Welcome back to another Colony Flow puzzle guide where we tackle Level 24 together. This level presents a bright colorful peach picture sitting right in the middle of your screen. You will need to manage a massive set of background tiles and carefully handle connected boxes in your tray. I play through every single puzzle myself to find the absolute safest route for your ants. I write these guides to help you clear the board smoothly without ever getting stuck.
Colony Flow Level 24 Overview
What You Are Working With
The picture at the top of your screen is a large ripe peach. It features a giant orange body and a dark red shaded bottom edge. A bright white highlight sits directly on the left side of the fruit. Two small green leaves rest neatly on the top. A thick black outline wraps completely around the entire peach and the leaves. A solid light blue background fills the rest of the canvas all the way to the edges. Down in your tray you have light blue, orange, green, red, black, and white numbered blocks. You also have a special set of connected red blocks that move as a single unit. A hidden box sits deeper in the tray waiting for a clear path to reveal its true color.
What It Takes to Clear Level 24 Board
To win this level you must clear every single pixel of the peach and the surrounding background. Your colony of ants streams out of the nest hole at the bottom of the board and follows the open grid to reach the food. You pull colored blocks from the tray to give them their eating commands. Each block holds a specific number that tells you exactly how many ants it will feed. You only have exactly five empty waiting slots at the bottom of the screen. If you fill all five slots with colors that cannot reach their matching food tiles, the ants stop moving entirely and you immediately lose the level. You clear the board by opening the outer background first and then carefully working your way inside the fruit so your waiting slots always have an active block counting down.
Colony Flow Level 24 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Clear the background to open the outer edges
The board starts completely locked up by the solid light blue background. You cannot reach the orange peach body or the green leaves at all yet. Look at your tray and pull the light blue blocks first. This action sends a massive swarm of ants out of the nest hole. They will travel to the far left and right edges of the board to begin eating. The initial light blue blocks hold large numbers like 28 and 40. These numbers count down quickly as the ants consume the background tiles. Pulling light blue immediately ensures your ants have a wide open path to follow. If you pull the orange or green blocks right now, they will just sit in your five waiting slots and block your progress completely. Keep pulling the available light blue blocks until the bottom corners of the background disappear entirely.
Step 2: Pull the connected red blocks to eat the bottom edge
Once the bottom corners of the background are open, the dark red edge of the peach becomes fully accessible. Look at your tray and find the two red blocks. You will see a small visible link connecting them together. These are connected boxes. When you pull one red block, the other one automatically jumps into the waiting slots right alongside it. You must ensure you have at least two empty slots before you pull them. Pull the connected red blocks now. The ants will stream toward the bottom of the peach and start eating the red tiles. The numbers on these red blocks are 25 and 30. Watch the numbers shrink rapidly as the ants clear the red section. This move breaks a hole directly into the bottom of the black outline and opens a fresh new path to the inside of the fruit.
Step 3: Break the black outline to reach the solid orange center
The thick black outline acts exactly like a solid wall around the main body of the peach. Since the red tiles are gone, the bottom section of the black tiles is now exposed. Find the black block in your tray and pull it directly into your waiting slots. The black block holds a 30. Your ants will crawl up through the gap left by the red tiles and begin eating the black outline. This is a critical move for your success. Clearing the outline opens the boundary between the outside background and the inside fruit. You want your ants to have multiple attack angles at all times. By eating the black tiles, you expose the orange center and the bright white highlight. Your waiting slots stay perfectly safe because the ants continuously flow to the black tiles without experiencing any delays.
Step 4: Send a huge swarm to the massive orange peach body
The black outline is broken and the orange tiles are wide open for your colony. The orange section is by far the largest part of the picture. You have several orange blocks in your tray carrying huge numbers like 40 and 41. Start pulling the orange blocks into your empty waiting slots. The ants will pour into the center of the canvas and devour the orange pixels. Because the orange area is so massive, you can safely pull multiple orange blocks at exactly the same time. The ants will spread out evenly and eat from different sides of the fruit. This keeps the numbers counting down very rapidly. Your five waiting slots will naturally empty out as the ants finish their meals. Always wait for a slot to completely clear before pulling another massive block from your tray.
Step 5: Target the green leaves at the very top of the canvas
While the ants are busy with the orange center, turn your full attention to the top of the board. The black outline around the green leaves is entirely gone. Pull the green blocks from your tray into your active slots. The green blocks have smaller numbers like 17 and 5. The ants will travel all the way up the left and right sides of the board to reach the leaves. Sending ants to the top is a highly effective play. It divides your colony into two distinct working groups. One group eats the orange tiles in the middle while the other group eats the green leaves at the top. This splits the ant traffic and prevents your colony from bottlenecking on a single tight path. Your waiting slots will process the green blocks very fast due to their low numbers.
Step 6: Pull the white block to reveal the secret hidden box
As you dig deeper into your tray, you will uncover a grey block featuring a large question mark on it. This is a hidden box. A hidden box keeps its true color an absolute secret until the board has a valid path ready for it. Right next to it sits a white block carrying a 40. The white highlight on the left side of the peach is completely exposed right now. Pull the white block straight into your waiting slots. The ants will march over to the white tiles and clear the highlight away. As the white block leaves the tray, the hidden box shifts forward into view. Keep a close eye on the hidden box. Once the ants eat enough of the surrounding tiles to create a valid open path, the question mark will vanish instantly and the block will show its real color.
Step 7: Clean up the remaining scattered pixels to win the level
The board is now mostly empty and looks exactly like a scattered puzzle. You only have a few separated light blue, orange, green, and black tiles left on the canvas. The hidden box reveals itself as an orange block. The remaining blocks in your tray hold a random mix of high and low numbers. Pull the final green block and the remaining black block to clear the last little bits of the outline and leaves. Then pull the remaining orange and light blue blocks to finish the job. Since the entire board is fully open, the ants will take the absolute shortest straight line directly to their food. You do not have to worry about jamming your waiting slots anymore. The paths are completely clear from all sides. Watch the ants consume the final pixels. The last block counts down to zero and the level ends in a satisfying win.
Final Thought
You just conquered a tough board by managing your open paths perfectly. Keeping your slots empty and moving your ants efficiently is the absolute key to winning every time. If any part of this guide is hard to visualize, watch the video above this article to see the exact moves in motion.
