Colony Flow Level 34 brings you face to face with a colorful pixel art picture of a gingerbread style house. You have a massive tray of numbered colored blocks at the bottom of your screen and a board entirely packed with pixels. I play every single level to figure out the best routes so you do not have to guess. I will walk you through exactly how I clear this entire picture without letting the waiting slots jam up.

Colony Flow Level 34 Overview

What You Are Working With

The picture on this level looks like a classic holiday house. You have a bright yellow background filling the upper space and the outer edges. A thick layer of white snow pixels runs across the very bottom of the picture. Above the snow sits a solid brown foundation line. The main walls of the house are bright orange. The roof features thick white frosting lines decorated with scattered red and green accents. When you look at the tray at the bottom of your screen, you see a huge pile of numbered blocks. These blocks come in yellow, white, orange, brown, red, and green to match the picture perfectly.

What It Takes to Clear Level 34 Board

You have exactly five waiting slots sitting between the picture and the block tray. You move blocks from the tray into these slots to summon your ants. The ants stream out of the nest hole and run up the open paths to eat the matching colored pixels. If you fill all five waiting slots with colors the ants cannot reach, the ants stop moving and you lose the level. You win by carefully clearing the picture layer by layer. Every single move you make must keep at least one clear path open for your colony. You clear the level when the last pixel vanishes and your ants run back into the hole.

Colony Flow Level 34 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Clear the outer yellow background to create wide side paths

screenshot

Start by tapping the large yellow blocks from your tray to clear the outer background. Look for the Yellow 35 block and the Yellow 20 block and tap them into your waiting slots. The ants will immediately stream out of the bottom hole and head straight for the exposed yellow pixels on the far left and the far right edges of the picture. Letting your colony eat these outer sections first gives them very wide side paths to travel up the board later. Do not pull any other colors into your slots just yet. You want your ants to focus entirely on chewing through that huge chunk of yellow background so your slots clear out fast. The numbers on your blocks will count down rapidly as the ants eat each individual pixel. Once those numbers hit zero, the yellow blocks vanish from the bottom of your screen and give you your empty slots back. You need these empty slots to keep the game moving forward safely.

Step 2: Eat away the white snow barrier at the bottom of the picture

With your side paths fully open, you must clear the bottom barrier of the picture. Tap the white blocks into your empty slots to target the snow. Pull up a White 29 block along with a White 7 block and a White 13 block. Your ants will march straight up from the hole and devour the white snow layer stretching entirely across the bottom of the board. They will also run up the side paths to grab a few white frosting pixels on the lower edges of the roof. Eating this white layer exposes the brown foundation line and opens up the bottom edge of the solid orange walls. This creates a massive open space across the lower half of your screen and ensures your ants always have room to maneuver. Opening the board from the bottom up is the absolute best way to avoid filling your waiting slots with unplayable blocks.

Step 3: Dismantle the main orange walls and red roof accents

Now that you have a wide open bottom section, bring in your orange blocks to take down the walls. Tap an Orange 32 block and an Orange 25 block into the waiting slots. You should also add a Red 13 block from the tray to keep things moving. The ants will flood straight up into the center of the board and start tearing down the huge block of orange pixels that make up the main body of the house. At the exact same time, a second group of ants will run up the clear side paths to eat the red pixels dotting the outer roof line. Pulling orange and red together splits your colony into two highly active groups moving in completely different directions. This smart strategy drains multiple blocks from your waiting slots at the same time and prevents any traffic jams near the nest hole.

Step 4: Remove the brown foundation line to connect the empty spaces

screenshot

You will notice a solid line of brown pixels floating right in the middle of your newly opened space. Pull your large brown blocks from the tray to deal with this annoying barrier right away. Tap a Brown 30 block and a Brown 14 block into your waiting slots. Because you cleared the white snow earlier, your ants have a completely clear run from the hole directly to this brown line. The ants will swarm the foundation and eat through it in a matter of seconds. Removing this brown strip connects your empty bottom area directly with the empty center area where the orange walls used to be. Creating this gigantic open space guarantees your colony will never get stuck trying to reach the higher parts of the roof. You will never have to worry about your ants dead ending on this level once this huge center space is open.

Step 5: Target the green accents and the remaining white roof frosting

screenshot

Turn your attention to the top half of the board where the large roof sits. You have green accent pixels and thick white frosting lines blocking the upper yellow background. Pull a Green 24 block and a Green 16 block into your waiting slots. Follow those green blocks with any leftover white blocks you see sitting in the tray. The ants will use the massive open space in the center of the board to charge straight up to the very top. They strip away the green details and chew through the remaining white lines connecting the roof. You will see the solid roof structure begin to break apart into small floating chunks of color. Watch your waiting slots closely and make sure they empty out completely before you tap your next color. You always want to keep a close eye on the slot count so you do not accidentally lose the game.

Step 6: Clear the leftover orange and red floating roof pieces

screenshot

The picture is getting incredibly sparse at this late stage of the game. Tap your leftover orange blocks and red blocks into your slots to clean up the floating chunks. You pull an Orange 16 block and a Red 12 block from the tray to finish this part. Since you removed the white and green barriers in the previous step, your ants can easily reach the higher red and orange pixels without bumping into any walls. They swarm the upper sections of the board and eat away the final pieces of the actual house structure. The only things left on the board will be a few stray brown spots and the solid block of yellow background at the very top. Your waiting slots will drain incredibly fast during this step because the ants have a completely direct path to their targets.

Step 7: Finish the top yellow background and any final color scraps

screenshot

It is finally time to clear the board completely and win the level. Pull your remaining large yellow blocks into the slots to finish the job. Bring up a Yellow 40 block and a Yellow 38 block to handle the massive top section of the yellow background. Tap any leftover brown or green blocks from the tray into your final empty slots. The entire colony will stream out of the hole in one giant wave of activity. They flood the top of the screen and devour the remaining yellow pixels in a massive rush. Because there are absolutely no barriers left on the board, they finish the job in just a few short seconds. You will watch the final block numbers drop to zero. The ants return to their hole and you beat the board with ease.

Final Thought

Clearing this level comes down to opening the bottom and middle areas very early so your ants always have room to run. Manage your five waiting slots carefully and never pull a block color your ants cannot reach. If you find any part of this written guide hard to follow, watch the video above this article to see exactly how I play these moves.
