Welcome back to another puzzle walkthrough. Colony Flow Level 606 presents a beautiful winter cabin scene that you need to clear away piece by piece. I played this level multiple times to find the absolute best route through the tray blocks so you never dead end your board. This stage requires careful planning because the large numbered blocks can easily clog up your available space and trap you. Grab your device and get ready to send your ants into the snow.
Colony Flow Level 606 Overview
What You Are Working With
The board features a large pixel art picture of a winter house. You will see a massive yellow sky in the background with bright dark blue accents. The roof of the cabin is heavily layered with light blue and white snow tiles. The main body of the house uses vibrant purple and light purple sections. You also have brown wooden beams and bright orange windows. At the bottom of your screen sits the block tray. You have an assortment of colored numbered blocks ranging from tiny single digits all the way up to huge blocks holding fifty ants. There are also connected boxes in the tray that require two empty slots to pull.
What It Takes to Clear Level 606 Board
Winning this level means clearing every single colored tile from the top screen. You do this by pulling matching colored blocks from the bottom tray into your five waiting slots. The ants march out of their hole and travel up the open paths to eat the tiles. Your biggest threat is running out of room. If you fill all five waiting slots with blocks that have no open path to their matching tiles the board jams and you lose instantly. You must constantly balance large slow blocks with small fast blocks to ensure at least one slot always empties out.
Colony Flow Level 606 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Open the board by clearing the yellow sky background
The yellow sky takes up a huge portion of the top area and completely blocks access to the roof of the cabin. You need to pull the yellow blocks first to give your ants plenty of valid targets. Take a look at your tray and pull the yellow thirty five block. Watch the ants stream out of the bottom nest hole and march up the open paths on the left and right sides of the board. Adding a dark blue block at this early stage is a smart move because the dark blue roof outlines are fully exposed to the outside edge. The ants will happily chew away the outer layers of the sky and the dark blue roof trim. Do not pull any other colors right now. You want to keep your waiting slots dedicated to just yellow and dark blue so they drain completely. Letting a block empty out entirely frees up that waiting slot for the next wave of blocks. Pulling too many colors right now would fill all five slots and instantly end your game in a loss.
Step 2: Release the large light blue blocks to eat the snow
Once the outer yellow edges recede from the picture a massive amount of light blue snow becomes reachable. The bottom tray gives you multiple heavy light blue blocks including a thirty and a massive forty. Pull one of the large light blue blocks into an open waiting slot. The swarm of ants will surge forward and start clearing the heavy snowdrifts layered on the cabin roof. You must wait until the first light blue block is almost empty before you pull the second one. This staggered approach ensures you always have an active path moving and prevents your waiting slots from locking up. The light blue tiles also make up a large portion of the outer border around the cabin. Sending ants to clear this outer border creates even more open space for future colors to travel through. Always keep your eyes on the remaining tile count of the active block to time your next move perfectly.
Step 3: Use the fifty count white block for the main roof snow
The very top of the cabin roof is thickly covered in white snow tiles. You will notice a giant white fifty block sitting in the lower tray. Pulling a block with fifty ants means that specific waiting slot will remain occupied for a very long time. You absolutely must make sure your other four slots are completely clear and flexible before you pull the fifty white block. Once you pull it the ants will form a long continuous line up the middle of the screen. To keep your overall progress moving along you can pull a smaller brown fourteen block alongside the white one. The brown ants will target the wooden chimneys while the white snow slowly clears out over time. Balancing a massive fifty count block with a fast smaller block is the secret to keeping the board alive and preventing a fatal jam.
Step 4: Break down the purple and light purple exterior walls
With the roof and the yellow sky significantly reduced you finally have direct access to the main body of the house. The exterior walls consist of heavy purple and light purple tiles. You will find a purple forty block and a light purple thirty five block waiting in the lower tray. Pull these purple blocks to send your swarm deep into the center of the picture. The ants will quickly dismantle the exterior walls and reveal the shapes underneath. You must watch your available waiting slots very closely here. If the white block from your previous step is still draining you only have three slots left to play with. Do not pull any orange blocks yet because the bright windows might still be blocked by the remaining purple walls. Patience here prevents you from trapping an orange block in a slot with nowhere for those ants to go.
Step 5: Clear the wooden beams and orange windows
The center of the winter house features bright orange windows and thick brown wooden support beams. Now that the purple walls are completely out of the way you can safely pull the orange twenty block and the orange ten block. The ants will rush straight into the window areas and clear them out quickly. Go ahead and add another brown block to finish off the remaining wooden support beams holding the house together. These specific blocks have much smaller numbers so they will drain very fast and open up your waiting slots again in no time. This rapid turnover is exactly what you want as you approach the final stages of the puzzle. Keeping your slots rotating quickly means you are never in danger of failing the level.
Step 6: Pull the connected blocks to handle mixed leftover sections
As the board thins out and fewer tiles remain you will encounter connected boxes in your tray. You might see a light blue block physically linked to a purple block. You need two entirely empty waiting slots to pull a connected pair successfully. Wait for your currently active ants to finish their tasks completely. Once two slots finally open up you can safely pull the connected blocks. The ants will divide their attention automatically and hunt down the remaining light blue snow and whatever purple wall tiles are left on the board. Pulling connected blocks too early before you have guaranteed paths is a very common way to jam the board. Waiting until the end when the paths are wide open is the safest strategy to handle these linked boxes.
Step 7: Clean up the final scattered tiles with small numbers
The beautiful winter cabin is now reduced to just a few scattered blocks of color. You will see a tiny white six block and a small orange four block in your remaining tray. Pull these final blocks to send out the last cleaning crew. The ants will travel to the very edges of the board to eat the last remaining stray pixels. Keep your fingers entirely away from the tray once these final blocks are pulled. You do not want to accidentally pull a block you do not need and risk filling a slot unnecessarily. The level ends successfully the exact moment your final ant finishes eating the last colored tile and returns to the bottom nest hole.
Final Thought
Clearing this winter scene comes down to managing those massive fifty and forty count blocks. Taking your time and letting the heavy blocks drain completely will keep your waiting slots open and flexible. The order you pull the colors directly controls the flow of the game. Watch the video above this article if you want to see exactly how the board reacts when you pull the perfect combination of blocks.
