Colony Flow Level 720 drops you into a massive puzzle featuring a colorful pixel art cat surrounded by a dark starry sky and a thick checkered border. You have to manage your tray space carefully right from the start because connected boxes will take up multiple slots at once. You will command your ants to clear the bright gradient colors of the cat before moving outward to chew through the massive background and the heavy frame. Keep a close eye on your open paths so your colony can always reach the food tiles without jamming your waiting area.
Colony Flow Level 720 Overview
What You Are Working With
The main picture shows a large cat built with a color gradient. The tail and back legs are bright pink shifting into cyan and green across the middle body. The front chest and head turn into yellow orange and red tiles. Behind the cat is a vast dark background sprinkled with a few white star sparkles. The entire image is wrapped in a thick frame made of alternating black and white squares. Down in your tray you will find single colored blocks and several connected boxes. The connected boxes are linked together and will move to your waiting slots as a single unit taking up two spaces at the exact same time.
What It Takes to Clear Level 720 Board
Winning this board requires you to dismantle the cat from the inside out while managing the connected blocks in your tray. You will send your ants to eat the bright colors of the cat first because those tiles are closest to the nest hole and provide immediate open paths. Once the center body is gone you must shift your focus to the heavy black background. You will systematically pull black and white blocks to clear the night sky and the outer frame. You win when every single tile is eaten and the board is completely empty without filling all five of your waiting slots.
Colony Flow Level 720 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Open the front of the cat with orange and green connected blocks.
You start this board with connected boxes sitting right at the front of your tray. You have an orange block and a green block tied together by a thick cord. When you pull one into the waiting slots the other comes with it automatically taking up two of your five available spaces. Tap the orange block to bring both up. Your ants will immediately rush out of the nest hole and head toward the right side of the picture. They start clearing the orange tiles on the nose and face of the cat. Once the orange is out of the way the green tiles on the front legs become available for the ants to eat. The numbers on your blocks will steadily count down as the colony carries the food away. Wait until these numbers drop significantly before you make your next move so you do not fill your tray and lose.
Step 2: Deploy pink and black connected blocks for the tail and background.
Once your first blocks are nearly empty you need to open up the left side of the board. Look at your tray and find the connected pair made of a pink block and a black block. Tap the pink block to pull both of them up into your waiting slots. The ants will split their attention right away. A large group will march left to begin eating the bright pink tiles that form the back legs and the curved tail of the cat. Another group will spread out into the dark background right next to the tail. The black block has a very high number so it will stay in your slot for a long time. This is exactly why you must let your previous orange and green blocks finish completely. If you bring up too many blocks at once you will dead end the board and fail the level.
Step 3: Clear more dark background with a single black block.
The dark space behind the cat takes up a huge portion of the board and requires constant work. You will see a single black block in your tray with a high number. Bring it up to the waiting area. Your ants will swarm all over the top and sides of the cat to chew through the dark background tiles. This opens up a lot of surface area which is great for keeping paths available. Having a wide open background means your ants will rarely get stuck trying to find a matching tile. Watch the black block count down. You want to make sure the ants keep a steady flow going so the slots empty out quickly. Do not touch any other blocks until this black block is at least half empty.
Step 4: Use cyan and white blocks to target the belly and sparkles.
Now it is time to focus on the blue section of the cat and the white sparkles scattered in the background. Pull a cyan block from the tray first. The ants will head to the lower belly and back legs of the cat to clear those bright blue tiles. Right after the cyan block starts draining pull a white block into the waiting area. The white block serves two purposes here. It allows the ants to eat the white star sparkles in the sky and it also starts opening up the checkered border at the bottom edge of the screen. Keep an eye on the five waiting slots. You should have a nice balance of black cyan and white draining at the same time. This keeps multiple paths active and prevents a jam.
Step 5: Bring up another pink and black connected pair to clear the left side.
You will reach a point where the pink tail is only half gone and the dark background on the left still needs attention. Locate the next connected pair of pink and black blocks in your lower tray. Bring them up into your waiting slots. Since these two blocks are linked they will instantly occupy two spaces. Your ants will rush back to the left side of the board to finish off the tip of the tail and the remaining dark spots near the edge. The pink block will drain very fast because there are only a few tail tiles left. The black block will take over and keep the ants busy. Make sure you let the pink block disappear completely before you think about grabbing anything else from the tray.
Step 6: Feed the center body with green and cyan blocks.
The middle section of the cat is a mix of green and blue tiles that still need clearing. Pull a large green block and a cyan block from your tray. The ants will flood the center of the board. They will eat the green tiles right behind the front legs and the cyan tiles near the middle back. This clears out the core of the pixel art picture completely. You will see the entire shape of the cat disappear leaving only a massive empty space in the middle surrounded by the checkered border. This is a great position to be in because you have maximum pathing available. The ants can run anywhere they want without hitting a dead end.
Step 7: Clear the outer frame using the final black and white blocks.
The only thing left on the board is the thick checkered border wrapping around the very edge. This border is entirely made of alternating black and white tiles. Your tray is now full of single black and white blocks. Start pulling them up one by one but do not fill all five waiting slots at the same time. Bring up one black block and one white block. Watch the ants crawl all the way to the perimeter of the screen to eat the border. When one block empties completely pull another one of the same color to replace it. Keep this alternating rhythm going. The ants will circle the empty center space and chew through the remaining frame until the entire screen is clear.
Final Thought
Playing this board is all about pacing your tray pulls and respecting the space that connected boxes demand. If you ever feel stuck on how the ants path around the dark background or when exactly to pull those linked blocks refer back to the video above this article. Watching the exact timing of the blocks in motion will help you keep your paths wide open and claim your victory.
