I will show you exactly how to lead your colony to victory without jamming your board or getting stuck.

Colony Flow Level 52 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board features a large pixel art design of two footprints sitting in a sea of yellow background tiles. The left footprint is made of light blue tiles. The right footprint consists of pink tiles. Both footprints have thick black borders wrapping around their heels and toes. You will spot two special items resting directly on the board. A light blue key sits inside the left footprint and a yellow key rests inside the right footprint.

Your tray at the bottom of the screen is packed with complex puzzle elements. You start with Connected Boxes linking a yellow block and a light blue block together. Another set of Connected Boxes links a yellow block and a pink block. You will also see multiple Hidden Box tiles displaying question marks that conceal their true colors. Finally, there are locked blocks in the tray waiting for you to collect the matching keys from the board above.

What It Takes to Clear Level 52 Board

You win the level by clearing every single pixel art tile from the screen and allowing all your ants to exit the board. The primary challenge comes from the five waiting slots at the bottom of your screen. If you pull too many colors that cannot reach their matching tiles, your slots will fill up entirely and you will lose the level.

To succeed here, you must clear the bottom yellow area first to expose the black borders. Then you must break through those black borders to let your ants inside the footprints. Getting inside allows you to collect the Lock and Key items required to free up your tray. You have to keep your waiting slots flowing smoothly by only pulling colors that have an open path to their matching tiles.

Colony Flow Level 52 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Open the bottom yellow background to reach the borders

Start by pulling the first set of Connected Boxes from your tray into your waiting slots. This specific set links a yellow block and a light blue block together. Pulling Connected Boxes takes up two of your five slots instantly. You must do this safely because the yellow background tiles are totally exposed at the bottom edge of the board. The ants will stream out and start eating the yellow background from the bottom up. Keep pulling individual yellow blocks as they become available in the tray. You want to strip away the entire bottom layer of yellow tiles. Do not pull any standalone light blue or pink blocks yet because the ants cannot reach the colored tiles hidden inside the footprints. Just focus on clearing the yellow space.

Step 2: Clear the initial black outline and breach the feet

screenshot

Once the bottom yellow area disappears, your ants will bump directly into the thick black outlines of the footprints. You need to breach these borders to continue. Pull a black block from your tray and place it into one of your waiting slots. The ants will march up and start dismantling the black outline at the very bottom of both footprints. This is a critical moment for your board management. You must create an opening into the pink and light blue interiors before you pull any other colors. Wait patiently as the ants eat away the black tiles at the heel of the footprints. Once the black tiles vanish from the bottom edge, the soft colorful interiors become fully exposed and ready for your colony to enter.

Step 3: Collect the light blue key from the left footprint

Now you have a wide open path leading directly into the inside of the left footprint. It is time to grab that first key. Pull a light blue block into your waiting slots. You might already have a light blue block sitting in your slots from the Connected Boxes you pulled in the first step. The ants will flood into the left footprint through the gap in the black border and start eating the light blue tiles. They will quickly reach the spot holding the light blue key. Once the ants consume the specific tile resting underneath the key, the key flies down to your tray. This action unlocks the light blue locked blocks waiting at the bottom of your screen. Unlocking these blocks frees up more options and prevents your tray from getting permanently stuck.

Step 4: Secure the yellow key inside the right footprint

Your next target is the yellow key located on the right side of the board. Pull a pink block from your tray to send your ants into the right footprint. You have another set of Connected Boxes featuring a pink block that you can use right now. The ants will march through the broken black border and begin clearing the pink area. They will eat their way straight up to the yellow key. Securing this yellow key unlocks the corresponding locked yellow blocks in your tray. You now have full access to all the core colors you need to finish the puzzle.

Step 5: Reveal the hidden boxes and hollow out the footprints

screenshot

With both keys collected and your tray unlocked, the game opens up significantly. You will see several Hidden Box tiles reveal their true colors as the blocks above them get pulled. Some of these hidden elements turn out to be black blocks while others are yellow or pink. Continue pulling light blue and pink blocks to clear the center mass of both footprints. Always make sure you leave at least one empty slot in your waiting area. If you pull a black block too early it might sit in your slot waiting for a valid path to the toes. Hollowing out the main foot area gives your ants plenty of room to spread out. They will efficiently clear large chunks of pink and light blue tiles as you feed them the matching blocks.

Step 6: Route the ants up the sides to reach the top yellow background

screenshot

You still have a massive amount of yellow background surrounding the top and sides of the toes. Pull the newly unlocked yellow blocks from your tray to send your ants on a journey. The colony will travel around the outer edges of the footprints and climb all the way up the left and right sides of the board. This long march takes a few seconds so you must give them time to travel. Do not panic and pull random blocks if the numbers in your waiting slots are not dropping instantly. The ants are simply walking a very long distance to reach the top yellow area. Let them clear the sides and the top corners completely. Clearing this yellow space isolates the black borders and the colored toes in the center of the screen.

Step 7: Dismantle the black toes and remaining outlines

screenshot

The board is now mostly empty except for the toes floating at the top of the screen. These toes consist of black outlines filled with a few light blue and pink tiles. Pull a black block to start breaking down these isolated borders around the toes. The ants will attack the black outlines from all sides since they now have full access from the cleared yellow background. You will need to pull a few black blocks to clear all the thick borders entirely. Watch the numbers count down in your waiting slots as the ants do their work. As the black borders finally disappear, the tiny light blue and pink dots inside the toes become completely exposed.

Step 8: Clean up the final colored tiles to complete the board

Only a handful of tiles remain scattered on the screen at this point. Pull the last remaining light blue and pink blocks from your tray to clear the inside of the toes. Then pull one final yellow block if any background pieces managed to survive at the very top edge. The ants will easily reach these final pieces since there are no borders left to block their path. Once the ants consume the very last tile, your waiting slots will clear out and the remaining bugs will march off the board. You have successfully navigated the connected boxes and locked blocks to conquer this puzzle.

Final Thought

This stage requires careful slot management and a clear understanding of when to breach the borders. Take your time unlocking the keys and always verify your ants have a clear walking path before you pull a new color. Keep your waiting slots organized and you will clear the board with ease.
