Colony Flow Level 573 gives you a massive spiral galaxy puzzle to solve. You have a beautiful mix of bright colors surrounded by deep space. Managing your board space and the five waiting slots is critical to beat this puzzle. I found this level incredibly satisfying once the galaxy starts to open up.

Colony Flow Level 573 Overview

What You Are Working With

The picture is a swirling galaxy. The background is completely made of thousands of dark purple tiles that fill the screen. The beautiful spiral arms feature cyan, blue, magenta, pink, and white tiles. Two Hungry Doors sit at the very bottom corners of the board. They start with a massive requirement of 594 tiles each. Your tray is full of blocks with large numbers on them. Many of them are dark purple to match the vast space background. You also have Connected Boxes where two dark purple blocks link tightly together. Hidden Boxes sit lower in the tray and keep their color a total secret until you clear the blocks resting directly above them.

What It Takes to Clear Level 573 Board

You win when you clear every pixel from the board and the ants finish their routes. The biggest hurdle is the pair of Hungry Doors. You must clear all the required dark purple tiles to open those doors. Your five waiting slots fill up fast if you pull colors that cannot reach the board. You lose if all five slots fill and no ants can clean the tiles. You must balance clearing the deep space background with eating the bright spiral arms. Keep at least one clear path open so your waiting slots never jam.

Colony Flow Level 573 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Focus on the dark purple background to feed the Hungry Doors.

You need to address the massive deep space background immediately. Tap the dark purple blocks from the top row of your tray. A huge stream of dark purple ants will pour out of the central nest hole. They will march straight into the thickest part of the background tiles. As they eat the tiles the numbers on both Hungry Doors will start to count down rapidly from 594. This clears physical space on the board and brings new colorful blocks down in your tray. Keep pulling single dark purple blocks to maintain a steady relentless flow of ants. Make sure you do not pull a block if its color has no open path to the board. The dark purple paths are wide open right from the start.

Step 2: Pull the cyan blocks to open the outer spiral arms.

The dark purple ants will expose the outer edges of the galaxy. You will quickly see cyan tiles open up along the left side. Tap a cyan block to send ants to those tiles. This action removes the cyan block from your tray and frees up space in your five waiting slots. You must alternate between dark purple and cyan to keep your slots clear. If you just pull dark purple blocks you will reveal other colors in the tray that you cannot use yet. Bringing cyan into the mix keeps the board active and prevents a dangerous bottleneck in your waiting area.

Step 3: Move the connected dark purple boxes to clear huge chunks of space.

You will spot Connected Boxes in your tray as you clear the top rows. Two dark purple blocks link together and you must pull them as a single connected pair. Tap the connected dark purple boxes to drop them into your waiting slots. They will take up two slots at once. This is a very safe move right now because the space background is huge and completely accessible. The ants will swarm the board and eat massive chunks of the background. The numbers on the Hungry Doors will drop significantly. You will see the doors drop down into the two hundreds. Clearing these connected boxes is mandatory to reach the other colorful blocks buried underneath them.

Step 4: Reveal the hidden boxes in the lower tray.

Clearing the connected boxes removes the covers from the Hidden Boxes lower in the tray. These boxes show question marks instead of numbers. They hide their color until they reach the top of the tray. Watch closely as the question marks flip over. You will discover cyan and magenta blocks hiding in those spots. Tap the newly revealed cyan blocks immediately. The ants will rush to the left side of the spiral and carve out a large curved path. This opens up even more of the galaxy core. Always prioritize blocks that have a direct and immediate route to the food tiles.

Step 5: Target the white and pink galaxy core.

As the ants eat away the outer cyan and blue layers the bright center of the galaxy becomes fully available. The core features pure white and soft pink tiles. Tap the white blocks and pink blocks from your tray when they reach the top row. The white ants will stream straight into the very center of the spiral. The pink ants will follow right behind them to eat the surrounding core tiles. Managing the center is vital because it opens up the inner curved paths of the blue and magenta arms. Always leave at least one waiting slot completely open when you tap these core colors. Do not trap yourself by pulling a blue color that is fully blocked by the white core.

Step 6: Send ants to the scattered red stars and outer blue details.

The picture has scattered red tiles near the edges that look like tiny stars. Tap the red blocks to clear these isolated pieces. You must do this carefully. Pulling a red block too early will trap it in a waiting slot. Only tap the red blocks when the dark purple background is clear enough to give the red ants a straight path. Once the red ants start working you can pull the blue blocks to clear the thick outer bands of the spiral. The blue ants will sweep along the left side and carve away a massive section of the picture. This keeps your board flowing smoothly.

Step 7: Clear the remaining dark purple blocks to finish the Hungry Doors.

You will reach the bottom of the dark purple blocks in your tray eventually. Tap the last few dark purple blocks to send your final waves of dark purple ants. They will eat the remaining background tiles on the right side of the board. This action drops the Hungry Door numbers to zero. The doors will finally open and clear out of the way. This is a major milestone for the puzzle. You no longer have to worry about the massive space background. You can dedicate all five of your waiting slots entirely to the remaining bright colors in the spiral.

Step 8: Send magenta and cyan ants to the inner spiral arms.

The board is mostly empty at this late stage. You only have a few thin sweeping lines of magenta and cyan left in the spiral. Tap the magenta blocks from your tray. The magenta ants will march straight into the lower sections of the spiral arms. Tap the cyan blocks right after them. The cyan ants will wrap all the way around the top curve of the galaxy. Monitor your tray closely here. You might reveal a final Hidden Box. If the hidden box turns out to be cyan or magenta you are in perfect shape. Keep pulling the matching colors to keep the board entirely clear.

Step 9: Clean up the final colorful fragments to win the level.

Only a handful of blocks remain in your tray for the final stretch. You will see a small mix of blue, red, cyan, and magenta blocks. Tap them one by one. Watch the paths to ensure the ants can reach the final pixel fragments. The blue ants will finish the upper tip of the spiral. The red ants will grab the last scattered stars along the border. The remaining cyan and magenta ants will eat the very last pieces of the galaxy core. Your waiting slots will empty out. The ants will finish their routes and you will clear the board entirely.

Final Thought

Level 573 requires patience and careful slot management. Taking down the massive background first is the only way to succeed. Watch the video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text. Seeing the ants clear the galaxy in motion will help you perfect your strategy.
