Colony Flow Level 704 throws a massive colorful lily picture onto your screen and places a couple of major roadblocks in your way. You start with a beautiful design made of pink red orange yellow green and white tiles. The nest hole sits right under the flower waiting for you to direct the swarm. The ants are ready to eat but you have to steer them perfectly. I play every single level myself to figure out the best strategies and test every move. This board challenges your patience and your ability to manage limited tray space.

Colony Flow Level 704 Overview

What You Are Working With

You face a large flower design taking up most of the board. The center features bright yellow orange and green tiles grouped tightly together. The massive petals consist of bright pink dark red and light pink tiles stretching outwards. A loose border of white tiles frames the top and sides of the entire design. The biggest obstacles are the two massive Hungry Doors covering the bottom left and bottom right corners. These doors display huge numbers and completely block the tiles hidden underneath them. The left Hungry Door demands over three hundred white tiles and five hundred additional mixed tiles. The right Hungry Door requires over two hundred white tiles to open. Your tray also dishes out Connected Boxes throughout the match. These linked blocks pull together and take up two slots at once.

What It Takes to Clear Level 704 Board

You win when every single tile disappears and the last ants return to the nest. You lose if you fill all five waiting slots at the bottom of the screen with blocks that have nowhere to go. You must constantly balance clearing the center petals with nibbling away at the white border. The Hungry Doors dictate your early moves because you desperately need the board space they hide. You have to feed the ants the exact colors required by the doors without ever dead ending your five waiting slots.

Colony Flow Level 704 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: You pull dark red and pink blocks to open paths into the center of the flower.

The ants pour out of the nest hole at the very bottom center of the board. They immediately face the bottom edges of the red and pink flower petals. You need to pull blocks that match these bottom edge colors to get the flow started. Look at your tray and select the dark red and bright pink blocks. The numbers on these blocks count down as the ants rush up and grab the corresponding color tiles. This initial push carves a path directly into the core of the lily. You want to expose the green and orange tiles in the center as quickly as possible. Do not touch the light pink or white blocks yet because those tiles are completely blocked by the lower petals. If you pull a white block now it sits in your waiting slot and wastes valuable space.

Step 2: You double check active paths before pulling dangerous connected boxes into your tray.

screenshot

Your tray soon starts serving up Connected Boxes. You see pairs like a yellow block linked to a pink block or an orange block linked to a white block. These pairs are incredibly dangerous if you mismanage them. When you tap a connected pair both blocks jump into your waiting slots simultaneously. They immediately take up two of your five precious spaces. Before you touch any Connected Boxes you must guarantee that both colors have an open path on the board. For example if you see an orange and white connected pair you need to make sure the ants can reach both an orange center tile and a white border tile. If only one color is accessible the other block sits dead in your tray. Always double check the active paths before pulling these pairs.

Step 3: You plan your moves carefully to cycle out the top row of your tray.

The blocks in your tray do not just sit in one flat line. They stack in horizontal rows. You have to use the blocks in the top row before you can reach the blocks sitting underneath them. This means you must plan your moves based on what is available right now and what unlocks next. Sometimes you desperately need a dark red block to keep a path moving but the only dark red block is trapped in the second row. You must find a safe way to play the top row blocks without filling your five waiting slots. You have to pull a yellow or a white block just to get it out of the way. When you do this you must be absolutely certain that those yellow or white blocks have active paths on the board. If you guess wrong and pull a block that has nowhere to go you permanently lose one of your five slots.

Step 4: You feed white ants along the borders to satisfy the massive Hungry Doors.

The two Hungry Doors sitting in the bottom corners require a massive amount of food to open. The left door displays a white square icon with a huge number above it. This means you must clear hundreds of white tiles from the board just to satisfy that specific requirement. The right door works the exact same way. You do not feed these doors directly. Instead the doors track your overall progress across the board. Every time you clear a required tile anywhere on the board the numbers on the Hungry Doors drop. You need to keep a steady diet of white tiles flowing whenever a path to the white border opens up. Pull white blocks from your tray to send white ants scurrying up the sides. As the ants eat the white border the numbers on the large brown doors steadily decrease.

Step 5: You clear the green and orange flower core to open multiple new attack angles.

Once you carve deep enough into the petals you finally expose the bright yellow orange and green tiles sitting in the middle of the lily. This is a perfect opportunity to cycle out the blocks taking up space in your lower tray. Tap the green orange and yellow blocks to send waves of ants into the flower core. Clearing the center acts like a bridge. It opens up multiple new angles of attack on the upper petals. The ants spread out and eat the dark red and bright pink tiles from the inside out. This rapid expansion is exactly what you need to prevent a board lock. With so many new paths open you rarely have to worry about a block dead ending in your tray.

Step 6: You break the left Hungry Door to reveal a fresh patch of light pink tiles.

Your constant work on the white border and the pink petals finally pays off on the left side of the board. The numbers on the left Hungry Door hit zero and the massive brown box shatters completely. This is a huge relief. Breaking this door reveals a large hidden patch of light pink tiles tucked into the bottom left corner. Suddenly you have a massive new target for your light pink blocks. Pull any light pink blocks you have waiting in your tray. The ants swarm this fresh corner and chew through the tiles rapidly. This new open area takes a lot of pressure off your five waiting slots. You confidently pull more connected boxes now knowing you have a reliable place to dump light pink numbers.

Step 7: You shatter the right Hungry Door and send ants into the final hidden corner.

With the left side clear you focus your attention on the right side of the flower. The right Hungry Door is still blocking a significant chunk of the board. Shift your strategy to target the dark red and pink petals leaning toward the right side. You see another connected pair of blocks pop up in your tray. Make sure you clear a path for both colors before pulling them. As you feed the ants the remaining red and white tiles the right Hungry Door finally runs out of numbers. The box vanishes and exposes the final hidden corner. This corner contains more light pink and white pieces. Send your ants straight into this newly opened space.

Step 8: You push aggressively through the remaining top petals with large red blocks.

The board looks much less intimidating now. The bottom half is completely empty and both Hungry Doors are gone. Only the top half of the red lily and a thin strip of white border remain. At this point your tray offers mostly red dark red and white blocks. The paths are wide open so you play aggressively. Tap the large red and dark red blocks to wipe out the remaining flower petals. The ants march right up the middle of the screen and fan out across the top. Watch the numbers on your blocks shrink as the beautiful flower design disappears tile by tile. Make sure you do not neglect the white border during this push.

Step 9: You clean up the final jagged white border to win the level.

The final phase of this board is incredibly satisfying. All the pink red orange green and yellow tiles are gone. You only have a small jagged line of white dots left at the very top edge of the board. Your tray gives you a few final blocks including a white block with a small number. Tap that last white block and watch the ants race up the empty screen. They grab the last remaining white dots and carry them back to the nest. The board clears completely and you score the win.

Final Thought

Level 704 demands excellent tray management and a lot of patience. Those Hungry Doors take a long time to break but steady progress gets the job done. If any step feels hard to follow in text I highly encourage you to watch the video above this article. Seeing the ants move in real time makes the flow strategy much easier to understand. Keep your paths open watch your connected boxes and you will easily conquer this puzzle.
