Welcome to Colony Flow Level 35. You face a beautiful pixel art picture of an open envelope stuffed with white daisies against a massive solid purple background. The puzzle looks peaceful from the start but the block tray brings some challenging connected boxes that require careful timing. You must manage your five waiting slots perfectly to let the ants do their job without causing a jam. I play every stage to map out the safest routes and this board requires you to carve inward from the edges while keeping a close eye on your available paths.
Colony Flow Level 35 Overview
What You Are Working With
The board features a huge section of purple background tiles wrapped around the entire top half of the screen. Below that background sits a dark grey and brown envelope overflowing with bright white flower petals, yellow flower centers, and green leaves. The outer edges give your ant colony plenty of entry points to start eating right away. Your tray contains standard colored number blocks and several special connected boxes. Connected boxes link two different colors or two identical colors together with a thick solid bar. They take up two waiting slots at once in your row. You cannot clear them completely until both colors have a valid path on the puzzle board.
What It Takes to Clear Level 35 Board
You clear this level by matching all the tray blocks to the specific colored picture tiles on the screen. The ants stream out of their nest hole at the bottom and hunt for open paths that match the blocks you place in the five waiting slots. You must prioritize the outer tiles first to carve paths inward toward the center details. If you pull too many blocks that have no open path, your five slots will fill up completely. A full row with zero active moving ants ends your game immediately. You succeed by balancing the massive purple background pulls with the smaller delicate detail colors inside the envelope.
Colony Flow Level 35 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Clear the outer edges of the background and the envelope bottom
The level starts with massive surface area exposed on the purple background and the grey envelope bottom. Pull the first white block and the connected purple and black box into your waiting slots. The ants immediately swarm the massive purple top section and the dark grey bottom edge. The purple side of the connected box counts down very quickly because the entire top half of the board is wide open. The black side waits harmlessly for darker details inside the daisies to open up later. Because the purple path is so wide open, your waiting slots stay entirely safe from a complete jam. Add another white block to start eating away the outer daisy petals on the left and right sides.
Step 2: Dig deep into the white petals to reach the flower centers
With the outer purple background shrinking away, your ants need new targets to keep the momentum going. The thick white petals currently block access to the inner green leaves and the yellow flower centers. Bring up a large white block from the tray to keep the ants moving inward. As the white petals vanish under the colony swarm, you expose the yellow and orange center tiles. Do not pull the green blocks just yet. Keep your focus entirely on reducing the sheer number of white tiles. A massive block of white petals sits right in the middle of the envelope opening and you must clear this middle section to reach the stems hiding below.
Step 3: Manage the tray traffic while clearing the first green leaves
The white petals are now mostly gone and the shape of the envelope is very clear. You finally have a direct open path to the green leaves and the bright yellow envelope flap. Pull a green block into the waiting row alongside a fresh white block. The ants split their attention beautifully between the remaining white petals and the bright green leaves sticking out on the right side. Watch your five slots closely during this transition phase. The black side of your early connected box might still be sitting there taking up space. Always make sure at least one active color is counting down rapidly. If you pull an orange block before the tiny orange tiles are fully exposed, you risk ending your game.
Step 4: Work down the yellow envelope flap using identical connected boxes
A new threat emerges from the tray with a pair of connected yellow boxes. The yellow daisy centers and the yellow triangular envelope flap are now wide open for the taking. Pull the connected yellow boxes up into your active row. They consume two of your five slots instantly. The ants flood the yellow flower centers and chew through the envelope flap at the same time. Because both boxes are the exact same color, the ants pull numbers from both simultaneously without any pathing issues. The yellow tiles melt away fast and this quick clear frees up your slots for the next wave of tray colors.
Step 5: Clear the brown bottom details and the remaining green spots
The bottom half of the board becomes quite sparse at this point. Only scattered brown dots, a few isolated green leaves, and some orange spots remain visible inside the envelope body. Pull a brown block to target the shaded areas near the bottom edge of the envelope. Add a small green block to finish off the leftover leaf details on the far left side. The ants have very short paths to walk now because these tiles sit close to the nest hole. They hit the brown and green tiles quickly and drain the numbers from your tray. The board looks a bit messy with lots of isolated pixels scattered around, but every isolated pixel now has a fully open path.
Step 6: Tackle the top purple strip and prepare for the final push
The purple background has been pushed all the way to the very top edge of the screen. The ants must walk a very long way from the nest hole to reach these distant purple tiles. Pull a large purple block to get the ants moving up the sides of the screen. While the ants march all the way to the top edge, use your remaining tray slots to pull an orange block and a black block. The orange dots map to the deepest parts of the flower centers. The black dots sit right next to them forming shadow details. Keep your slots balanced carefully here. Allow the ants plenty of time to finish the long walk to the purple top before you flood the active row with too many other colors.
Step 7: Solve the orange and black connected box puzzle
Your tray reveals another connected box combining orange and black numbers. You must have paths open for both colors to survive this specific pull. Fortunately, your previous hard work cleared everything surrounding the orange and black tiles inside the flower centers. Pull the connected box up into your row. The ants easily access the tiny black and orange spots scattered across the middle of the board. Both sides of the connected box drop their numbers steadily as the ants eat the small clusters. Your slots remain totally safe because the ants never stop eating. Add a small white block to the row to grab the last few stray petals resting near the top.
Step 8: Clean up the final scattered pixels to finish the board
Only a handful of tiles remain on the entire screen now. A tiny sliver of purple clings to the top right corner. A few white petals and green dots sit near the exact middle of the open space. Pull your final blocks from the tray to match these exact leftover colors. The ants finish their last meal and the board clears completely. You survived the tricky connected boxes by always carving a safe path before pulling them into your row. The envelope disappears and you secure the victory screen.
Final Thought
This board tests your patience with connected boxes and very long ant travel times. The main key is simply matching your tray pulls to the most exposed colors on the screen at any given moment. You must respect the distance the ants have to travel to reach the top purple background. If you ever feel stuck on a specific section of the flowers or the envelope, watch the video above this article. The recording shows the exact timing needed to keep the ants moving and your slots empty.
