Welcome to Colony Flow Level 32. This puzzle features a great piece of pixel art that looks like a little market stall or a shop with a striped awning. You will need to manage a few hidden mechanics and a tight pathway to get your ants to the finish line. Let us jump right into the board so you can beat this puzzle and move forward.
Colony Flow Level 32 Overview
What You Are Working With
The picture at the top of your screen shows a market stall. The base of the stall is made of yellow pixels with dark red trim. Above the counter you will see a large white empty space with several yellow items stacked up like blocks of cheese or gold bars. The sides of the stall have black pillars that lead up to a red and dark red striped canopy roof. The entire structure sits against a white background. Down in your tray you start with a mix of single blocks and connected boxes. You will see connected yellow blocks and connected dark red blocks right away. As you dig deeper into the tray you will also uncover hidden boxes marked with question marks. These hidden boxes will only reveal their true color once the ants have an open path to eat that specific color on the board.
What It Takes to Clear Level 32 Board
Winning this level requires a bottom up approach. You must clear the yellow foundation first before the ants can reach the black side pillars. Once the pillars open up the ants can climb up the sides to reach the red canopy roof. You only have five waiting slots for your numbered blocks. If you fill all five slots with colors the ants cannot reach yet, the game ends in a loss. You must pace your block pulls. Only bring up colors that sit on the immediate outer edge of the pixel art. As the ants chew through the outer layers the inner parts of the shop will become available. You win when the ants completely erase the shop and the background from the screen.
Colony Flow Level 32 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Open the bottom foundation of the market stall
You need to get the ants out of the nest and working on the lowest part of the picture. The very bottom strip of the stall is entirely yellow. Look at your tray and pull the connected yellow blocks up into your waiting slots. The ants will stream out of the hole and start eating the yellow tiles from left to right. This exposes the dark red trim directly above the yellow base. Once you see the dark red pixels exposed, pull the connected dark red twenty four and twenty two blocks into your slots. The ants will shift their focus and clear out that trim. Do not pull any other colors yet because the ants have no way to reach the black pillars or the white background.
Step 2: Clear the bottom corners to wrap around the sides
With the base foundation gone the ants can now reach the bottom left and bottom right corners of the picture. These corners consist of white background pixels and a few more dark red structural pixels. Pull a white block from the tray to get the ants started on the background. You will see the ants split up and attack both the left side and the right side simultaneously. Add another dark red block to the slots to let the ants finish off the lower edges of the stall counter. Watch your waiting slots closely here. You might end up with a white block holding a very low number like one and a connected dark red block holding a three. Let the ants completely finish these blocks before you crowd the slots with new colors.
Step 3: Send the ants up the black side pillars
The bottom area is now completely empty and the paths leading up the left and right sides of the stall are wide open. The stall is framed by black pixels and surrounded by white sky pixels. Pull a high numbered black block like the thirty five into your slots. Follow it with a high numbered white block like the forty. The ants will march up both sides of the screen in two long lines. They will steadily eat away the black outer walls and the white border. This part takes a little time because the paths are narrow and the ants have to walk further from the nest. Keep an eye on the numbers counting down. As long as the black and white numbers are moving you are perfectly safe.
Step 4: Manage the crowded slots near the roof
As the ants reach the top half of the board they will expose a massive amount of white background tiles and start touching the red canopy. This is the most dangerous part of the level for your five waiting slots. You will have a lot of different colors exposed all at once. Your tray will offer you connected red blocks, connected yellow blocks, and single black blocks. Pull a connected red block to get the ants chewing on the left edge of the striped awning. You might also have a yellow block in your slots taking care of the exposed yellow items inside the stall. You will likely see your slots fill up with four different blocks at once. You might have a yellow twenty eight, a black twenty seven, and two high numbered white blocks. Just make sure every single color in your slots is currently touching an open path on the board.
Step 5: Reveal the hidden box and eat the canopy
The ants are now heavily focused on the red awning and the upper roof. Look at your tray and notice the hidden box sitting there with question marks. The red awning blocks the top outline of the roof. As the ants clear away the red tiles they will expose the black pixels that outline the very top of the stall. The moment those black pixels become accessible the hidden box in your tray flips over and reveals itself as a black block. Pull this newly revealed black block into your slots to clear the roof outline. Bring up another white block to help clear the sky above the awning. The ants will swarm the top edge of the board in a massive group.
Step 6: Empty the center display of the shop
The outer shell of the market stall is completely gone now. The ants have direct access to the center of the picture where the yellow items sit on the counter. Pull the connected yellow twenty four and thirty eight blocks from your tray. The ants will pour right into the middle of the screen and quickly dismantle the yellow stacks. You will also need to pull a red block and a white block to keep the ants working on the remnants of the canopy and the inner background sky. Your slots will be quite full here with yellow, red, white, and dark red blocks all counting down at the same time. The board is very open now so the ants will find paths easily and prevent your slots from jamming.
Step 7: Clean up the final scattered pixels
Only a small handful of tiles remain on the board. You will see a few isolated yellow pixels in the center and some scattered white and red pixels near the top. Pull your final yellow block from the tray. Your waiting slots will just hold a few low numbered blocks. You might see a black thirty two, a red six, a yellow two, and a couple of small white blocks. The ants will quickly sweep across the board and grab the last few pieces of food. Once they carry the final white pixel off the screen the level is complete.
Final Thought
Level 32 relies entirely on your patience at the very beginning. You have to wait for the bottom foundation to clear before you start pulling blocks for the sides or the roof. If you try to rush the black and white blocks too early you will jam your slots and lose. Keep a close eye on the connected blocks and make sure the hidden boxes have room to flip. Take your time and let the ants work their way up the board naturally. Watch the video above this article if you want to see exactly how the hidden box flips and how to manage the busy upper roof section.
