Colony Flow Level 58 features a large pixel art picture of a smiling cartoon cat face. You will notice a bright red collar a yellow bell and a big light blue head dominating the board. This stage requires careful planning because you must manage connected boxes right from the start while digging out keys embedded deep in the picture. I will walk you through the exact moves to clear the board while keeping your paths open so your waiting slots never jam.
Colony Flow Level 58 Overview
What You Are Working With
The picture displays a round cat head with a white face a black outline and a light blue top section. The bottom of the picture features a red collar and a yellow bell. There are two essential special items located on the board. You will see a yellow key resting on the left side of the black outline and a light blue key resting on the right side.
Your tray holds a variety of colored blocks with specific numbers. You have a red block of eighteen connected directly to a yellow block of ten. You also have large white blocks of thirty five black blocks of twenty five and light blue blocks of twenty. Further down in your tray you will spot hidden boxes marked with question marks. The tray also holds two locked blocks at the very bottom. One lock requires the yellow key and the other requires the light blue key.
What It Takes to Clear Level 58 Board
Clearing this level requires you to systematically strip away the bottom edge of the picture to open paths moving upward. You must deploy the red and yellow connected boxes early so they can slowly drain as the ants chew away the collar and bell. Your main goal is to send ants up the left and right sides to collect the two keys. Collecting these keys breaks the locks in your tray and grants you the final blocks needed to finish the top of the head. You succeed when you clear every pixel without letting your five waiting slots fill up with blocks that have nowhere to go.
Colony Flow Level 58 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Deploy the connected boxes and clear the bottom white tiles
Pull the connected red and yellow blocks from your tray into your waiting slots. Because these two blocks are linked they immediately take up two of your five available slots. Next pull the large white block of thirty five. The white ants stream out of the nest hole and march straight up to the bottom of the cat face. They begin eating the white outline tiles near the collar. The red and yellow ants also find tiny paths to the collar and bell. The numbers on the red and yellow blocks will drop slowly as they nibble away at these small exposed areas. Getting these connected boxes into play early gives them the time they need to drain.
Step 2: Bring in a black block to attack the lower outline
Once your white block empties and frees up a waiting slot you must pull up a black block of twenty five. The black ants rush out and target the lower chin area of the pixel art. They start chewing through the black outline that borders the very bottom of the face. This action is necessary because you need to strip away the outer barrier to expose the inner tiles of the cheeks. Your red and yellow connected boxes are still sitting in your waiting slots. The red block drops to a single digit as more collar tiles open up. You still have open slots so your board remains safe from jamming.
Step 3: Introduce light blue ants to breach the left side
Your black ants create enough open space for you to safely pull a light blue block of twenty. The light blue colony flows out of the nest and wraps around the bottom left side of the picture. They attack the exterior blue tiles forming the edge of the cheek. Removing these blue tiles creates a clear avenue toward the yellow key sitting on the left side of the board. Always keep a close watch on your waiting slots during this phase. You currently hold the connected red and yellow boxes plus the active black and light blue boxes. This leaves one slot perfectly open to ensure your colony keeps moving.
Step 4: Pull a fresh white block to consume the inner cheeks
With the outer layers falling away you need to pull another large white block from the tray. The white ants swarm the massive section of white tiles that make up the lower half of the cat face. They flood the area just above the collar and eat their way upward into the cheeks. As they remove these bulk white tiles they help expose the yellow key on the left and the light blue key on the right. Keeping a white block active is an excellent strategy here. There is so much white food available that the white block drains quickly and empties its waiting slot fast.
Step 5: Collect the yellow key to unlock your tray
The combined efforts of the black ants and white ants finally isolate the yellow key on the left side of the face. Once an ant consumes the specific tile holding the key the game automatically collects it. The yellow key flies down to your tray and shatters the lock on a hidden block. You do not need to pull this newly unlocked block immediately. Just having it available gives you the necessary pieces for the late game. Focus on letting your currently active blocks finish their assigned paths. The red connected box is now down to just six ants as the collar continues to vanish.
Step 6: Deploy hidden boxes to maintain upward momentum
Look at your tray and locate the grey boxes marked with question marks. These are hidden boxes that only reveal their true color when a valid path exists on the board. Pull the first hidden box up to your waiting slots. It instantly transforms into a white block and the ants rush up to join the feast on the face. Pulling this hidden box clears valuable space in your tray and keeps relentless pressure on the board. The white ants push higher up the face toward the eyes and the red nose. The board shrinks significantly and the paths become much wider.
Step 7: Clear the right side and collect the light blue key
Pull another light blue block into your slots to launch an attack on the right side of the head. The light blue ants surge up the right cheek and dismantle the blue outline border. Simultaneously your remaining black ants chew through the inner outline sections nearby. This teamwork isolates the light blue key on the right cheek. An ant eats the tile beneath it and the blue key drops down to unlock the final locked block in your tray. You now have full access to every block you need to conquer the top half of the picture.
Step 8: Finish the red nose and the remaining white face
Your red connected box has been occupying your slots since the very first move of the level. Now that the white ants have completely cleared the lower face the path to the red nose is open. The red ants rush straight up the middle of the board and consume the nose tiles. This action finally empties the red and yellow connected boxes and frees up two waiting slots. You now have maximum flexibility in your tray. Pull another large white block to finish off the eyes and the rest of the interior face.
Step 9: Mop up the top of the head with final blocks
Only the thick top curve of the light blue head and the upper black outline remain on the board. Pull your remaining light blue blocks and the large black block you unlocked earlier. The ant colonies split up and tackle the top edge of the picture from both sides. Because you managed your waiting slots perfectly throughout the entire level the ants have totally unrestricted access to all remaining food tiles. They quickly eat away the final blue and black pixels. The picture disappears completely and you win the level.
Final Thought
Level 58 demands patience with those early connected boxes and a steady focused push up the sides to secure the keys. Managing the heavy flow of white ants is your best method for keeping the waiting slots clear and open. I highly recommend watching the video above this article if you find any particular step or ant path hard to visualize through text alone.
