Colony Flow Level 413 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board features a recognizable creature with a round pink body, light blue ears, and a yellow beak. A solid brown background frames the entire figure like a picture. The creature has a dark red tuft of hair on top and big white and black eyes that stare straight ahead. The most critical details on the board are the colorful keys resting firmly on the beak and eyes. You will see a bright yellow key sitting on the beak, along with blue, green, and pink keys scattered across the face tiles. These keys match up directly with locked blocks in your tray at the bottom of the screen. Until you clear the specific tiles holding those keys, the locked blocks will not budge no matter what you do. The tray also holds several connected boxes. These are blocks linked together by a thick solid line. You have to pull them into the waiting slots as a complete group. This takes up multiple slots at once, requiring very careful planning so you do not accidentally fill your tray.

What It Takes to Clear Level 413 Board

Winning this level requires you to carefully manage your five waiting slots while digging into the pink body to grab those keys. If you pull too many blocks that the ants cannot reach right away, your slots will jam and you will lose the game entirely. Your goal is to start at the bottom edges where the ants first appear. You will chew through the pink body and light blue feet to open paths upward. Once you secure the keys, your tray opens up fully. From there you work your way through the top half of the head, the ears, and finally the thick brown border. Always keep at least one active color in your slots so the ants never stop moving.

Colony Flow Level 413 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Clear out the bottom edges and the feet first to open the board.

You want to start by attacking the lowest tiles on the board right where the action begins. The ants stream out of the nest hole at the bottom and can immediately reach the bottom rows of the pink body and the two light blue feet. Look closely at your tray and pull up a pink block and a light blue block to get things moving. The ants will quickly swarm the lower section and start erasing those tiles piece by piece. As the pink numbers tick down, go ahead and pull another pink block to keep the momentum going strong. You need to carve a wide opening at the very base so the ants can travel further up into the center of the creature without any bottlenecks. Make absolutely sure you do not pull any dark red or yellow blocks at this time. The ants cannot reach the tuft or the beak at this early stage because other tiles block the way. Pulling those colors now would just clog your waiting slots and trap you early on. Stick exclusively to pink and light blue until the entire bottom quarter of the picture is completely gone. This steady approach ensures you always have an open path for your colony.

Step 2: Push your ants upward to grab the yellow key from the beak.

With the bottom area entirely cleared out, your ants now have direct unobstructed access to the center of the face. You will notice the yellow beak holds that very important yellow key. This key is your next major target because a bright yellow block in your tray is completely locked down. Pull a yellow block into your waiting slots along with a black block to begin the next phase. The ants will march right up the empty space you just created and begin eating the yellow beak and the bottom edges of the black eyes. As the yellow tiles disappear from the board, the ants automatically collect the yellow key for you. You will hear a satisfying click and see the yellow lock vanish from your tray completely. This frees up more options for you to use moving forward. Keep a very close eye on your waiting slots during this process. You should have plenty of room as the black and yellow blocks count down rapidly and leave the slots. You are now steadily working your way through the exact middle of the picture.

Step 3: Collect the remaining keys from the black and white eye tiles.

Now that the beak is gone, the ants can easily spread out to the left and right sides of the face. There are still bright blue, green, and pink keys sitting securely on the white and black sections of the eyes. Pull a white block and another black block into your waiting slots to clear out the remaining eye tiles. As the ants consume these specific tiles, they will automatically grab the rest of the colorful keys. You will see the blue, green, and pink locks pop off their corresponding blocks in the tray one by one. Unlocking these blocks is absolutely crucial because you need them to clear the upper sections of the ears and body later on. By focusing entirely on grabbing the keys right now, you prevent a frustrating situation where you desperately need a color but cannot access it. Your tray is now fully unlocked and you can freely choose the best blocks for the next critical phase.

Step 4: Manage the connected boxes carefully to avoid filling your waiting slots.

As you look down at your tray again, you will see a black block connected to another black block by a thick heavy line. You will also spot a light blue block connected directly to a white block. Dealing with connected boxes requires extra caution because they take up two waiting slots at the exact same time. Wait patiently until your slots are almost entirely empty before you pull the double black blocks. The ants are already positioned near the black eye pieces, so they will immediately start working on the black blocks without hesitation. Once those clear out and vanish, you can safely pull the connected light blue and white blocks. The ants will use the light blue block to eat the lower parts of the large ears and the white block to finish off the remaining bits of the eyes. Planning your pulls carefully around these connected boxes keeps your slots from overflowing and ruining your run. Always ensure you have at least two empty slots before pulling any connected blocks so you do not hit a sudden dead end.

Step 5: Erase the top half of the pink body to create wide open paths.

The face of the creature is mostly gone, leaving only the very top section of the pink body, the dark red tuft, and the massive light blue ears. Your tray contains several large pink blocks just waiting to be used. Pull a pink block with a high number into a waiting slot and watch the colony go to work. The ants will rush up the board and sweep across the remaining pink tiles very quickly. This action completely separates the dark red tuft from the rest of the board tiles. You now have a incredibly wide open space right in the middle of the screen. The ants can travel freely to the left or right side without getting stuck behind anything. This massive clear out is highly satisfying to watch and gives you a lot of much needed breathing room. Your waiting slots will empty out very quickly as the large pink block vanishes. You are now fully ready to tackle the highest parts of the creature.

Step 6: Attack the dark red tuft and start chipping away at the brown background.

With the massive pink body entirely out of the way, pull a dark red block to target the small tuft of hair at the very top center. At the exact same time, pull a brown block to start chipping away at the thick brown frame surrounding the entire creature. The ants will split up into two highly efficient groups. One group will head straight up the middle to eat the dark red tiles while another group will start chewing on the inner edges of the brown background. Keeping two completely different colors active at this stage is a very effective strategy. It keeps the ants constantly busy and ensures the blocks in your slots count down rapidly. The brown border is quite large and thick, so do not hesitate to pull another brown block as soon as the first one drops to a low single digit number. You want to maintain a constant endless stream of ants attacking that thick outer frame.

Step 7: Clear the remaining light blue ears from the top corners of the board.

screenshot

The only parts of the creature left are the two large light blue ears sticking out near the top left and right corners. Pull a light blue block to direct your ants toward these remaining ears. They will march all the way up the sides and start eating away the light blue tiles with purpose. Since the ears are positioned so high up on the board, the ants have a much longer distance to travel from the nest hole. This means the numbers on your light blue block will tick down a bit slower than before. To perfectly balance this out, pull another brown block to keep the other ants working hard on the background tiles. This dual approach ensures your slots stay fluid and never back up. By the time the light blue block is completely finished, the ears will be totally gone. Only the solid brown background will remain on the board.

Step 8: Finish off the final brown border tiles to completely clear the screen.

You are now in the very final stretch of the level. The entire creature has been erased from existence, leaving only scattered patches of the brown background along the top edge and the very highest corners. Your tray is full of brown blocks with rather high numbers. Pull two brown blocks into your waiting slots to unleash a massive final wave of ants. They will run all the way up the empty screen to the top border and systematically eat the remaining brown tiles. Keep watching the board closely and pull one more brown block if you see you need it to finish the job. The ants will clean up the very last corner tiles without any issues. Once the final brown tile disappears from view, the board goes completely blank and you win the level decisively. Managing your tray space properly from the very beginning makes this ending smooth and entirely stress free.

Final Thought

Colony Flow Level 413 is a great test of how well you can manage your waiting slots while hunting down multiple keys. The key to success is patience and clearing the board row by row from the bottom up. By unlocking your tray early and handling the connected blocks carefully, you keep the ants moving and the board clear. If you find any of these steps tricky to picture, I highly recommend watching the video above this article to see exactly how I executed the moves. Keep feeding your colony and I will see you in the next puzzle.
