Pulling this block first is an absolute requirement because it takes the ants a long time to travel to the outer edges of the board. Leaving this giant block sitting in your tray will trap the other blocks you need behind it. Move the 435 dark red block into a waiting slot right now and let the ants begin their long journey around the perimeter. You will watch the number drop steadily from 435 down to 235 as the ants chew through the lower sections of the backpack. You just gave your ants a permanent job while you work on the rest of the board.

Step 2: Use the first connected boxes to open the early sky and grass

You will soon encounter a set of connected blocks containing a light blue 17 and a green 18. Connected boxes take up two waiting slots at the exact same time. Once that block finishes you can pull the light blue 80 block to sweep away the large sections of light sky on the left side. The dark red 435 block is still active and dropping down to 155 during this process. Do not let the sky colors pile up in your waiting slots while you wait for the red block. Keep the blue blocks moving constantly to maintain an open board and keep the ants flowing.
