Colony Flow Level 1240 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board displays a highly detailed mushroom village scene set against a night sky. You see large red and orange mushroom caps sitting directly above small houses with lit windows. A dark purple and dark blue sky fills the entire top half of the board. A solid thick purple border surrounds the entire picture and traps the village inside. Down in your block tray you face a massive pile of blocks featuring very high numbers. You will pull plenty of blocks carrying sixty or more ants. You also have to manage a very dangerous mechanic known as connected boxes. These are special block groups linked together by thick cords. When you pull one connected box up to the waiting slots the rest of the chain follows right behind it automatically. This action takes up multiple slots at once and leaves you with almost zero room for error. If you pull a connected box chain at the wrong time you will fill all five waiting slots and instantly lose the level.

What It Takes to Clear Level 1240 Board

Winning this specific board requires perfect timing and careful management of your five waiting slots when dealing with the connected boxes. The ants spawn from a single round hole at the bottom center of the screen. They must travel all the way up the left and right sides to start eating the sky tiles at the top. Since you only have five slots available you absolutely cannot afford to pull a chain of three connected boxes unless you know for sure the ants have a wide open path to those exact tile colors. You must clear the top sky section entirely before you do anything else. This exposes the upper mushroom caps and gives your ants shorter travel distances. From there you work your way down the red mushroom roofs and eat the dark black outlines of the houses. Finally you unleash your ants on the massive purple border enclosing the entire village. You win when the picture completely disappears and your slots remain open.

Colony Flow Level 1240 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Focus on clearing the dark purple night sky tiles.

You need to start your game by pulling the dark blue and black blocks to clear out the huge night sky. Send the dark blue sixty block and the black twenty block up to your waiting slots. The ants will rapidly emerge from the bottom spawn hole and travel up both the left and right outer walls of the board to reach the top corners. Keep your eyes carefully locked on their travel paths. Once the dark blue tiles start vanishing you should pull the dark blue fifty one block into the active tray. This second blue block provides enough ants to eat away a massive chunk of the top left sky. You keep your slots safe by letting these extremely large numbers drain completely to zero before you pull anything else from the pile below.

Step 2: Feed the ants the orange colors for the central mushroom cap.

With the dark sky finally opening up you can begin feeding the ants the bright red and orange colors they need for the giant mushroom sitting in the middle. Pull the brown sixty two block and the orange forty block up to your active slots. The ants will march straight up the sides and pour directly onto the curved roof of the central house structure. Pulling the purple fourteen block next clears out the small decorative details sitting around the cap edges. You must leave plenty of time for the ants to cross the long distance from the bottom spawn hole all the way to the top of the picture. Do not crowd the waiting slots with random colors. Let the ants finish eating their current colors so the slots empty out naturally and make room for your next moves.

Step 3: Remove the pink and blue background sections between the houses.

The sky holds several different shades of blue and pink tiles that block your downward progress. Pull the blue forty block and the pink thirty eight block into your tray. The ants will target the remaining sky tiles nestled tightly between the tall mushroom stems. You will see a blue twelve block and a black twenty nine block sitting in your lower pile. Bring them up to the active slots as soon as the pink block finishes counting down to zero. The ants quickly swarm and clear the tight spaces between the separate houses. This specific sequence opens up the necessary walking paths your ants need to reach the lower roofs of the village. You never want to block the ants from reaching the center.

Step 4: Pull the massive chain of connected black boxes carefully.

Your tray now reveals multiple black sixty blocks linked firmly together as connected boxes. This represents the most dangerous moment on the entire board. You absolutely must wait until the dark outlines of the lower mushroom houses are fully exposed before you pull this chain. Once the red and orange tiles directly above the houses disappear you can safely pull the connected black boxes. Three black blocks will instantly fill your waiting slots the moment you tap them. The ants will aggressively swarm the thick black outlines dividing the individual houses. Because you waited patiently for an open path the large numbers will drop very fast. The blocks will vanish entirely before your slots can jam up and ruin your game.

Step 5: Eat away the main stems and dark windows of the structures.

The black structural outlines are completely gone and the colorful houses are fully exposed for your ants to clear. Pull the brown thirty two block and another set of connected boxes containing a black forty eight block. The ants flood the entire bottom half of the puzzle board. They easily eat the thick brown stems and the dark colored windows of the central village buildings. Keep pulling the pink four block and the yellow eight block to clear the tiny decorative details scattered around the doors. The board looks much cleaner now. Your ants have much shorter travel times since they are eating tiles located right above their spawn hole. This makes managing your tray much easier.

Step 6: Clear the smaller right side mushroom house completely.

You have a distinct cluster of tiles left on the right side forming a smaller mushroom building. Pull the brown sixty six block to send a massive wave of ants straight to the right corner of the board. Add the purple six block and the pink one block to finish off the leftover roof pieces. The ants easily walk over the large empty spaces left behind by the central houses you already cleared. Watch the brown number count down steadily as the ants eat the stem. You always want to keep one or two empty slots in your active tray just in case the ants take slightly longer than expected to reach a far corner.

Step 7: Dismantle the thick outer purple border wrapping the picture.

screenshot

Only the thick outer frame of the picture and a few scattered tiles remain at this late stage. The most obvious massive target is the solid purple border wrapping entirely around the screen. Look down in your tray and pull the massive purple one hundred seven block. This single block holds more than enough ants to clear almost the entire outer border by itself. The ants will split off at the spawn hole and run in completely opposite directions to eat the left and right sides of the solid frame. Do not pull any other large numbers while this giant purple block drains. Let the ants do their heavy work and watch the massive purple line shrink away into nothing.

Step 8: Finish the remaining bottom red tiles to win the game.

You are now in the final stretch with just a few colorful tiles lingering near the bottom edge. Bring up the red eighty five block and the brown twelve block to feed your remaining ants. The ants will easily reach these final tiles because they sit right directly above the spawn hole. A tiny pink two block and a small black two block will finish off the absolute last pieces of the puzzle board. The ants quickly clear the remaining stubborn bits of the lower border and the picture completely disappears from the screen. You win the board and keep your winning streak alive.

Final Thought

Colony Flow Level 1240 tests your patience and your ability to manage connected boxes under pressure. Taking your time and letting the ants clear the long paths first guarantees you will never jam your tray. I know this board demands precision so please watch the video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text. Seeing the ants move in real time makes the correct block order crystal clear.
