Welcome to Colony Flow Level 276. You are tasked with clearing a pixel art yellow duck wearing sunglasses, set against a bright light blue background. The board looks straightforward until you notice the massive numbered blocks sitting directly over the nest entrance. You must manage your ant flow perfectly so you break down these barriers without clogging up your available waiting slots.

What You Are Working With

The picture you need to clear is a large yellow duck with an orange beak and white sunglasses. The duck has a thick black outline and is surrounded by a light blue background. In the top left corner of the blue background, there is a red cross shape. The most important elements on the board are the duck feet. These are two massive brown Hungry Doors sitting right over the ant nest. The left door requires 500 ants to clear, and the right door requires 600 ants to clear. Inside the white sunglasses, you will also find a light blue Connected Box labeled with the number 60. Your tray at the bottom of the screen provides a mix of Light Blue, Black, Yellow, Orange, Brown, White, and Red blocks.

What It Takes to Clear Level 276 Board

You win the level when every single pixel is eaten and your ants leave the screen. You lose if you pull blocks into all five of your empty waiting slots and none of those ants have an open path to their target color. Because the brown Hungry Doors block the entrance, every ant you send to the background or the outlines will walk over these doors and reduce their numbers. You must send massive waves of ants to the background first. This gives your ants a long open path to travel, keeping your waiting slots empty while simultaneously feeding the 500 and 600 counts on the brown doors. You will slowly introduce new colors only after their specific paths open up.

Colony Flow Level 276 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Unleash the light blue and black waves to start wearing down the doors

Your immediate goal is to open up the board and start reducing the massive numbers on the brown Hungry Doors. Tap the large Light Blue and Black blocks from your starting tray. You will see numbers like Light Blue 55 and Black 50. As these ants pour out of the circular nest hole at the bottom, they run directly over the 500 and 600 brown blocks. The Hungry Doors eat a portion of your ants and drop their counts, while the rest of the ants continue up the board to chew on the blue background and black duck outlines. Keep pulling Light Blue and Black blocks to maintain a steady flow. Do not touch any other colors yet because they have nowhere to go.

Step 2: Keep the pressure on the hungry doors and clear the background

screenshot

The brown Hungry Doors require a huge amount of continuous traffic to break. Watch the numbers on the brown feet drop from the 500s down into the 300s and 400s. Your five wait slots will empty out quickly because the Light Blue and Black ants have wide open paths all over the board. Feed more Light Blue blocks into the empty slots. You will notice the blue background starting to vanish entirely, especially around the top right and top left edges. The black ants are busy stripping away the thick black outline around the duck body. Keep your five wait slots active but never pull a color you do not see a clear physical path for.

Step 3: Target the connected box inside the sunglasses

screenshot

There is a specific Light Blue Connected Box labeled 60 sitting right inside the duck frames. Once the outer blue background is mostly gone, your Light Blue ants will automatically target this 60 block. Pull the remaining Light Blue blocks from your tray to supply enough ants for this task. You will see the brown Hungry Doors drop even further down into the 100s and 200s as these new ants pass through the entrance. The black outline around the glasses will also break down at this time. This action opens the inner white tiles of the sunglasses so you can reach them later.

Step 4: Introduce yellow and orange to the board

screenshot

With the black outlines thinning and the Light Blue background heavily reduced, the yellow body and orange beak become exposed. Now is the correct time to start pulling Yellow and Orange blocks from the bottom tray. Pull an Orange 7 block or a Yellow 16 block to get these colors moving. The yellow ants will begin eating the top and sides of the duck head, while the orange ants head straight for the center beak. Because you waited until the black outline was broken, these new ants have a valid path and will not jam your waiting slots.

Step 5: Break the left hungry door completely

screenshot

As you pump Yellow and Orange ants onto the board, the left brown Hungry Door will finally hit zero and shatter. This completely removes the 500 block obstacle from the left side of the nest. The right door started at 600 and will be sitting around 137 right now before dropping fast down to 54. This opens up a massive physical gap at the bottom of the board so your ants can stream out of the nest much faster. Keep pulling Yellow blocks in the 30s to clear the large sections of the duck face and the duck body.

Step 6: Clear the red cross and the white sunglasses

screenshot

Look at the top left corner of the board where the red cross shape is now completely exposed because the light blue background is gone. Pull the Red blocks from your tray. The red ants will march all the way up the left side of the screen and eat the cross. At the exact same time, tap the White and Grey blocks to send ants into the sunglasses. The black outline and the light blue 60 block are fully gone, so the White ants can instantly clean up the lenses. Doing these moves simultaneously keeps your tray moving and prevents any single color from hogging the wait slots.

Step 7: Finish the right hungry door and the duck body

screenshot

You are now in the final stretch of the level. Pull the remaining Yellow and Orange blocks to clean up the bottom half of the duck body and the rest of the orange beak. The right brown Hungry Door will finally break under the pressure and completely clear the entrance. You will have a few stray brown outline tiles left on the board around the bottom of the duck wings. Pull the small Brown blocks from your tray to finish them off. Make absolutely sure you only pull the Brown blocks when the yellow tiles blocking them are completely gone.

Step 8: Clear the final pixels to complete the level

The board will now be mostly empty white space. You will have a few random colored blocks left in your tray, usually just small Yellow, Orange, or Light Blue numbers. Scan the board for the last remaining loose pixels. Tap the exact colors you need from the tray. The ants will run out of the nest, eat the final pieces of the duck, and trigger the level complete screen. The secret here is patience. Let the wait slots clear completely before tapping the last few blocks so you do not accidentally cause a last minute slot jam.

Final Thought

This level tests your ability to feed massive entrance barriers while simultaneously managing a large background clear. If you focus heavily on the Light Blue and Black blocks early on, the brown doors will break naturally without you having to stress over them. If you pull a wrong color and jam your slots, do not panic. Watch the video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text. Seeing the exact timing of when to pull the yellow and orange blocks will help you master the board and claim your win.
