Welcome back to another puzzle guide. Today we are tackling Colony Flow Level 700 and this one features a very familiar superhero shape. You will see a massive bat themed character made of red, dark grey, yellow, and light blue tiles. I play every single level to figure out the best approach so you do not have to struggle with trial and error. You will need to carefully manage the waiting tray to avoid a total jam while chewing through hundreds of colored blocks. The scale of this level feels intimidating at first glance because the numbers on the outer tiles are absolutely massive. Do not let the huge numbers scare you. The solution comes down to steady progress and smart block management. I will walk you through exactly how to dismantle this board piece by piece.
Colony Flow Level 700 Overview
What You Are Working With
The board presents a gigantic pixel art picture of a masked hero. The background features huge red sections flanking the character on both the left side and the right side. You will also see brown structures on the outer edges that look exactly like tall city buildings. The main character wears a large dark grey mask or cowl with pointed ears at the top. The face underneath the mask is built with bright yellow and orange tiles. Down at the very bottom you will find a light blue chest symbol.
The bottom tray gives you your starting blocks. You begin with several red blocks of varying sizes along with some dark grey blocks. The path from the nest hole splits toward the bottom of the picture. This layout gives your ants immediate access to the light blue chest piece and the lower sections of the red background. You have exactly five waiting slots available directly above the main block tray. These slots hold your active blocks while the ants do their work.
What It Takes to Clear Level 700 Board
You win this level by matching every color block to its corresponding food tile and completely clearing the picture. The ants will swarm out of the nest hole and eat the tiles matching the color you pull. The numbers on your blocks drop as the ants carry the food away. The block completely disappears from your waiting slot once the number hits zero.
The main danger here comes from the five waiting slots. If you pull five blocks that cannot reach their matching colors the slots will jam entirely. A jammed tray means you lose the level instantly because no new ants can spawn. You must constantly watch the board to ensure the blocks you pick have a direct open path. The strategy revolves around pacing your pulls. You want the ants constantly moving but you never want blocks sitting idle in the slots waiting for a path to clear.
Colony Flow Level 700 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Tap the initial red and dark grey blocks to start opening the bottom edges.
You want to get the ants moving immediately on the massive outer sections. Look at your starting tray and select a red block to send ants to the lower left and lower right red tiles. You can also select a dark grey block to start chipping away at the bottom of the mask. The red ants will begin tearing down the massive piles on the sides of the board. The dark grey ants will head straight for the lower center sections just above the chest. Keep an eye on the light blue chest piece at the bottom. You will see light blue blocks appear in your tray shortly after your first few moves. Put one in the waiting slot as soon as it appears so your ants can begin dismantling that chest area. Clearing the bottom creates a much wider path for the rest of your colony to reach the upper sections of the picture. You must prioritize widening this bottom path early on.
Step 2: Feed the light blue blocks into the tray to clear the chest symbol.
Once the bottom edges recede you will have a clear shot at the light blue chest tiles. Tap the light blue blocks from your tray to send a fresh wave of ants out of the nest hole. They will quickly devour the chest section piece by piece. This action completely removes the barrier blocking the lower face and the yellow belt area. You must clear this lower section before you can even think about reaching the orange and yellow tiles forming the face. Pull another red block into your waiting slots to keep the background shrinking while the light blue ants finish their job. Managing multiple colors at once keeps your board progressing and prevents any single color from choking the available paths. The light blue tiles will vanish completely and leave a nice wide open gap in the lower center of the screen.
Step 3: Use yellow and orange blocks to carve out the face section.
With the chest barrier gone your ants can finally access the yellow and orange tiles. The tray will provide yellow and orange blocks exactly when you need them. Pull a yellow block up to the waiting area first. The yellow ants will rush in and start eating the chin and mouth area of the hero. Watch for an orange block to appear and pull it up next. The orange tiles sit slightly higher up the face. You must clear the yellow tiles directly below them to give the orange ants a valid open path. If you pull the orange block too early it will sit in your waiting slot and take up valuable space. Wait until the yellow ants carve a clear opening before you commit the orange block. The face will slowly disappear and create a massive vertical channel straight up the middle of the board.
Step 4: Keep chipping away at the red background and brown buildings.
The red background sections start with incredibly high numbers. You will see hundreds of red tiles stacked on the left and right sides of the hero. You must constantly feed red blocks into your waiting slots throughout the entire level to keep pace. Whenever you have a free spot in your tray pull another red block up. The ants will slowly but surely strip away the red background. Eventually they will expose the brown building tiles on the outer edges. When the brown blocks appear in your bottom tray you should tap them immediately. The paths to the outer edges are fully open by this point. The brown ants will march all the way out and clear the buildings. This action gives you even more room to operate on the sides of the mask and keeps your waiting slots cycling nicely.
Step 5: Send white blocks to clear the eyes and finish the yellow face.
As the orange and yellow ants push higher up the face they will reveal the white tiles forming the eyes. These white tiles sit right in the middle of the dark grey mask. You need to pull a white block from the tray as soon as the yellow and orange tiles below the eyes disappear entirely. The white ants will stream up the middle channel and consume the eye tiles. At the same time you should pull any remaining yellow blocks to finish the very top of the face. The entire center of the board will open up once the eyes and face vanish completely. This massive central opening is absolutely crucial for your final moves against the top of the mask. You now have direct access to the most heavily guarded tiles on the board.
Step 6: Empty the final red blocks to completely remove the background.
The top corners of the red background are the very last red pieces to go. You will receive several large red blocks in your tray near the end of the level. Pull these up into your waiting slots one by one. The red ants will travel all the way up the sides and finish off the remaining red tiles. You must wait until the red tiles are completely gone before you focus all your attention on the dark grey mask. If you pull too many dark grey blocks now you will fill your waiting slots and block the red ants from finishing their job. Always clear the outer edges before you attempt to finish the top center. The board will look extremely clean once the red background finally disappears.
Step 7: Clear the remaining dark grey cowl to finish the level.
The final remaining tiles will form the top of the dark grey mask including the pointed ears. You should have a completely clear board except for this top center section. Your bottom tray will only contain dark grey blocks at this point. Pull them into the waiting slots steadily. The dark grey ants will march straight up the middle of the empty board and devour the last remaining tiles. The ants will split to the left and right to consume the ears once the middle is clear. The numbers on your final dark grey blocks will count down exactly to zero as the last tile disappears. The entire board will wipe clean and you will secure your victory. Watching that last piece vanish is incredibly satisfying after managing so many blocks.
Final Thought
Colony Flow Level 700 requires constant attention to your waiting slots and a steady rhythm of clearing the bottom layers first. You must always maintain an open path for your ants to reach their targets. Take your time and make sure you do not trap yourself by pulling blocks too early.
