Welcome back to another puzzle guide. Today we are looking at Colony Flow Level 151 and learning exactly how to beat it. This level features a massive pixel art pig made of pink and red tiles resting on a light blue background. You will need to manage your tray carefully to dig through the pig and collect three keys hidden inside the picture. I will show you the exact sequence of moves to keep your ant paths open and clear the board without ever jamming your waiting slots.

Colony Flow Level 151 Overview

What You Are Working With

Let us take a close look at the board layout for this level. The food tiles form a large pig face and body in the center of the screen. The entire outer border consists of light blue tiles. The pig itself is built from dark red tiles for the shadows and outer ears. Light pink tiles make up the main face and body. You will also see white tiles forming a shiny highlight on the upper left side of the pig forehead. Dark grey tiles are used for the two eyes and the two snout holes.

There is a special mechanic to watch out for here. You will encounter the Lock and Key system on this board. If you look closely at the picture you can spot three colored keys embedded inside the food tiles. There is a yellow key resting near the left ear. A green key sits right in the middle of the forehead. A blue key is located near the right ear. Down in your tray you will see several blocks trapped behind brightly colored locks. You cannot pull those locked blocks until you free the matching keys from the board above.

What It Takes to Clear Level 151 Board

Winning this level requires strict tray management and careful timing. You have exactly five waiting slots at the bottom of the screen above your main tray. Whenever you tap a block it moves up into one of these five slots. The ants then spawn from the central nest and walk to the matching colored food tiles to eat them. The number on the block counts down as the ants consume the food.

The main rule of the game is simple but deadly. If you fill all five waiting slots with blocks that cannot reach their food you instantly lose the level. This happens when the required food tiles are blocked by other colors. Your ultimate goal is to always keep at least one clear path open for your ants. You must peel the puzzle back layer by layer. We will start with the outer light blue border to grab the side keys and then slowly dig our way into the center of the pig face. Collecting the keys at the right time is the only way to unlock the heavy numbered blocks you need to finish the puzzle.

Colony Flow Level 151 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Clear the outer light blue background to gather the first two keys.

Your very first objective is to remove the outer shell of the puzzle. The entire pig is surrounded by light blue tiles. Look at your tray and locate the light blue blocks. You have a few smaller light blue blocks and a large one with 45 on it. Tap the light blue blocks to move them into your waiting slots. The light blue ants will stream out of the nest hole and fan out across the bottom edge of the board.

They will march up the left and right sides of the screen to consume the border tiles. This is a critical move because it frees up the space around the pig. As the light blue ants eat the background they will eventually reach the yellow key on the left side and the blue key on the right side. Once the tiles supporting those keys vanish the yellow and blue keys will drop straight down into your tray. This action immediately shatters the yellow and blue locks holding your trapped blocks hostage. You now have access to more dark red and light pink blocks for the next phase.

Step 2: Attack the bottom hooves and lower snout using dark red and light pink blocks.

Now that the border is gone you can focus on the pig itself. The bottom section of the picture features the pig feet and the lower curve of the snout. These areas are completely exposed to the nest hole. Tap a dark red block from your tray. The red ants will march straight up and begin dismantling the dark red hooves.

While the red ants are working you can also tap a light pink block. The pink ants will find their way around the hooves and start eating the lighter pink belly tiles. You must be very careful with your waiting slots right now. The dark red and light pink blocks have large numbers like 50 and 40. They take a long time to drain. Do not pull too many blocks at once. Let one dark red block finish completely before you queue up another one. This patience ensures you always have an empty slot ready just in case a path gets temporarily blocked.

Step 3: Remove the eyes and snout holes with the dark grey block.

As you clear the lower face you will expose the dark grey tiles. These tiles form the two eyes and the two dark nostrils on the pig snout. Look at your tray and find the dark grey block. It has the number 16 written on it. Tap this dark grey block to send it to your waiting slots.

The dark grey ants will emerge and head straight for the center of the face. They will quickly devour the snout holes and then move up to consume the eyes. Clearing these dark grey tiles is incredibly helpful. It punches holes straight through the middle of the puzzle. This opens up brand new paths for your other ants. Instead of walking all the way around the outside of the pig your future red and pink ants can now walk straight through the empty eye sockets to reach the upper forehead. This drastically reduces travel time and helps your blocks drain faster.

Step 4: Consume the white highlight tiles to expose the green key.

With the center of the face opened up you can now target the top section of the pig. Look at the upper left side of the forehead. You will see a cluster of white tiles that form a shiny highlight on the skin. You will also notice the green key sitting directly next to this white section. Tap the white block from your tray. It holds 21 ants.

The white ants will travel up through the freshly opened eye sockets and begin eating the white highlight tiles. At the same time you should pull another light pink block. The pink ants will chew through the remaining forehead tiles surrounding the green key. You want both the white ants and the pink ants working together to isolate the center of the forehead. Always keep an eye on your slots. Make sure the white ants have a totally clear path before you tap their block.

Step 5: Collect the green key and unlock the massive lower blocks.

This step is the major turning point of the level. As your pink and white ants finish eating the upper forehead the tiles supporting the green key will disappear. The green key will detach from the board and fall down to your tray. This is exactly what you have been working toward.

The moment the green key lands it will shatter the green lock on the bottom row of your tray. This frees up a massive light pink block and another dark red block. You absolutely need these heavy blocks to clear the final sections of the pig ears. Wait for your current active blocks to drain completely. You want your five waiting slots to be as empty as possible before you pull these newly unlocked giant blocks. Managing your space here prevents a late game loss.

Step 6: Swarm the upper ears to finish the board.

You are now in the final stretch. The only tiles left on the board are the top halves of the left and right ears along with a few stray red pixels on the very top of the head. Tap the newly unlocked light pink block and send it to the waiting slots. Follow it up with the remaining dark red blocks.

Your colony will flood out of the nest in huge numbers. The pink ants will consume the soft inner sections of the ears. The dark red ants will climb all the way to the top corners of the screen to eat the dark red outer ear tips. Because you cleared the center of the face earlier the travel paths are wide open and highly efficient. The numbers on your blocks will count down rapidly as the ants swarm the final remaining pixels. Once the last red tile vanishes the level is complete.

Final Thought

Beating this level is all about pacing yourself and respecting the lock and key mechanic. If you try to rush and pull every block you see you will immediately clog your five waiting slots. By clearing the light blue background first you set yourself up for a smooth run.
