Colony Flow Level 1030 gives you a beautiful pixel art picture of a character wearing a giant yellow star hood surrounded by water and clouds. You have to feed this massive picture to your hungry ants while managing a tricky tray full of connected boxes and locked blocks. I played this level to figure out the best sequence so you can keep your waiting slots open. Follow my guide to master the board and clear every single tile.
Colony Flow Level 1030 Overview
What You Are Working With
The board features a large central character design made mostly of yellow and red tiles. White cloud tiles float at the top corners while teal and blue water tiles sit at the bottom corners. The tray at the bottom holds your numbered color blocks. For this puzzle you will deal with standard single blocks as well as connected boxes that link multiple colors together. You will also see lock and key blocks. Several blocks in your tray have padlocks on them. You cannot use those locked blocks until you find and play the matching key blocks hidden deeper in the stack.
What It Takes to Clear Level 1030 Board
Winning requires clearing every pixel art tile from the board. Your ants stream out of the nest hole at the bottom of the screen. You feed them by pulling numbered blocks into the five waiting slots. The ants run to the board and eat tiles that match the color in your waiting slots. As they eat tiles the numbers on your blocks count down. When a block hits zero it disappears and frees up a slot. The golden rule is that you must never fill all five slots with blocks the ants cannot reach. You lose instantly if your tray jams. You must constantly clear exterior tiles to open paths to the interior tiles.
Colony Flow Level 1030 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Start by clearing the outer white clouds and teal sky.
You begin with a tray showing a purple six block a teal forty eight block a white thirty block a teal fifty five block and an orange twenty two block. Pull the white thirty block first. The ants will immediately rush up the sides of the board to eat the white cloud tiles in the top corners. Next pull the large teal blocks. The outer edges of the picture are lined with light teal and blue tiles. Providing these colors early gives your ants plenty of valid targets. They will strip away the background and expose the thick red outline of the central character. This keeps your slots moving and prevents early dead ends.
Step 2: Pierce the thick red outline around the character.
With the clouds and background fading away your ants can finally touch the main picture. The character has a heavy red border. Pull any available red blocks into your tray. You will see a red forty block appear early on. Play it as soon as the ants have a clear path to the red outline. The ants will swarm the border and break it apart. Breaking this red wall is critical because it guards the massive yellow star hood inside. You need the red tiles gone so you can start clearing the huge chunks of yellow.
Step 3: Feed the massive yellow star hood to your ants.
The yellow hood takes up a huge portion of the board. Once the red outline breaks you will have access to hundreds of yellow tiles. Your tray will supply you with a massive yellow sixty six block a yellow forty four block and several yellow twenty two blocks. Pull these yellow blocks confidently. Because the yellow section is so large your ants will drain these high number blocks very quickly. Watching a yellow sixty six block melt away in seconds is satisfying and keeps your waiting slots wide open. Always make sure a yellow block is active during this phase.
Step 4: Handle the connected white and yellow boxes carefully.
As you dig deeper into the tray you will encounter connected boxes. These are blocks joined together by a line. You will see a white block connected to another white block and later a yellow block connected to a white block. When you pull one connected box the whole linked group drops into your waiting slots. This is dangerous because it eats up multiple slots at once. Only pull these connected boxes when you are absolutely sure both colors have exposed tiles on the board. Look at the face of the character and the remaining clouds to ensure your ants can reach the white and yellow tiles before you commit to the pull.
Step 5: Collect the keys to free your locked blocks.
About halfway through the stack you will uncover key blocks. You have locked purple pink and yellow blocks sitting frozen in your tray. You cannot click them until the padlocks are gone. Pull the key blocks as soon as they appear in the top row of your tray. The keys do not take up waiting slots for long but they are required to progress. Unlocking the bottom rows gives you access to the specific pink and purple blocks you need to clear the face and the inner details of the character. Prioritize keys the moment they become clickable.
Step 6: Clear the intricate face and clothing details.
Now that your tray is unlocked you can attack the center of the picture. The character has pink hair a peach face and a red outfit with orange accents. Pull your pink thirteen block and pink twelve blocks to clear the hair. Play your orange blocks to clear the shirt details. Because these sections are small and tucked inside the hood they are easy to block if you are not paying attention. Keep your focus on the exact colors exposed in the center. Match your pulls to what the ants can physically touch right now. Do not pull a purple block if the purple tiles are still surrounded by pink tiles.
Step 7: Manage the complex connected boxes in the late game.
The late game tray throws some very tricky connected boxes at you. You will find a red thirty one block connected to a teal sixteen block. You will also see a yellow forty two block connected to another yellow forty two block. By this point the board is mostly empty but the bottom corners still have thick teal and blue structures. Pull the red and teal connected box to finish the red clothing and start chipping away at the bottom teal structures. The yellow connected boxes will clear out the very last fragments of the star hood. Always verify the ants can reach the corners before pulling these double blocks.
Step 8: Sweep the bottom water structures with your final teal blocks.
The lower left and lower right corners contain thick clusters of blue and teal tiles that look like water. Your tray will provide a teal twenty four block a teal twenty six block and eventually smaller teal blocks like a two and a one. Flood your waiting slots with these cool colors. The ants will march down to the bottom corners and devour the structures. This is a very safe phase because the outer paths are completely wide open. You just need to ensure you do not accidentally pull a different color that has no tiles left.
Step 9: Finish the final scattered pixels to win.
Only a handful of stray tiles will remain on the completely open board. You will likely have a few red blue and purple pixels scattered around the empty space. Your final tray row holds a red twenty one block a blue thirty six block and a tiny red one block. Pull these final blocks to match the remaining pixels. The ants will run straight across the empty canvas to grab the last pieces of food. Once the final block hits zero the level ends and you claim your victory.

Colony Flow Level 1030 requires patience and excellent timing with your connected boxes. Keeping the outer edges clear first ensures your ants always have room to work.
