Welcome to Colony Flow Level 920 where you face a massive pixel art clam shell. This puzzle requires careful tray management because a huge hungry door blocks the center of the board. I play every level myself and this one demands a smart approach to clear the surrounding water before you can even touch the shell. You need steady hands and patience to let your ants finish their tasks. Let me guide you through the exact moves to beat this board.

Colony Flow Level 920 Overview

What You Are Working With

The main picture features a large bright clam shell resting against a massive white background grid. The shell incorporates pink purple cyan and yellow tiles. Right in the middle of the clam sits a large brown Hungry Door displaying the number 50. Down in the block tray you will see massive single blocks and several Connected Boxes that link two colors together with a solid line. You will also notice a Hidden Box covered in a grey question mark sitting near the bottom row.

What It Takes to Clear Level 920 Board

Winning this level requires a systematic approach from the outside in. You must send your ants to clear all the white background tiles first to create walking paths around the shell. Next you have to satisfy the Hungry Door by feeding it fifty purple ants so it vanishes. Once the door is gone it exposes the pink and yellow tiles underneath. You win the game when you consume the entire shell outline and the final border without letting your five waiting slots fill up completely.

Colony Flow Level 920 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Clear the heavy white background tiles first

You start the level facing an enormous amount of white space surrounding the clam shell. The white background acts like a wall keeping you away from the fun part of the puzzle. Look at your tray and find the massive white 70 blocks. Pull one white 70 block into your waiting slot and let the ants pour out of the nest hole. They will run all the way around the outer edges of the shell to eat the white tiles. This takes a lot of time because the number 70 counts down slowly. Keep your waiting slots mostly empty while this happens. Never pull a second block until the first white block is almost finished. Once the first white 70 block clears out you can pull the next white 70 block. Clearing this massive white border is crucial because it opens up the paths you need to reach the colorful details on the clam shell. Rushing this process by pulling another block will immediately fill your tray and ruin your chances.

Step 2: Play the white and yellow connected boxes carefully

screenshot

With the main white perimeter shrinking you will spot Connected Boxes in your tray. You will see a white 68 block linked directly to another white 68 block. Connected boxes always pull together. You cannot separate them. This means pulling one white 68 block drags the second white 68 block into the tray with it. Pulling this pair means two of your five waiting slots get filled instantly. Make absolutely sure the ants have a clear path to the remaining white tiles before you pull this linked pair. The ants will stream out and finish eating the white background. Next you need to target the small yellow starbursts floating near the shell. Find a connected block pair that includes a yellow 15 block and pull it up. The ants will consume the yellow stars. You must watch your waiting slots closely here. Connected boxes are dangerous because they crowd your tray and can cause a quick loss if the ants get stuck.

Step 3: Feed purple ants to the Hungry Door

screenshot

Now that the surrounding space is clear you must handle the massive brown Hungry Door in the center of the clam. The door displays the number 50 and requires purple ants to open. The Hungry Door is a unique obstacle because it blocks the center tiles completely. Find a purple 15 block in your tray and pull it up. The purple ants will run out of the nest hole and march straight into the center of the door. They do not eat tiles here. They simply walk inside the door and the number drops from 50 down to 35. Pull another purple block to keep feeding the door. You will see the door number drop to 20 and then keep falling. You must keep sending purple ants until the door count reaches zero. Always wait for one purple block to finish before pulling the next one so you keep your waiting slots open.

Step 4: Clear the exposed pink and yellow inner shell

screenshot

Once the Hungry Door reaches zero it completely disappears from the board. This action reveals a secret layer of bright pink and yellow tiles right in the belly of the clam shell. These tiles were hidden the entire time. This hidden space requires immediate attention. Now you can finally start taking apart the clam itself. Pull a yellow 15 block into your waiting slot. The yellow ants will rush into the newly opened center and eat the yellow square tiles. Next pull a pink block like the pink 10. Pink ants will stream inside and clear the thick pink layer just above the yellow center. This area is tight so you must verify the ants have a valid path through the bottom opening of the shell. Keeping the paths clear prevents the blocks from jamming your limited tray space.

Step 5: Reveal and use the hidden box

screenshot

While you clear the pink and yellow center the blocks in your tray will shift upward. A grey block sits quietly in the lower tray covered by a question mark. It stays hidden until you play the blocks stacked above it. This movement clears the items resting above the grey question mark block. Once the space above it is open the Hidden Box reveals its true color. You will need this newly revealed block to match the remaining tiles on the clam. Often this box turns into a crucial cyan or pink block. Pull it into the waiting slot the moment its matching color becomes accessible on the board. The ants will take care of the corresponding tiles. Handling the Hidden Box properly is a big relief because it removes a dead block from your tray and gives you more room to maneuver your upcoming choices.

Step 6: Dismantle the cyan lower rim

screenshot

The bottom half of the clam shell features a long thick cyan rim that curves upwards. The cyan blocks clear the curved bottom sections of the shell. Look in your tray for the cyan 15 and cyan 16 blocks. You will notice that many of these cyan blocks are chained to pink blocks. Pull a connected cyan and pink pair into your waiting slot. The cyan ants will march down and eat away the thick lower lip of the shell. Once the cyan block hits zero the pink block takes over. The pink ants will then target the upper pink arches of the shell. This continuous flow of two colors works perfectly to dismantle the main body of the clam. You must let the ants finish their current task before pulling any more blocks. Piling too many connected boxes into the waiting slots at this stage guarantees a loss.

Step 7: Consume the final purple outer border

screenshot

Only the dark purple outline of the clam shell remains on the board. The final tiles always seem to take the longest because the ants must walk the furthest distance. This border wraps around the entire shape so the ants have a long way to travel. Look at your tray to find the final purple blocks. You will see a purple 8 and a purple 7 waiting for you. Pull the purple 8 block into the slot. The purple ants will run from the nest hole and climb all the way to the top edge of the board to eat the highest purple tiles. Then pull the purple 7 block to clean up the very last pieces on the lower corners. The purple border outlines the entire clam shell from the bottom corners to the top peak. The ants will eat every single purple tile until the board is completely empty. The screen clears and you win the level.

Final Thought

Winning this level feels incredibly satisfying once that massive central door finally cracks open. You just need to respect the connected boxes and never rush your block pulls. I encourage you to watch the video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text. The visual guide makes the ant paths and tray combinations crystal clear.
