Colony Flow Level 710 presents a beautiful pixel art picture of a wolf standing in a forest at night. You face a massive grid of bright green background tiles surrounding a colorful animal figure filled with dark purple trees. The dark purple legs contrast perfectly against the bright green field. I played this level several times to find the safest order of operations. You need a solid plan to keep your five waiting slots open while the ants dismantle the entire picture piece by piece. Managing your block choices is the only way to win this puzzle.

Colony Flow Level 710 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board features a central wolf figure composed of dark purple legs and lower body tiles. The wolf figure spans almost the entire width of your screen. Overlaid on this dark foundation are cyan and pink tree silhouettes that create a stunning visual effect. The cyan and pink tree shapes inside the body add an extra layer of complexity because they are completely blocked by the dark purple tiles on the outside. The head and upper back contain beige and orange layers to form the shape of the animal. Surrounding the entire figure is a huge field of green background tiles representing the grass and the night sky.

You will also notice a bright cyan key resting near the top center of the wolf back. This key connects to a locked cyan block sitting in your tray. You must collect that key with your ants before you can use the locked block. Your starting tray provides several high number blocks including a green thirty five a cyan twenty five and a dark purple thirty eight. Below those you have even more large blocks waiting to cycle in. The sheer volume of tiles means you will be pulling a lot of blocks to clear the screen.

What It Takes to Clear Level 710 Board

Clearing this board requires careful management of your five waiting slots. You must alternate between picking off the outer green background and carving into the dense central figure. If you pull too many blocks that target the inner colors before opening a clear path through the green tiles your slots will jam. A jam happens when all five slots are full of blocks that the ants cannot reach.

You win by sending ants to eat the key early on and then methodically matching blocks to the exposed colors until the entire picture disappears. You always want to keep at least one active path open. When you ensure that ants can always reach the colors you pull you will never hit a dead end. Planning your route from the bottom up is the absolute best way to finish this puzzle.

Colony Flow Level 710 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Open the lower paths using dark purple and green blocks.

To begin you need to create space on the board and establish a steady flow of ants from the nest. Look at the lower legs of the wolf and the green grass beneath them. Pull the dark purple thirty eight block and the green thirty five block into your waiting slots. The ants will immediately stream out of the nest hole and start eating the dark purple paws and the bottom edge of the green grass. This initial move is incredibly safe because both colors are directly exposed to the open area at the bottom. You will notice that pulling the green thirty five block clears a massive chunk of the bottom right corner. This gives your ants a direct line of sight to the higher parts of the board. The dark purple thirty eight block handles the front and back legs equally well. As the ants consume these tiles the numbers on your blocks will count down rapidly. You want to add a cyan block to the tray as soon as the dark purple legs clear enough space to reveal the cyan tree trunks. Doing this keeps your ants busy and ensures you never leave a block sitting idle in your slots.

Step 2: Clear the pink tree layers to approach the cyan key.

With the bottom edge opening up you can now target the middle section of the picture. The cyan and pink tree shapes overlap deeply inside the dark purple body. The pink branches weave between the cyan trunks creating a dense barrier. As the dark purple tiles vanish your ants get closer to the core. Pull a pink block and another dark purple block into your slots. The ants will climb up the partially eaten legs and begin eating the pink branches. Pulling a pink block sends a dedicated group of ants straight up the legs. They will chew away the branches and reveal the exact path you need. You will notice a cyan key tile resting just above this area on the back of the wolf. Your primary goal right now is to clear a path to that key because a locked cyan block is waiting in your tray. Monitor the progress of your ants carefully as they chew through the pink layer. Do not pull the locked cyan block yet or it will just take up space in your waiting slots and risk a jam. Wait patiently until the pink tiles directly adjacent to the key disappear completely.

Step 3: Collect the key and activate the locked cyan block.

Once the pink tiles recede the cyan key becomes fully accessible to your ants. The cyan key is a small tile but it controls your access to a huge portion of the board. Leaving the locked cyan block in your tray for too long restricts your options. By using a small green block to clear the grass near the key you create a direct tunnel for the ants. Pull a small green block into your tray to clear out any remaining grass blocking the upper back of the wolf. The ants will snatch the key and automatically unlock the cyan block in your tray. Once the key is collected the lock animation plays and you regain full control of your tray choices. Now you can safely pull that unlocked cyan block into a waiting slot. The ants will surge forward and eat the remaining cyan tree branches spreading across the middle of the picture. Proper timing of the key collection prevents dead ends and keeps your slot rotation moving smoothly. Always make sure a color is completely exposed and accessible before committing its block to the tray. Moving too early is a guaranteed way to fill your slots and lose the level.

Step 4: Sweep the right side green background to open a new route.

The center of the board is now much less cluttered but you still have a massive amount of green background taking up space. Look to the right side of the screen where a large block of green tiles surrounds the tail area. Pull two green blocks into your tray. You want blocks with values around nine or thirty two to handle this large cluster. The ants will wrap around the back of the wolf and devour the green field. This right side sweep is a massive relief for your waiting slots. When you clear the green tiles you remove the biggest obstacle on the board. The ants no longer have to navigate a maze of purple and pink paths. They just march straight up the right edge. This action opens up a huge superhighway for your ants to travel around the right flank. Leaving the green tiles for too long forces your ants to squeeze through narrow central gaps which slows them down and increases the chance of a slot jam. Clearing the right flank entirely prevents this issue and prepares the board for the final stages.

Step 5: Dismantle the beige and orange head and upper body layers.

Now direct your attention to the top left of the picture where the wolf head sits. This area consists of beige and orange layers overlapping each other. The head of the wolf is completely isolated from the lower legs. If you ignore the right side path your ants will crawl at a snails pace. Pull a beige block and an orange block into your empty slots. Pulling the beige and orange blocks activates the head section. The ants will flow seamlessly up your new superhighway. They will march up the newly cleared right flank and cross over to the head. They will strip away the beige and orange tiles very quickly. Be careful not to pull these colors before the right flank is clear. If you try to eat the head too early the ants will have to walk all the way through the tangled purple legs which takes a long time. Giving them a clear wide path around the outside ensures they clear the beige and orange tiles rapidly. This keeps your waiting slots cycling and your board wide open.

Step 6: Clear the massive green sky section at the top of the board.

screenshot

Only the top section of the green background and a few scattered body tiles remain. This green sky area requires your highest numbered green blocks. The top edge of the board is entirely green sky. With the body mostly gone your ants spread out like a fan. Pull a green fifty block and a green thirty four block into your slots. Pulling the green fifty block clears almost the entire top left corner. The green thirty four block mops up the top right. Because you already cleared the entire right side and the head the ants have unrestricted access to the entire top edge of the board. They will swarm the green tiles and rapidly reduce the numbers on your blocks. You can sit back and watch as the massive swarm of ants completely overtakes the remaining green space. You can also pull a small dark purple block and a small cyan block into the remaining slots to clean up any stray tiles left behind in the body area. Having multiple colors active at the same time is perfectly safe here because the board is wide open and no dead ends exist.

Step 7: Mop up the scattered remaining tiles to finish the level.

screenshot

The picture is now almost completely gone leaving only a few disconnected tiles scattered around the board. Endgame boards always look messy with random colors scattered around. You might see a dark purple tile near the nose and a pink tile near the tail. You will see a couple of pink tiles a single cyan tile and a small cluster of dark purple tiles. Look at your tray and select the exact small numbered blocks that match these remnants. Match your final blocks to these exact stragglers. Pull a dark purple fifteen block a pink block and a cyan block to match what is left on the board. The dark purple fifteen block handles the last bits of the legs. The ants will rush out to grab these final pieces. Since there are no obstacles left they will take the shortest straight path to their targets. Once the ants carry the very last tile down into the nest the level ends in a victory and you are ready for the next challenge.
