Welcome to Colony Flow Level 774. This board presents a beautiful pixel art picture of a white duck wearing a green leaf hat and holding a small bowl. The colorful sunset background and water details make this a fun visual puzzle to solve. I will guide you through my exact method for clearing this board without letting the waiting slots jam. Managing your block pulls is the key to letting your ants safely eat every tile on the screen.

Colony Flow Level 774 Overview

What You Are Working With

The picture is filled with vibrant colors that require specific blocks to clear. The sky features large bands of magenta and purple tiles. The water at the bottom consists of cyan tiles broken up by a few brown cattails. The duck itself is made of white tiles with a bright orange and yellow beak. The large green leaf hat sits on top of the duck head. Your tray at the bottom holds blocks matching all these colors. Some blocks are visible immediately while others are hidden behind question marks. You will also encounter a pair of connected yellow blocks later in the level.

What It Takes to Clear Level 774 Board

You win the level when your ant colony completely eats every food tile in the picture and the tray is empty. You feed the colony by tapping numbered colored blocks in the tray to send them up to the five waiting slots. The ants stream out of the nest hole and travel along open paths to reach the tiles that match the block colors. As the ants eat the tiles the numbers on the blocks count down to zero. The core challenge is that you lose if you fill all five waiting slots and the ants cannot reach any matching colors. You must always maintain an open path and carefully rotate your blocks to avoid a dead end.

Colony Flow Level 774 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Open the outer edges of the sunset and water to create long travel paths.

You want to start by giving the ants massive surface areas to target right away. Pull the initial magenta block and the cyan block from the tray up to the waiting slots. The colony will instantly split into two massive groups. One group heads to the top edge to eat the bright magenta sunset tiles. The other group spreads across the bottom edge to consume the cyan water tiles. Sending these two colors up early establishes wide open paths at the very top and very bottom of the board. This prevents the ants from getting stuck in narrow tunnels and ensures your first few blocks drain smoothly.

Step 2: Clear the vertical brown cattails to connect the lower sections.

The cyan water is interrupted by tall brown cattails on the left and right sides of the screen. Tap the brown blocks in your tray to move them into the active slots. The ants will march over to these vertical brown pillars and eat them away. Clearing the cattails removes the barriers between the different sections of water. This gives your colony total freedom to move horizontally across the entire lower half of the board. Keep pulling purple blocks into the slots at the same time to continue clearing out the sunset sky above the duck.

Step 3: Attack the massive green leaf hat on top of the duck head.

The green leaf hat takes up a large portion of the upper right section and requires high numbered green blocks to clear. Move a green block up to the waiting slots as soon as you have an empty space. The ants will swarm the top right corner and begin breaking down the green tiles. Because the green blocks have high numbers they will sit in the slots for a while. You must be careful not to pull too many green blocks at once. Let the first green block drain down to a low number before you pull the next one. This keeps your slots rotating properly and prevents a board jam.

Step 4: Uncover the hidden blocks in the lower tray rows.

Your tray starts with several hidden blocks marked with question marks that reveal their colors only when the blocks above them are cleared. As you use up the visible cyan and brown blocks the hidden blocks below will finally show their true colors. You will reveal more magenta and purple blocks needed to finish the sunset sky. Tap these newly revealed blocks and send them to the waiting slots. The ants will travel up the sides of the board to eat the final pieces of the sky. Clearing the sky completely isolates the duck in the center of the board and gives the ants total access to the white tiles.

Step 5: Flood the center of the board to clear the white duck body.

screenshot

The main body of the duck is solid white and demands very large numbered white blocks. By this point the sky and the hat are mostly gone so the ants have a direct route to the duck. Pull the white blocks from the tray up to the active area. The colony will flood the center of the board in a massive swarm. The white blocks will actually empty out very quickly because the ants can attack the duck body from every single angle. The duck will rapidly disappear and this action completely opens up the middle of the board for your final moves.

Step 6: Manage the connected yellow blocks for the duck beak.

screenshot

The orange and yellow duck beak sits right in the middle of the face. To clear it you must use the connected yellow blocks resting in the tray. Connected blocks move together so you cannot pull them unless you have two empty waiting slots available at the exact same time. Wait patiently for your white and green blocks to finish their countdowns. Once two slots open up tap the connected yellow blocks. The ants will march straight into the center and consume the beak. Timing this move perfectly guarantees that you never lock up your board.

Step 7: Clean up the small grey bowl and the remaining drops of water.

screenshot

The duck holds a tiny bowl made of a few cyan and grey tiles. Pull the remaining low numbered cyan blocks to the waiting slots. The ants will easily walk over to the left side and eat the bowl. You also have a few tiny patches of water left near the bottom edge. Because the paths are extremely short the ants will reach these lower tiles instantly. The blocks will drain incredibly fast. You can pull these final cyan blocks in rapid succession without any fear of jamming your slots.

Step 8: Empty the final tray blocks to secure the win.

You are now left with just a handful of blocks in the tray and only a few scattered tiles on the board. The remaining tray colors are purple and white and cyan. Send every single remaining block up to the waiting slots. The colony will scatter in different directions to clean up the board. A few ants will finish the last corner of the purple sky. Another small group will clear the tail feathers of the duck. The final ants will drink up the last drop of cyan water. The board goes completely blank and you win the level.

Final Thought

Keeping your waiting slots clear is the absolute most important skill to master in this game. Level 774 tests your patience by mixing massive open areas like the sky with tight specific spots like the beak. Always watch your block numbers and never pull a connected block unless you are completely sure you have the space for it. If any of these steps are hard to picture in text I highly recommend watching the video above this article to see the exact ant movements in action.
