Colony Flow Level 1260 challenges you with a beautiful pixel art picture of strawberries and a bee resting on a white grid. You need to manage a tray heavily loaded with connected boxes to feed your hungry colony. I will show you how to clear this board without jamming your waiting slots.

Colony Flow Level 1260 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board features a bright picture made of colored food tiles. You have three large strawberries colored in red and dark red. Green and light green leaves connect the fruit across the center of the board. A bee made of yellow and cyan hovers on the right side. Several yellow and cyan stars decorate the empty space. All of these colored objects sit on top of a massive white background grid that the ants also need to consume.

Your tray at the bottom holds the numbered blocks you need to clear the board. The main mechanic you face here is the connected boxes. Many blocks in your tray are linked together by thick white lines. When you tap one block in a connected group, every block in that group moves up to the waiting slots at the same time. You will see groups combining dark red blocks with high number white blocks. You must manage these connected pairs carefully so you never overwhelm the five waiting slots.

What It Takes to Clear Level 1260 Board

You win the level when the ants eat every single colored pixel and the entire white background. The ants enter the board from a nest hole at the bottom center. They will always walk along open paths to reach the nearest exposed food tile that matches a block in your waiting slots.

You lose if you fill all five waiting slots with colors the ants cannot currently reach. Because of the connected boxes, it is very easy to pull up a white block long before the ants have access to the white background. If you pull a connected pair and the ants cannot reach either color, you instantly lose two of your five precious slots. You clear this board by opening direct physical paths to the white background before you tap any connected boxes that contain white blocks.

Colony Flow Level 1260 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Clear the lowest dark red and yellow tiles to create entry points

Your first goal is to get the ants out of the nest and onto the board safely. The nest hole sits at the very bottom edge. The closest tiles to the nest are a yellow star and the bottom edges of the lower strawberries. Look at your tray and find individual yellow and dark red blocks that are not connected to any white blocks. Tap these single blocks to move them to the waiting slots. The colony will stream out of the nest and immediately start eating the yellow star and the dark red base of the fruit. The numbers on your blocks will count down as the ants consume the matching tiles. Keep an eye on the slots and wait for them to empty completely.

Step 2: Open access to the white background by finishing the bottom strawberries

Now you need to push the ants deeper into the board to expose the white background grid. The white tiles surround the fruit completely. You cannot clear white tiles until the ants eat a hole through the outer layer of the colored shapes. Tap the remaining independent red and dark red blocks in your tray. The ants will swarm the bottom left and bottom right strawberries. As they chew away the red fruit, the white grid behind the strawberries becomes an open path. Once you see ants walking directly next to the white background tiles, you are ready for the next phase.

Step 3: Use your first connected boxes to chew into the white grid

You can now safely tap the connected boxes in your tray. Find a dark red block that is connected to a white block by a white line. Tap either block to send both up to your waiting slots. Because you opened the path in the previous step, the ants will split their attention perfectly. Some ants will finish the remaining dark red pixels on the fruit while others will step directly onto the white grid and start eating the background. This keeps both blocks counting down at the same time. Your waiting slots remain clear and the board continues to open up.

Step 4: Chew through the green leaves in the center of the board

screenshot

A thick barrier of green and light green leaves stretches across the middle of the picture. This foliage blocks the ants from reaching the top half of the board. You must clear these leaves to give your colony a path upward. Look for the green and light green blocks in your tray. Tap them to fill your available waiting slots. The ants will march past the empty space where the bottom strawberries used to be and begin stripping the leaves. Watch the numbers on the green blocks drop rapidly as the ants consume the entire middle section of the plant.

Step 5: Handle the yellow and cyan bee on the right side

With the leaves gone, the upper right side of the board is completely open. The bee and the top right stars are made of yellow and cyan tiles. Find the yellow and cyan blocks in your tray and tap them. You might find some of these are connected boxes as well. Bring them up to the waiting slots. The ants will form a long trail up the right side of the screen. They will consume the bee and the stars quickly. This clears a massive section of the right side and opens even more access to the white background grid.

Step 6: Finish the top strawberry to remove the last colored obstacle

screenshot

The top left side of the board holds one large remaining strawberry and a few scattered stars. Find your remaining red, dark red, and cyan blocks. Tap them to send them to the waiting slots. The colony will shift its focus to the upper left corner. The ants will swarm the massive red fruit and the nearby cyan stars. Once they eat the last red pixel, the only thing left on the entire board will be the pure white background grid. You have successfully removed every colored obstacle without jamming your slots.

Step 7: Flood the remaining white background to finish the level

screenshot

Your tray now holds only large white blocks. Many of these final white blocks are connected to each other. Tap all of them to fill your waiting slots with white numbers. Because the colored objects are gone, the ants have unrestricted access to the entire perimeter of the white grid. You will see a massive wave of ants rush out of the nest and spread across the entire top edge of the board. The ants will consume the white background from all sides at once. The white blocks will drain to zero and you will win the level.

Final Thought

Level 1260 requires patience and a strict rule about when to pull connected boxes. The white lines in your tray are dangerous if you ignore the physical layout of the board. Always force the ants to eat through the outer colored layers first. Open a clear path to the white background before you commit to pulling any white blocks. If you find any single move hard to picture, you can watch the video above this article to see exactly how the colony flows through the board.
