Colony Flow Level 507 tests your patience with dangerous tray mechanics that can trap you early. You are about to learn the exact sequence of moves to keep your waiting slots open. I played this board to figure out the safest path through the connected boxes. Follow my instructions below and you will easily clear this picture without jamming your board.
Colony Flow Level 507 Overview
What You Are Working With
When you load into this level you will see a large pixel art picture of a princess holding a wand. She wears a large pink dress with a flowing cape and white trim. She has dark red shoes, dark grey hair, a peach face, and a pink hat. The entire character is surrounded by a thick border of green background tiles. At the bottom of the screen is your tray of numbered colored blocks. The top row is filled entirely with green blocks holding high numbers. As you look deeper into the tray you will spot several special elements. You will see connected boxes where a dark red block is joined by a thick line to a dark grey block. Later on you will see another set linking a pink block to a dark grey block. You will also notice blocks that look like padlocks. These are hidden boxes that mask their true color until they reach the front of the line.
What It Takes to Clear Level 507 Board
Winning this level requires strict slot management and total patience. You have five waiting slots at the bottom of the board. Every time you tap a block it moves into one of these slots. If the color matches an open path on the board the ants will flow out and eat the tiles. If the path is blocked the block sits in the slot and waits. If you fill all five slots with waiting blocks and no ants can move you instantly lose the level. Because of the connected boxes taking up two slots at once you face a high risk of jamming your board. You must clear the outer layers of the picture sequentially. You have to eat through the bottom green background first to reach the dress and shoes. Then you must clear the bottom elements of the character to reach the upper elements. You win when every single pixel tile is eaten and your ants return to the nest.
Colony Flow Level 507 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Break through the bottom green barrier.
Your very first move dictates the pace of the entire level. The bottom edge of the pixel picture is completely solid green. The tray gives you exactly what you need with a top row full of high numbered green blocks. The nest hole sits directly below the picture. Tap the first green block on the left to send your first wave of green ants onto the board. They will crawl out of the nest hole and immediately start devouring the bottom row of green tiles. You want to clear this entire bottom section to expose the character hidden above it. Watch the number on the green block count down as the ants consume the tiles. When the first block finishes tap the next green block in the tray. Keep feeding green blocks into your waiting slots to maintain a steady flow of ants. Do not be tempted to tap any other colors yet. You must create a wide open path to the bottom of the dress and the shoes before you introduce new colors to the board. Filling your slots with unplayable colors right now will guarantee a fast loss.
Step 2: Clear the white trim to access the dress.
The green ants have now eaten away the bottom border and exposed the lowest parts of the character. You can clearly see a row of white tiles forming the bottom trim of the dress. You must remove this white barrier to get to the massive pink section above it. Look at your tray and find the white block. Tap it to pull it into an empty waiting slot. The white ants will stream out and quickly eat the white trim along the bottom edge. They will also clear the small white cuffs on the sleeves. Removing these white tiles is a mandatory sequence move. The pink tiles are completely blocked until the white tiles are gone. Allow the white ants to finish their meal completely. Keeping your waiting slots empty and available is the core strategy of this game. By waiting for the white block to finish you ensure you have maximum flexibility for the complex moves coming up next.
Step 3: Pull the first set of connected boxes.
This is where the tray mechanics become dangerous. You will notice a dark red block tied directly to a dark grey block by a thick line. This is a connected box set. When you tap the dark red block you do not just get the dark red block. The dark grey block gets pulled into the waiting slots right alongside it. This action immediately burns two of your five precious slots. You should only pull a connected set when you are certain the first color has a clear path. Look at the board and verify that the dark red shoes are fully exposed at the bottom of the character. Since they are exposed you can safely tap the dark red block. The dark red ants will rush out and consume the shoes. The dark grey block will sit idle in the next slot. The dark grey ants want to eat the hair on the head of the princess but the hair is completely surrounded by pink and peach tiles. The dark grey block will just have to wait. You now have a clogged slot but you planned for it so your board remains safe.
Step 4: Dismantle the large pink dress.
With the shoes and bottom trim gone the giant pink dress is completely vulnerable. This pink section takes up a massive amount of space on the board. You need to start feeding pink blocks from your tray to tear it down. Tap your first pink block and watch the pink ants swarm the lower half of the dress. They will naturally spread out and eat their way upward. As the first pink block runs out tap the next one to keep the pressure on. The character also has a large pink cape flowing out to the right side. The ants will divide their attention between the main dress and the cape. You have to keep an eye on your waiting slots during this process. Remember you still have that dark grey block sitting there taking up space. Only pull a pink block when the current one is close to finishing. If you pull three pink blocks at once you risk filling your slots and causing a fatal traffic jam. Pace your taps and let the ants do the heavy lifting.
Step 5: Navigate the second set of connected boxes.
Deep in the tray you will uncover another dangerous pair of connected boxes. This pair links a pink block to another dark grey block. You already know how this works. Tapping the pink block will drag the dark grey block into the slots with it. Before you touch it make sure your current pink ants have cleared enough of the dress to allow new ants to flow. Tap the pink block and watch it fill two slots. The new pink ants will rush out to finish off the upper chest and the rest of the flowing cape. You are now in the most dangerous phase of the level. You have two separate dark grey blocks sitting idle in your waiting slots. You are operating with only three available slots. One single mistake here will end your run. Your absolute top priority is to clear a path to the dark grey hair so those waiting blocks can activate and free up your board.
Step 6: Clear the face to release the dark grey ants.
The pink ants will eventually eat their way up to the chest and neck of the character. This exposes the peach colored face and hands. Tapping the peach block is your key to survival. Pull the peach block into a slot and let the ants clear the face. The moment the face disappears the dark grey hair is finally exposed to the open board. This triggers a massive chain reaction. The two dark grey blocks that have been clogging your slots for minutes will suddenly activate. A huge swarm of dark grey ants will launch out of the nest and devour the hair. Watch your waiting slots empty out one by one. The relief is immediate. You now have full control of your board again. With the slots clear you can easily tap the yellow and orange blocks to send ants to eat the wand the princess is holding.
Step 7: Unlock the hidden boxes for the background.
Now you must deal with the padlock icons in your tray. These are hidden boxes. A hidden box conceals its color until it moves to the very front of the tray line. You cannot plan for them until they reveal themselves. As you played the pink and peach blocks earlier the blocks in front of the hidden boxes disappeared. When the hidden boxes slide to the front the padlock drops away and reveals a solid green block underneath. This is exactly what you need to finish the level. The character is mostly gone but there is still a massive amount of green background around the top and sides. Tap the newly revealed green blocks and send the ants on a long march. They will crawl all the way up the sides of the board and begin eating the upper corners of the green background. Keep pulling the green blocks as they reveal themselves.
Step 8: Clean up the hat and final tiles.
The board is now almost completely empty. You have a few pink tiles left for the hat on the head of the princess. You have a couple of white tiles left for her collar and hat trim. You also have the very top rows of the green background. Look at your tray and pull the final pink block to finish off the hat. Pull the final white block to erase the collar and trim. Finally tap the last remaining green blocks in your tray. The green ants will swarm the top edge of the board and eat the last few background tiles. Make sure you do not have any stray colors sitting in your slots. Watch the ants consume the very last pixel and return to the nest to complete the level.
Final Thought
This level is a perfect test of your board management skills. The connected boxes force you to play with a handicap by permanently taking up slots until you dig deep enough into the picture. If you rush your moves and pull those connected boxes too early you will jam your slots and lose instantly. Patience is your best tool here. Let the ants finish their assigned sections before you flood the board with new colors. If you find yourself getting stuck on the timing of the connected boxes I highly encourage you to watch the video above this article. Seeing the exact moment to pull the blocks will help you clear the board with ease.
