What You Are Working With

The picture at the top of the screen is a large bird. It has a light blue head and upper body. The lower body and wing are dark blue. The bird features a white belly. It also has an orange beak and orange feet. A solid black outline surrounds the entire bird. The background is completely filled with bright pink tiles. You will notice two chocolate blocks right at the start. One chocolate piece sits on the left side and the other sits on the right side. These chocolate pieces cover and hide the food tiles directly underneath them. You must clear the chocolate to access those hidden tiles. At the bottom of the screen you have your tray of colored blocks. The blocks display very high numbers. You have a 45 pink block and a 43 light blue block waiting for you. The five waiting slots are completely empty right now.

What It Takes to Clear Level 63 Board

Winning this level means you must remove every single colored tile from the picture. The ants will stream out of the nest hole at the bottom and walk up to eat the tiles. Your only job is to supply the right colored blocks in the right order. You pull a colored block into one of the five waiting slots. The ants will then take that color and look for a matching tile on the board. You lose the game if you fill all five waiting slots with blocks that have no open path. If the ants cannot reach the matching color they will just stop. The slot will stay jammed. Your strategy must focus on peeling the picture from the outside edges inward. You want to send ants to colors that have a clear and unobstructed route. Breaking the chocolate early is mandatory. Managing the massive pink background is also a top priority.

Colony Flow Level 63 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Focus on the dark blue base to break the chocolate.

You want to start by attacking the bottom edge of the bird. Pull the 22 dark blue block and the 30 dark blue block into your waiting slots. The dark blue ants will immediately leave the nest and walk straight up to the dark blue lower body of the bird. They will begin eating the tiles. As the dark blue ants clear the tiles on the bottom they will eventually reach the tiles right next to the chocolate. Eating these adjacent tiles breaks the chocolate. The chocolate pieces on the left and right will shatter. This action removes the barrier and reveals the dark blue and white tiles underneath. Opening up the sides early gives you far more options for your next moves. You keep your slots from jamming because the dark blue ants have a direct and open route right from the very beginning.

Step 2: Start the pink background and light blue sections.

With the chocolate out of the way the board opens up beautifully. Now is the perfect time to address the massive pink background. Pull the 45 pink block into an open slot. The pink ants will take the long route around the outer edges of the screen. They will start consuming the pink border from the outside in. Sending pink ants now is incredibly smart because their path is entirely free of obstacles. Next you should pull the 36 light blue block and the 43 light blue block. The light blue ants will march up the middle of the board. They will bypass the dark blue section and target the light blue head and upper wing. The board will look very busy with pink ants on the edges and blue ants in the middle. This steady flow ensures your tray keeps moving and fresh blocks keep sliding down.

Step 3: Keep the light blue and pink flow moving continuously.

You need to maintain the momentum you just built. Watch the numbers on your active blocks tick down to zero. As soon as the first 45 pink block finishes you must pull another one. The tray will reveal a 40 light blue block and another 45 pink block. Pull both of them into the waiting slots. The pink background is gigantic and requires multiple high number blocks to clear completely. The pink ants will continue to chew away the sides and the bottom corners of the background. Meanwhile the light blue ants will keep working their way up the bird head. You will also see a 24 dark blue block appear in the tray. Pull it up so the dark blue ants can finish the lower edge of the wing. Stay focused on these three colors. Pulling a white block or a black block right now is a terrible mistake. Those colors are still blocked by the blue tiles and pulling them will instantly jam your slots.

Step 4: Clear the orange feet and the orange beak.

As the dark blue ants finish eating the base of the bird the orange feet will finally become exposed. At the exact same time the light blue ants will clear enough of the head to open a path to the orange beak. Now is the safest time to pull the 13 orange block into a waiting slot. The orange ants will stream out of the nest and divide their paths. One group will head left to devour the orange feet. The other group will head right and travel up the board to eat the orange beak. Clearing these small orange details is absolutely crucial. Removing the orange tiles fully exposes the black outline around the lower half of the bird. If you forget the orange tiles and try to move on you will find yourself stuck later. Keeping the sequence logical prevents dead ends.

Step 5: Tackle the black outline around the bird.

The bird is now stripped of its outer blue colors and the orange details are gone. The solid black outline stands out clearly against the remaining tiles. You can now safely pull the 23 black block from the tray. The black ants will follow the newly cleared paths to reach the black border. They will start eating the lines around the wings and the body. They will also target the black eye on the bird face. Timing the release of the black block is extremely important. If you pull the black block while the orange or blue tiles are still blocking the way the black ants will have nowhere to go. The block will just sit in the waiting slot and take up valuable space. By waiting until the outline is fully reachable you guarantee the black ants flow smoothly.

Step 6: Send white ants to clear the bird belly.

The dark blue section is completely gone and the black outline is rapidly breaking down. This creates a massive open path straight to the white belly of the bird. Pull the 25 white block into your tray. Watch the white ants rush into the center of the picture to start eating the large white section. While the white ants are busy working on the belly you can also do some necessary cleanup on the remaining colors. Pull a 15 light blue block and a 15 dark blue block into the waiting slots. These ants will take care of the very last blue tiles left on the upper wing and the top of the head. Managing multiple colors at this late stage is very safe. The board is mostly empty space now. The ants have plenty of open routes to travel without bumping into dead ends or blocked paths.

Step 7: Finish the top pink background and final remaining details.

You have reached the final phase of the level. The bottom and middle sections of the board are empty. The only major area left is the thick pink background at the very top of the screen. Pull the 44 pink block and the 40 pink block into the slots. The pink ants will march all the way up the screen to consume the final pink rows. You will also need to pull the remaining small number white blocks to finish off the last few belly tiles. Finally pull the remaining black blocks to eat the final pieces of the outline. As the last pink tile vanishes the remaining ants will scurry back to the nest hole. The picture will be completely empty and you will successfully win the level.

Final Thought

You have officially beaten Colony Flow Level 63. Taking down that huge pink background and managing the chocolate pieces makes this puzzle very satisfying to solve. The key is simply trusting the process and never rushing your block pulls. If you find yourself getting stuck on the order of colors I highly recommend watching the video above this article. Seeing the ants move in real time will help you master the timing and keep your waiting slots completely clear.
