Colony Flow Level 121 presents a colorful pixel art cat paw on the board. You must guide your ant colony to clear away the white background and dismantle the paw layer by layer. The board limits you to five waiting slots for your blocks. You must plan your moves carefully to keep paths open and avoid filling all the slots without a way forward.

What You Are Working With

The design in this level features a large cat paw centered on the board. A solid white background surrounds the entire shape. The paw itself has a thick dark purple outline. Inside the outline you will find sections of white and orange fur. The paw includes a large central pink pad and three smaller pink toe pads at the top. Dark red accents sit on the edges of these pink pads. Your tray at the bottom holds blocks in white, dark purple, dark red, pink, and orange. You will use these colored blocks to spawn matching ants that eat the corresponding colored tiles on the board. The board does not contain any special mechanics like hidden boxes or locked tiles. You only need to focus on routing your ants and managing your slot space.

What It Takes to Clear Level 121 Board

Clearing this board requires working from the outside in. You must first remove the outer white background tiles to give your ants access to the dark purple outline. Once you break the outline you can reach the inner colors safely. You have to balance the different colors in your five waiting slots at all times. If you pull too many blocks for colors that are trapped behind the outline your slots will jam and you will fail the level instantly. You win by systematically stripping away the white background, breaking the dark purple border, eating the pink and dark red pads, and finally clearing the white and orange inner fur. The level ends successfully when the last orange tile disappears and all ants return to the nest.

Colony Flow Level 121 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Clear the lower white background tiles to reach the paw outline.

You begin the level by focusing on the white tiles that surround the bottom of the cat paw. The board starts completely full so you must create some working room. Pull a white block from your tray into the first waiting slot. The white ants will stream out of the nest hole at the bottom and start eating the white tiles immediately above them. This action creates a vital open path along the bottom edge of the board. You need to keep pulling white blocks as their numbers count down to ensure the ants continue clearing the background. Keeping the white ants moving constantly prevents your first slot from getting stuck. The outer layer must fall first before you can reach anything else.

Step 2: Begin breaking the dark purple outline around the paw.

Once the white ants clear enough background space you will expose the bottom edge of the dark purple outline. This outline serves as a wall protecting the inner colors. Pull the large dark purple block into your second slot. The dark purple ants will travel through the empty space cleared by the white ants and attack the bottom border of the paw. This move is critical because the entire inner structure of the paw is trapped behind this thick dark purple line. Let the dark purple ants work their way slowly up the left and right sides of the outline. You now have two active colors working on the board simultaneously which keeps your slots flowing nicely and prevents any backups.

Step 3: Remove the remaining white background on the sides and top.

While the dark purple ants chip away at the heavy border you should continue pulling white blocks to clear the rest of the vast background. Place another large white block into your third slot. These white ants will march around the sides of the paw and head towards the top corners of the board. Clearing the entire white background is strictly necessary to expose the top toe pads later in the level. Pay close attention to the numbers on your white blocks in the tray. As they deplete you must promptly replace them with fresh white blocks to maintain a steady and unbroken stream of white ants along the outer edges of the board.

Step 4: Send dark red ants to clear the pad accents.

As the dark purple ants destroy the outer border they will naturally expose the dark red accents located on the sides of the paw pads. Pull a dark red block into your fourth slot to address these details. The dark red ants will carefully navigate around the remaining outline and begin eating the newly exposed dark red tiles. You must time this move with absolute precision. If you pull the dark red block before the dark purple ants open a valid path the dark red block will sit in your tray and permanently waste a valuable slot. Always wait until a clear path exists before committing the dark red block to the board.

Step 5: Start clearing the large central pink paw pad.

With the dark red accents disappearing and the bottom outline completely gone the large central pink pad finally becomes accessible. Pull a pink block into your fifth slot to start the inner cleanup. Pink ants will swarm right into the middle of the paw and start rapidly eating the large pink section. Your five slots are now completely full but every single block has an active path to the board. The white ants are finishing the top background while the dark purple ants finish the top outline. The dark red and pink ants are systematically dismantling the lower pads. This perfect flow ensures you will not fail the level from a slot jam.

Step 6: Clear the inner white fur sections of the paw.

As the initial white background blocks finish their countdowns and vanish your slots will free up again. The dark purple ants will have broken through enough of the outline to fully expose the inner white fur of the paw. Pull a new white block into an empty slot to transition your focus. These fresh white ants will now target the white sections inside the paw rather than the outside background. They will quickly clear the white fur located around the central pink pad and just below the top toe pads. Keeping white ants active on the board handles both the remaining background remnants and the inner fur details simultaneously.

Step 7: Attack the three top pink toe pads.

The dark purple ants will eventually clear the top outline completely and expose the three smaller pink toe pads at the summit of the board. You will need to pull additional pink blocks to send ants all the way to the top of the board. The pink ants will march up the cleared sides and begin eating the top toe pads piece by piece. You will need to pull a smaller pink block to finish off the remaining tiles when the first block runs out of numbers. Watch the paths closely to ensure the pink ants can reach all three toe pads without getting blocked by the remaining white or orange tiles in the center.

Step 8: Deploy the first orange block to clear the left side fur.

The only color remaining completely untouched is the orange fur that makes up the bulk of the lower paw. Once you have open slots and the inner white fur is mostly gone you can safely pull an orange block into play. The orange ants will flood into the left side of the paw and start devouring the large orange patch. You must wait until this very late stage to pull the orange block because the orange tiles are completely surrounded by other colors at the start of the level. Pulling the orange block too early causes a fatal jam in your waiting slots and ends your run instantly.

Step 9: Manage the final remaining colors at the top of the board.

The top of the board will eventually have a messy mix of dark purple outline tiles and pink toe pad tiles left over from the earlier pushes. You need to carefully pull the exact blocks needed to finish these specific sections. Pull a small dark purple block to send ants to the final few outline tiles at the very top edge. Then pull a small pink block to clear the last tiny pieces of the toe pads. Your ants will form very long lines walking around the vast empty space to reach these distant tiles. Let them finish their long paths so your slots clear out entirely for the final phase of the level.

Step 10: Clear the right side orange fur and finish the level.

The absolute only tiles left on the board will be the large patch of orange fur on the right side and bottom. Pull your final orange blocks into the available slots to finish the job. A massive swarm of orange ants will travel across the completely empty board and devour the remaining orange tiles in seconds. Since there are absolutely no other colors in the way the orange ants will clear the tiles very quickly and efficiently. Keep pulling any required orange blocks until the very last tile disappears from the screen. All the ants will then crawl back down the board and enter the nest hole to complete the stage successfully.

Final Thought

This level tests your patience and your ability to read the layers of the board. You have to resist the urge to pull blocks for the inner colors until you fully dismantle the outer border. Watch the paths closely and manage your five slots with care. Watch the video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text.
