Colony Flow Level 191 presents a fun pixel art rocket ship covered in thick chocolate patches. You need to break through three massive chocolate blocks while clearing the light blue background to reach the food tiles underneath. I found this level requires a steady rhythm of opening up outer paths so your ants never get stuck at the bottom of the board. Managing your five waiting slots is the only way to survive the long travel times in the later stages of this puzzle.
Colony Flow Level 191 Overview
What You Are Working With
The picture in this level is a colorful pixel art rocket ship pointing toward the top right corner. The ship features a green main body, a red nose cone at the top, a yellow engine thruster at the bottom left, and a thick black outline tying it all together. The entire background consists of light blue sky tiles. However the biggest challenge comes from the three giant chocolate blocks sitting right on top of the rocket. One chocolate block sits over the bottom left thruster with a counter of 400. Another sits directly in the middle with a counter of 300. The third sits over the top right nose cone with another counter of 300. These chocolate patches completely block access to the food tiles buried underneath them. Your tray starts packed with light blue blocks numbering 38, 20, and 14.
What It Takes to Clear Level 191 Board
To win this level you must completely break down all three chocolate blocks and then feed every single colored tile to your ants. The chocolate blocks demand constant attention because they require hundreds of ant bites to disappear. You cannot clear the yellow thruster until the 400 chocolate block is gone. You cannot clear the red nose until the top 300 chocolate block is entirely gone. Your primary goal is creating clear travel paths for your ants. The ants emerge from the dark nest hole at the bottom center of the screen. If you call too many ants at once and they get stuck behind the chocolate they will sit idle in your five waiting slots. If those five slots fill up and nobody can move you lose immediately. You must manage the flow of ants carefully. Balance clearing the light blue background with sending direct attacks against the chocolate patches to keep the board open.
Colony Flow Level 191 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Start clearing the light blue sky to expose the chocolate.
Your very first moves will set the pace for the entire board. You start with a tray full of light blue blocks carrying numbers like 38, 20, 14, and 20. Tap the first light blue block to send your ants toward the outer edges of the background sky. The ants march out of the dark nest hole at the bottom center of the screen and immediately begin munching the light blue tiles on the left and right sides. As they clear these boundary tiles they naturally bump into the bottom left chocolate block. Every single time an ant hits the chocolate it reduces the counter by one. You want to keep tapping light blue blocks to expand the open space around the rocket ship. This clears wide paths for your future colors. Make sure you only load two or three light blue blocks into your waiting slots at any one time. You must wait to see the ants actively clearing tiles before you load another block. This guarantees you never jam your tray early in the round.
Step 2: Dispatch black and green ants to attack the bottom chocolate patch.
With the light blue sky partially cleared you unlock better access to the black outline tiles and the lower chocolate patch. You will see black blocks with high numbers like 109 appear in your tray alongside red and green options. Tap a black block to send ants up the left and right sides of the rocket outline. These ants will chew on the black outline but they also hit the bottom chocolate block extremely hard. You will watch the chocolate counter drop from 400 down to 187 very quickly. You can also mix in some green blocks numbering 20 to start working on the lower green rocket body. The key right here involves balancing the light blue sky clearing with the aggressive chocolate breaking. Always keep a close eye on your five waiting slots at the bottom of the screen. If the black ants have a long walk around the outside edge they will take extra time to start eating. Leave at least one or two slots open so the board continues to flow smoothly.
Step 3: Break the bottom chocolate completely to clear the yellow rocket thruster.
The relentless biting finally shatters the bottom left chocolate block entirely. This action exposes the bright yellow food tiles underneath which make up the engine thruster of the rocket. Now you can safely pull yellow blocks from your tray into the waiting slots. You will see a yellow block numbering 42 or 48 ready for use. Tap it to send a swarm of yellow ants straight into the thruster section. Since the path is now completely wide open the yellow ants reach their target almost instantly. While the yellow ants eat you should also tap the red blocks numbering 56. The red ants will begin marching toward the middle chocolate block and the red nose cone. By combining yellow and red blocks you keep the board highly active and prevent any single color from piling up in your tray. Your waiting slots remain safe and the ants keep moving constantly.
Step 4: Swarm the main fuselage to destroy the middle chocolate block.
Your attention now shifts to the massive middle section of the green rocket body. The yellow thruster is completely gone which leaves a huge open space at the bottom left side of the board. Tap the green blocks numbering 20 and 18 to send waves of green ants up into the main ship fuselage. These green ants will clear the green tiles and simultaneously attack the middle chocolate block numbering 300. You will also have more black blocks available for the rocket outline. Pull a black block numbering 73 into the tray. The black ants will wrap around the right side of the rocket and hit the chocolate from the other direction. The ants surround the chocolate patch and chew it down to 65 and eventually nothing. Never fill all five slots with green blocks at once. Space them out so the ants have plenty of time to travel up the increasingly empty board.
Step 5: March your ants to the top right to finish the final chocolate block.
The middle chocolate block breaks apart and leaves only the top right section covered. This final patch sits directly over the red nose cone of the rocket and blocks your progress. Your tray now provides more red blocks numbering 56 and 35. Tap these red blocks to send your ants on a massive march all the way up the right side of the board. They will collide with the final chocolate block and wear it down to zero. You can also tap the remaining black blocks numbering 31 and 21 to clear the top sections of the rocket outline. Because the ants must walk from the very bottom hole all the way to the top right corner the travel time grows very long. This travel delay is exactly how you lose the game if you are not careful. You must patiently watch the ants arrive at the top before you tap more blocks. Keep your waiting slots mostly empty during this long final march.
Step 6: Clean up the remaining sky and rocket outline to win the level.
The final chocolate patch shatters to reveal the last few red and black tiles. Only a handful of tiles remain scattered at the very top edge of the board. You will see small numbers in your tray like a green 8, a light blue 10, and a black 10. Tap these final blocks to dispatch the ultimate wave of ants. They will stream out of the nest hole and fan out across the giant empty space. Watch them climb the screen to snatch the very last pieces of the rocket nose and the light blue sky background. Keep your hands off the tray while these final ants finish the job. There is no need to rush and risk a sudden slot jam. Once they grab the last tile the board clears completely and you win the level.
Final Thought
This rocket puzzle teaches you the importance of patience and proper pathing. Breaking down massive chocolate blocks takes time and you must resist the urge to tap every block in your tray at once. Keep your waiting slots clear and let the ants do the heavy lifting. If you find yourself getting stuck or filling up your slots too fast I highly recommend watching the gameplay video above this article to see exactly how the ants navigate the open board.
