Welcome to Colony Flow Level 371. This stage gives you a massive pixel art owl to feed to your colony. You have huge chunks of chocolate blocking your path and a locked door at the very bottom. I play every single level myself and write these guides to help you win without getting stuck.

Colony Flow Level 371 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board features a large green owl character resting on a light blue background. You have several distinct colors to manage. The sky is light blue. The main body of the owl is light green. The outline and shadows are dark green. The eyes are white with black pupils. The beak is orange.

You also have two special elements to handle. The first special element is the chocolate. You will see large brown chocolate blocks sitting on the wings and near the bottom corners of the board. These chocolate blocks have massive numbers on them like 800 and 600. They block your ants from passing. The second special element is a Hungry Door located at the bottom center of the board. The door requires 18 orange units to open.

Your tray contains the blocks you need to clear these tiles. You will find light blue, light green, dark green, white, black, and orange blocks. Some of these blocks are joined together as Connected Boxes.

What It Takes to Clear Level 371 Board

Winning this level means clearing every single pixel art tile from the board. Your ants stream out of the nest at the bottom and travel to the matching colored tiles. Every time you pull a block from the tray into one of your five waiting slots, the ants use that block to eat the matching food tiles.

The main rule of the game is simple. You lose if you fill all five waiting slots with blocks that have no open path to their matching tiles. Your entire strategy must revolve around keeping at least one path open at all times. You have to chip away at the outside of the owl before you can reach the inner details. The chocolate blocks will slowly wear down and disappear as your ants clear the colored tiles surrounding them. You must manage your tray carefully and never pull a block unless the ants can reach that specific color on the board immediately.

Colony Flow Level 371 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Start pulling light blue blocks to clear the massive background and open the outer edges.

You need to begin by opening up the outer edges of the board. Pull the light blue blocks from your tray into your waiting slots. The ants will turn light blue and stream up the sides of the board to eat the sky tiles. This action creates a wide open space around the owl. It also starts the process of wearing down the massive chocolate blocks on the outer wings. Do not pull all your light blue blocks at once. Pull two or three and watch the numbers count down. Keep an eye on your five waiting slots. You want to make sure the light blue ants have a continuous path to the top corners of the board.

Step 2: Introduce light green blocks to start feeding the ants the main body of the owl character.

Once the light blue ants clear enough space around the edges, the light green body of the owl becomes fully accessible. Pull a light green block from your tray. The light green ants will march up and start eating the top of the owl head and the outer wings. Managing the flow between the light blue background and the light green body keeps your waiting slots moving smoothly. Alternate between pulling a light blue block and a light green block. This dual approach ensures that you always have active ants on the board and your slots never back up. The chocolate blocks will continue to shrink as the green ants clear the tiles next to them.

Step 3: Manage the connected light green and black blocks carefully to avoid jamming your tray.

Look closely at your tray and you will spot a light green block attached to a black block. These are Connected Boxes. When you pull one into a waiting slot, both blocks come together. You must guarantee that both colors have a clear path to their targets before you make this move. The black block needs to reach the black pupils inside the owl eyes. Do not pull this connected pair early. Wait until the light green ants have eaten enough of the face to expose the eyes. If you pull the connected blocks too soon, the black block will get trapped in a waiting slot because the pupils are blocked. Wait for a clear path.

Step 4: Deploy white blocks to clear the large eyes and open up the center of the board.

The owl has big white eyes surrounded by the light green face. Once the face is mostly clear, pull the white blocks from your tray. The white ants will travel straight into the center of the owl and clear out the large white eye tiles. This move opens up the inner section of the board completely. It also clears the final barrier protecting the black pupils. Opening the eyes is a required move before you can finish the black tiles. Take your time and let the white ants finish their job. Keep watching your five waiting slots to ensure the white blocks are counting down properly and not getting stuck.

Step 5: Send dark green ants to clear the border details and separate the owl from the background.

The owl design includes a dark green outline and shadow details located under the wings and face. Pull the dark green blocks to send your ants to these border areas. The dark green ants will travel along the newly cleared paths and clean up the edges of the character. This action separates the owl shape from the bottom section of the board. Always verify that the dark green tiles are exposed before pulling these blocks. The dark green sections are thin and can easily be blocked by remaining light green tiles. Clear the main body first and then pull the dark green blocks to sweep up the borders.

Step 6: Target the orange beak to prepare the bottom area for the final special tile.

Right in the middle of the face sits an orange beak. Pull a small orange block from your tray to clear this beak. The orange ants will march up and eat the beak tiles. You need to keep the orange blocks moving because they set up your next major move. Clearing the beak exposes the area right above the bottom section. By this point in the level, the huge chocolate blocks in the bottom corners are getting very small. The ants have been chipping away at them the entire time. Clearing the beak gives you the exact path you need to address the final challenge at the bottom of the board.

Step 7: Feed the Hungry Door at the bottom of the board with exactly 18 orange units to unlock it.

screenshot

Directly below the beak area sits a Hungry Door. This door requires exactly 18 orange units to open. Look in your tray for the orange block with the number 18. Pull this block into an empty waiting slot. The orange ants will stream straight down into the Hungry Door. Watch the number count down as the ants feed the door. Once the door receives all 18 units, it swings open and disappears from the board. You must never pull this specific orange block until the path to the door is perfectly clear. If you pull it while the door is blocked, it will sit in your tray and cause a dangerous jam.

Step 8: Clean up the final light blue and dark green tiles to finish the board and win the level.

With the Hungry Door open and the chocolate blocks mostly destroyed, the board is wide open. You will have a few stray tiles remaining at the very top and around the bottom edges. Pull the last remaining light blue blocks to finish off the top edge of the sky. Pull any leftover dark green blocks to clear the bottom corners. Keep your eyes firmly on your five waiting slots. Only pull exactly what you need to finish the job. The ants will swarm the final few tiles. Once the last tile vanishes, the ants will finish their paths and you will win the level.

Final Thought

Managing the connected blocks and the huge chunks of chocolate makes this board a fun challenge. Just remember to keep your paths open and never rush your block pulls. If any of these steps are hard to follow in text, you can always watch the video above this article.
