Colony Flow Level 190 drops you right into a massive pixel art holiday tree right from the start. You have a huge structure to break down and a tray packed with extremely high number blocks waiting for you at the bottom of the screen. I play every level of this game myself and verify my methods against the actual gameplay so you get the exact strategy you need to win. I will show you exactly how to peel this tree apart from the outside in without ever jamming your waiting slots.

Colony Flow Level 190 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board features a giant tree constructed out of dark green, standard green, and light green tiles. It has multiple horizontal bands of light blue tiles cutting across the branches and a wide base made of orange and purple tiles representing a trunk and gifts. The very top of the structure holds a bright orange star. Your tray is full of blocks with very high numbers ranging from 12 all the way up to 50. You will also deal with connected boxes heavily in this level. These are two separate blocks linked together by a solid visible line. When you pull one connected box from the tray into the active play area its partner comes up automatically with it. This takes up an additional waiting slot instantly and demands careful planning.

What It Takes to Clear Level 190 Board

To win you must completely clear every single tile on the screen so the ants can finish walking the board. The ants can only eat food tiles they can physically reach from the empty white space around the main picture. If you pull a block color that the ants cannot reach because other tiles block the way that block will sit idle in your waiting slots and block traffic. Your board only gives you five waiting slots at the bottom. If you fill all five slots with blocks that have no open paths to matching food tiles you dead end the board and fail the level immediately. You must carefully strip the outer layers of the tree first to expose the inner colors and keep your waiting slots flowing freely from start to finish.

Colony Flow Level 190 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Start with the outer green leaves to open the board

The outer edges of the tree are heavily coated in thick dark green and light green tiles. You need to pull the dark green block 35 and the light green block 25 from the tray first. These colors have immediate open paths on the far left and far right sides of the tree structure. The ants will stream out of the nest hole and immediately begin eating away the outer foliage without any delay. You keep your waiting slots safe by selecting only these completely exposed outer colors. Do not touch the light blue block 39 yet because the light blue bands are heavily trapped inside the green tiles. Pulling that blue block now would cause a massive traffic jam in your slots.

Step 2: Use connected boxes to clear the light blue bands

Once the outer green leaves are mostly stripped away you will see the light blue horizontal bands open up on the sides of the tree. You can now safely pull the connected boxes containing the light blue block 1 and the light green block 61. Because these are connected boxes they will take up two of your five waiting slots instantly the moment you tap them. You must make sure you have the empty space ready before you pull them up. The light green ants will continue eating the remaining outer leaves while the light blue ants dive straight into the horizontal bands. This dual action keeps the ants moving across the board and prevents your slots from dead ending.

Step 3: Strip away the middle green sections of the tree

With the light blue bands slowly receding the middle green core of the tree becomes fully exposed to your ants. You will see blocks for standard green and dark green waiting in your tray with large numbers. Pull the dark green block 15 and the light green block 10 into your active waiting slots. The ants will march right up the sides of the remaining structure and eat away the bulk of the middle foliage. You should always try to keep at least one waiting slot completely empty during this phase as a safety buffer. If you pull too many heavy blocks at once you risk filling the slots completely before the ants can finish walking their current open paths.

Step 4: Clear the bottom purple presents and lower branches

screenshot

The focus now heavily shifts to the bottom of the board where the purple tiles are securely located. These tiles represent the small gifts sitting underneath the tree and they are now completely accessible from the bottom edge of the board. Pull the purple block 34 into your waiting slots to activate it. The ants will rush straight to the bottom and quickly clear the purple tiles out of the way. While they do this you should also pull the light green block 22 to keep the top branches clearing at the exact same time. Splitting the ant traffic between the top and bottom sections of the board ensures no single color holds up your entire queue and your slots never back up.

Step 5: Target the orange tiles at the base of the tree

screenshot

The large orange trunk and the remaining bottom orange presents are now wide open for the ants to eat. Your tray will present you with connected boxes linking a small orange block and a standard green block. Pulling these connected boxes clears the remaining bottom sections while also finishing off the last few green patches stuck in the middle of the tree. You must watch your slot count very carefully here because connected boxes demand two spaces immediately. Since both the orange and green tiles have clear open paths to reach your slots will empty smoothly and you entirely avoid any risk of dead ending the level.

Step 6: Eliminate the remaining inner green tiles

screenshot

The once massive tree is now reduced to a very thin small skeleton of tiles floating in the center. You need to clear the very last dark green and standard green tiles located near the top and middle sections. Pull the dark green block 27 into your tray to finally finish this remaining green section. Ensure that the paths to the very top remain completely open for the final required colors. You only want to bring up the green blocks that have a direct clear route to the remaining green tiles. If you accidentally pull an orange block too early it will sit uselessly in your tray and take up critical space while the green ants finish their necessary work.

Step 7: Finish the top orange star and the final blue bands

screenshot

The final pieces left on the entire board are the bright orange star at the top along with a few tiny light blue tiles and some remaining orange pieces at the very bottom. You need to pull the connected boxes that feature the light blue block 1 and the dark blue block 2. The blue tiles vanish quickly as the ants consume them. Finally you can pull the last orange block 36 to wrap up the board. The ants will travel all the way up the mostly empty board to eat the top star and finish the remaining bottom trunk pieces. Your waiting slots stay completely clear during this final major push. The ants finish the board entirely and you win the level.

Final Thought

Colony Flow Level 190 requires deep patience and excellent slot management to successfully break down such a large initial structure. Always remember to work strictly from the outside edges inward to keep your ant paths wide open. If any specific move feels hard to picture from the text alone I highly encourage you to watch the video above this article to see exactly how the connected boxes behave in real time.
