Welcome to Colony Flow Level 441. This level presents a fun pixel art portrait of a boy in a red shirt and green shorts. The main challenge here is managing the connected boxes in your tray while steadily carving paths from the bottom of the picture to the top. I play every level myself and I have found the safest approach to keep your paths open and prevent the waiting slots from jamming.
Colony Flow Level 441 Overview
What You Are Working With
The picture on this board is a detailed pixel art portrait of a boy. He has dark black hair and light peach skin. He is wearing a bright red shirt with green trim along the bottom edge along with green shorts. His shoes are a mix of black and red pixels. He also wears bright white socks right above the shoes. A large white background forms a square around the entire character making the shape completely solid. Below the board you have a tray filled with numbered blocks in black red green white and skin tone. This level also features connected boxes in the tray. These connected boxes are joined together and move as a pair. When you pull a connected pair they take up multiple spaces in your waiting slots at the exact same time. You will see several pairs of these white connected boxes as you progress through the level.
What It Takes to Clear Level 441 Board
You win this level by clearing the entire pixel art picture from the bottom to the top without jamming your tray. The game gives you exactly five waiting slots to hold your pulled blocks. If you fill all five slots and the ants cannot reach the matching colors on the board you lose immediately. You must carefully manage the order you pull the blocks. Always ensure the ants have an open path to the colors you place in the waiting slots. Since the ants emerge from a hole at the bottom you must start with the shoes and shorts. You will slowly carve paths upward through the shirt arms face and hair. Managing the bulky connected boxes is your main challenge because they eat up your slot space extremely fast.
Colony Flow Level 441 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Clear the shoes and shorts to open the bottom of the board
When the level starts the entire pixel art picture is solid and completely blocks the upper areas. The ants sit waiting in their nest hole at the very bottom of the screen. You only have access to the bottom row of pixels. This bottom section consists of black and red shoes along with green shorts resting just above them. Look at your tray and tap the red green and black blocks to pull them up. The ants will stream out of the hole and immediately target the lowest accessible tiles which are the shoes. They eat the black and red pixels first. Watch the numbers on your blocks drop quickly as the ants do their work. After the shoes are gone the ants move slightly higher to eat the green shorts. You must wait for the ants to finish these lower sections completely. Do not pull any white or skin tone blocks right now. If you pull colors the ants cannot reach yet the blocks will just sit in your waiting slots and take up valuable space. Keeping the slots clear early on is essential.
Step 2: Send ants to eat the large red shirt in the center
Once the shorts are completely cleared out the ants gain access to the bottom edge of the red shirt. The red shirt forms a massive chunk of pixels right in the middle of the board and acts as a huge barrier. You need plenty of red numbers to clear it out. Pull the large red blocks from your tray into your waiting slots. The red ants march up through the center and spread out widely across the shirt. This clearing process takes some time because the shirt spans the entire width of the boy torso. You must remain patient while the ants eat through this large red area piece by piece. Do not pull any skin tone blocks or black blocks during this phase. The arms and face are completely blocked behind the red shirt. If you pull skin blocks now they will clog your five waiting slots and leave you with no room to move forward. Let the red numbers tick all the way down.
Step 3: Pull connected white boxes to clear the lower background
As the red shirt vanishes you finally unlock access to the white background flanking the character. Look at your tray and you will see pairs of connected white boxes waiting for you. These connected boxes are linked tightly together and they move as a single unit. Tapping them fills two of your five waiting slots instantly. You must ensure you have at least two empty slots before pulling them up or you risk an immediate loss. Once they sit safely in the waiting slots the ants rush to the white socks and the lower white background. The ants quickly clear the white pixels on the left and right sides of the picture. This move opens clear paths traveling straight up the edges of the board. These open side paths will help the ants reach the higher sections of the portrait later without getting stuck behind the center pixels.
Step 4: Use skin tone blocks to clear the arms and neck
The red shirt is completely gone and the lower white background is totally clear. Now the ants have open paths to touch the skin pixels. The character has skin pixels on his left arm his right arm and his neck. Tap the large skin tone blocks from your tray and send them to the waiting slots. The ants run up the newly opened side paths and begin eating the arms from the outside edges. Other ants travel straight up the middle to attack the neck area. The skin blocks carry large numbers so it takes a massive group of ants to clear these sections. Let the ants work their way through the arms and neck steadily. Do not crowd your waiting slots with black blocks yet. Wait for the skin blocks to empty out and vanish before moving to the next required color. This patience keeps the board flowing nicely.
Step 5: Clear the face and prepare for the upper background
The neck leads directly into the face which is another huge section of skin tone pixels. Keep pulling new skin blocks as you need them to ensure the ants keep eating constantly. You will notice the face clearing out gradually reveals the black hair and the black eyes. You can pull the next black blocks to start clearing the eyes and the lower parts of the hair. At the exact same time you will spot another set of connected white boxes sitting in your tray. Pull these connected white blocks up to clear the upper white background around the head. Balancing the skin black and white blocks here is the real secret to maintaining a steady flow of ants. As long as the ants have valid paths to the face hair and background your waiting slots will never jam up with stuck blocks.
Step 6: Finish the black hair at the very top of the grid
The skin pixels are completely gone and the white background is entirely clear. The only thing left on the board is the large black hair section resting at the very top of the grid. Your tray is now mostly empty except for a few final black blocks. Pull these remaining black blocks up into your waiting slots to finish the job. The ants will stream up the clear side paths and straight through the empty center to reach the top of the grid. They will rapidly eat away the dark hair pixels from below. Watch the numbers on your final black blocks count down to zero. Once the last black pixel disappears the board becomes completely clear. The ants return to their hole and you win the level having perfectly managed the space.
Final Thought
This level tests your patience and your ability to manage connected blocks. Taking the board section by section keeps your paths open and prevents the waiting slots from filling up. I highly encourage you to watch the video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text. Seeing the ants clear the paths in real time makes the strategy perfectly clear.
