Welcome to Colony Flow Level 1024. You face a beautiful dual mushroom pixel art design surrounded by a cyan sky and green leaves. The board looks peaceful but getting the ants to clear every tile requires careful planning and a solid strategy.

Colony Flow Level 1024 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board displays a vibrant pixel picture of two red mushrooms with white spots resting on a green leaf. You will immediately notice the bright colors making up the mushroom caps and the thick green leaf acting as a base. The entire background consists of a bright cyan sky that acts as an outer barrier. You have two large Hungry Doors sitting directly on the board. The left side features a red Hungry Door that requires seventy points to open. The right side holds a green Hungry Door needing fifty points to open. You will also spot a yellow key resting near the top right edge of the upper mushroom cap. This key links to a locked yellow block waiting down in your tray. Your block tray is loaded with high number blocks including several Connected Boxes. You will see green blocks and red blocks chained together in pairs. These connected pairs take up two of your five waiting slots the moment you tap them.

What It Takes to Clear Level 1024 Board

Clearing this puzzle means managing your five waiting slots perfectly. If you pull too many blocks without an open path to matching food tiles your slots will jam and you will lose the level. You must start by clearing the outer cyan sky tiles to open pathways inward. Once the sky breaks open the ants can reach the green leaves and the red mushroom caps underneath. You need to time your red block moves to reach the yellow key resting on the top mushroom. Collecting that key unlocks the yellow tray blocks required to clear the mushroom stalks later in the game. The Connected Boxes demand extra space in your waiting area so always leave at least two empty slots before pulling them up. You win when every pixel tile vanishes and the final ants return to the nest.

Colony Flow Level 1024 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Clear the right side of the cyan sky to open outer paths.

Your first move is to tackle the huge cyan border on the right side of the picture. Tap the cyan eighty five block in the tray to send it up into your waiting slots. The cyan ants will pour out of the nest and chew away the right side of the sky. This large number is necessary because the sky wraps all the way around the picture. Removing these outer tiles is crucial because it opens up the edges of the green leaf and the red mushroom cap underneath. You always want to strip away the outside layers first. This method ensures you never trap your ants behind solid walls or fill your waiting slots with blocks that have absolutely nowhere to go.

Step 2: Use the connected green blocks to eat the lower leaf.

Now you need to clear the lower green leaf to expose the base of the mushrooms. Look at your tray and find the Connected Boxes linking a green seventy block and a green sixty block. These are large quantities that require a lot of open surface area to process. Tap them so they move into your waiting slots together as a pair. The green ants will immediately swarm the lower leaf tiles and start shrinking the green border from the bottom up. Because you brought in two blocks at once you temporarily filled two of your five precious slots. Make sure the green ants have clear access to the leaf tiles so they finish their meals quickly. As the green food vanishes those two slots will free up for your next moves.

Step 3: Deploy large red blocks to shrink the lower mushroom cap.

With the bottom leaf mostly gone you can start working on the red mushrooms. Bring up the red one hundred and three block. This massive number will send a huge wave of red ants to devour the entire bottom mushroom cap. You need to clear this bulky middle section to keep your paths short and direct. The red tiles are packed tightly together here so a massive block is exactly what you need to break through the solid wall of color. As the red ants work their way through the cap they will slowly reveal more of the white spots hidden inside. Clearing this bottom cap creates a wide open space right in the middle of the board. This open space prevents any dead ends for your future moves and gives your ants a straight shot at the top half of the puzzle.

Step 4: Clear the upper cyan corner to reach the yellow key.

The top right corner of the picture still has a chunk of cyan sky blocking your way to the key. Pull the cyan sixty six block from the tray. The ants will march up the right side and clear the remaining blue tiles near the top of the frame. You have to get this sky out of the way before you can focus entirely on the top mushroom. This move exposes the outer edge of the top mushroom cap where the yellow key sits waiting. You must clear the background tiles around the key so your red ants can reach the edge in the next step. Keeping the flow moving upward along the right side guarantees your ants always find an open path. Never leave small chunks of sky behind because they will block you later.

Step 5: Send red ants to grab the key and unlock the yellow tray blocks.

Now it is time to secure the yellow key. Tap a red block from the tray and watch the red ants crawl up the right side of the cleared board. You need the red ants because the key is sitting directly on a red food tile on the mushroom cap. They will reach the red edge of the top mushroom and consume the tile holding the key. Once the ants eat that specific tile the key drops down and breaks the padlock on the yellow block waiting in your tray. Unlocking this block early is very important because you need those yellow points to clear the thick mushroom stalks later in the game. If you ignore the key you will eventually jam your slots with blocks you cannot use.

Step 6: Feed the red Hungry Door on the left side of the board.

Look at the left side of the picture where the red Hungry Door sits. It requires seventy points to open and vanish. You have a red seventy one block waiting in your tray. This door acts as a huge roadblock blocking the entire left side of the mushroom cap. Tap the red seventy one block to send the red ants straight to the Hungry Door. They will pour into the door and satisfy its seventy point requirement perfectly with one point left over. The door will disappear immediately and reveal the normal food tiles hidden underneath it. Removing this large obstacle clears a huge traffic jam on the left side. It allows your future ants to move freely around the entire left half of the board without getting stuck.

Step 7: Feed the green Hungry Door on the top right.

Next you must handle the green Hungry Door near the top right area. This door needs fifty points to open. Tap a green fifty block from your tray. Just like the red door this green object blocks your access to the leaf edge underneath it. The green ants will follow the cleared paths up the right side and enter the green Hungry Door directly. Just like before the door will vanish the moment the ants finish feeding it the fifty points. Getting both Hungry Doors off the board is a massive relief for your waiting slots. Your ants now have unrestricted access to every remaining section of the pixel art. The board is now completely open for your final moves.

Step 8: Clear the yellow mushroom stalks using your unlocked blocks.

With the paths fully open you can finally use the yellow blocks you unlocked earlier. Tap the yellow twenty eight block and send the yellow ants to the center of the board. They will march straight in and eat away the tall yellow stalks supporting both mushroom caps. The stalks are quite dense so you will need to follow up with another block quickly. Bring up the yellow twenty four block right after the first one finishes. Watch the ants steadily chew through the rest of the stalks. This removes the very core of the picture and isolates the remaining white spots and colorful edges. Breaking the picture into small islands makes the final cleanup much easier.

Step 9: Wipe out the white spots and remaining green leaf sections.

The picture is now broken into small scattered pieces. You have several white blocks in your tray including a white sixty and a white forty three. Pull them up one by one. The white ants will target the spots left behind on the mushroom caps. These spots are spread out so the ants will take a moment to walk to each one. At the same time tap the remaining green seventeen block to finish off the last tip of the leaf on the bottom left. Be very careful not to pull too many blocks at once here. You only have five waiting slots and bringing up a color that cannot reach its target will ruin your run instantly. Always wait for one group of ants to finish before starting the next.

Step 10: Clean up the final cyan and pink border tiles to win.

Only a few random tiles remain on the outer edges of the board. You have a cyan fifteen block and a pink fourteen block left in your tray. These small numbers are meant for the final loose pixels scattered around the frame. Bring them into your waiting slots carefully. The ants will scatter to the far corners of the board and consume the last remaining cyan sky and pink flower pixels. Once the final tile disappears the board will flash clean and empty. The remaining ants will dive back into the nest hole at the bottom and you will complete the level. You successfully kept your waiting slots clear and managed the tricky Connected Boxes perfectly.

Final Thought

Colony Flow Level 1024 tests your ability to plan ahead and manage space. Clearing the Hungry Doors and unlocking the key are your main priorities. If any of the moves above seem confusing I highly recommend you watch the video above this article. Seeing the ants move in real time makes it much easier to understand how the paths open up.
