Welcome to Colony Flow Level 41 where you face a massive colorful grid. This board looks like a patchwork quilt with blue dividing lines and red squares wrapping around yellow centers. You will also notice a row of hidden boxes trapped in the bottom sections. I will walk you through exactly how to break this grid apart and keep your colony moving without jamming your waiting slots. Playing this level requires a steady rhythm and careful attention to the order of the colors. If you pull the wrong block at the wrong time your colony will stall. I played through this level multiple times to find the safest path to victory. Follow my steps and you will clear the board with ease.

Colony Flow Level 41 Overview

What You Are Working With

The picture for this level is a neat geometric pattern spanning the entire board. A structural framework of blue tiles creates a four by four grid. Inside every single square of that grid sits a red border. Most of these red borders hold solid yellow food tiles directly in the center. The lowest row of the grid is a bit different. Instead of yellow food you will find hidden boxes sitting inside those bottom red squares. These hidden boxes keep their true color a secret until you clear a path to them. Your tray at the bottom of the screen provides a mix of blue red yellow and white numbered blocks. You need to use these blocks in the right sequence so your ants can reach the food without filling all five waiting slots. Every block you pull has a specific countdown number that tells you exactly how many tiles the ants can eat.

What It Takes to Clear Level 41 Board

Clearing this board requires a strict bottom up approach. The ants start at the bottom edge of the board and must eat their way higher row by row. You have to break the bottom blue horizontal line first. Opening that blue line gives your colony access to the red borders in the first row. Eating those red borders then exposes the hidden boxes. Once exposed those hidden boxes reveal themselves as white food tiles. You will repeat a very specific pattern throughout this level. You will break the blue frame then break the red borders and finally eat the inside cores. You must do this as you move higher and higher up the screen. You win the level when the top row vanishes and all blocks in your waiting slots are totally empty.

Colony Flow Level 41 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Open the bottom edge by clearing the lowest blue line

The only path available at the very start of the level is the bottom horizontal blue line. You must pull a blue block from the tray to get your ants moving. Tap a blue block to send it to one of your five waiting slots. The ants will stream out of the nest hole and start eating the blue tiles along the bottom edge. This action is crucial because it opens the entry points to the four square cells in the lowest row. Do not pull any other colors yet. If you pull a red or yellow block right now they will just sit in your waiting slots and block your progress. Every blocked slot brings you closer to a jammed board. Wait for the ants to finish eating the bottom blue line so the paths to the red borders open up safely.

Step 2: Break into the bottom row of red borders

With the bottom blue line completely gone your ants can now reach the red borders of the lowest four squares. Find a red block in your tray and tap it to send it up to the waiting slots. The ants will march up into the open gaps and begin dismantling the red tiles. You will see the numbers on your red block tick down as the ants consume the food. Keep a close eye on your five waiting slots while this happens. You want to make sure the red block has enough capacity to clear a good portion of these lower borders. Clearing these red borders is the absolute only way to unlock the hidden boxes trapped inside them. Allow the colony to completely finish eating the red tiles in this bottom area before you decide to move on to the next color in the tray.

Step 3: Clear the white food revealed from the hidden boxes

Once the red borders around the bottom cells are removed the hidden boxes finally activate. They will flip over and reveal themselves as white food tiles. Now you have a clear open path to reach them. Tap a white block from your lower tray to send it into the active waiting slots. Your colony will immediately rush upward to eat these new white tiles. This is a very satisfying moment in the level because clearing these white tiles completely empties out the entire bottom row of the grid. By finishing this row you give your ants a wide open staging area to attack the vertical blue dividers that hold up the rest of the board. Leaving any white tiles behind will block your path so make sure the numbers reach zero.

Step 4: Dismantle the vertical blue lines to access the second row

Now that the bottom row is totally empty you must push higher into the grid. The next obstacles blocking your way are the vertical blue lines separating the second row of squares. Send another blue block up to your waiting slots from the tray. The ants will climb up the open columns and start chewing away at the blue dividers. Eating these vertical blue sections exposes the underside of the red borders in the second row. You must always maintain this rhythm as you play. You break the blue structural lines to expose the red borders inside. Do not jump ahead and pull yellow blocks yet because the ants still cannot reach the yellow cores. Pulling yellow now would just waste a slot and risk a game over state.

Step 5: Chew through the second row of red borders

screenshot

The vertical blue lines are now out of the way and the bottom edges of the second row of red squares are fully exposed. Pull a red block from the tray and watch the ants go to work. The ants will swarm up the screen and begin eating the red tiles. Since the red shapes are complete squares the ants will work their way around the corners to consume the whole border. This step takes a large volume of ants so you might need a red block with a high number to get the job done properly. As the red tiles disappear the bright yellow cores in the second row will finally become accessible to your colony. Your board is now halfway done and your waiting slots should be totally clear and manageable.

Step 6: Eat the yellow cores and keep the tray moving

The yellow cores in the second row are completely unprotected now that the red borders are gone. Tap a yellow block to bring it into the waiting slots. The colony will flood into the centers of the squares and devour the yellow food. This step requires careful tray management because you have five waiting slots and you never want them full of blocks that have no open paths. By clearing the yellow cores immediately you free up that slot and prepare the board for the next phase. If you ever feel stuck just look at which color is touching the empty space on the board. That touching color is always the next block you need to pull from the tray.

Step 7: Break the middle horizontal blue divider

screenshot

With the second row completely gone your ants will hit a ceiling in the middle of the board. This ceiling is the middle horizontal blue line of the grid. You know the exact drill by now. Bring a blue block into the active area. The colony will march left and right across this middle divider and eat it away piece by piece. Removing this horizontal blue barrier is critical because it unlocks the top half of the entire board. The grid structure gets much weaker at this point. The ants have multiple angles of attack which speeds up the clearing process significantly. Just watch your block numbers and make sure you have enough blue capacity to finish the line before pulling the next color.

Step 8: Attack the third row red borders and yellow cores

The third row operates exactly like the second row but your ants will clear it even faster due to the wide open space below. Bring up a red block to strip away the red borders of the four squares in the third row. Once the red borders are completely eaten send a yellow block to consume the yellow cores inside. You are repeating the core loop of the level here. You break the outside border then you eat the inside core. Keep pulling blocks in this exact order so you never crowd your five waiting slots. If you pull a yellow block before the red border is gone that yellow block will just sit there and take up valuable space.

Step 9: Destroy the final blue grid pieces

Only the very top row of the grid remains on the screen. You need to clear the last vertical blue lines and the top horizontal blue border. Tap your remaining blue blocks to send them up from the tray. The ants will surge to the top of the screen and eat the last remaining structural pieces of the picture. This might take one or two blue blocks depending on the numbers they carry. Let the ants finish eating all the blue tiles so nothing stands between them and the final set of squares. The picture is now just a few floating red and yellow pieces sitting isolated at the top of your screen.

Step 10: Clean up the last red and yellow tiles

The board is almost perfectly clean at this stage. You just have the top row of red borders and yellow cores left to clear. Send up a red block to clear the red tiles. As soon as the red is gone bring up your final yellow block from the tray. The ants will swarm the last bits of yellow food. Watch the numbers on your blocks drop down to zero as the final tiles vanish from the screen. Your waiting slots will empty out completely. The colony will finish their meal and you will successfully beat the level without ever causing a jam. This systematic approach guarantees a win every single time you play.

Final Thought

Beating this level is all about respecting the grid and working systematically from the bottom to the top. As long as you clear the outer colors before pulling blocks for the inner colors you will never clog your five waiting slots. Patience is your best tool here. Let the ants finish their current meal before you serve the next block. If you lose track of the color order or need a visual guide for the hidden boxes I highly recommend watching the video above this article.
