Welcome to another guide where I break down my experience playing Colony Flow Level 526. This stage features a fantastic pixel art picture of a massive whale spouting water beneath a bright sunny sky. The layout looks simple at first glance but it requires careful block management to keep your ants moving without jamming your slots. I will walk you through exactly how I cleared this board so you can beat it too.

Colony Flow Level 526 Overview

What You Are Working With

The picture displays a large whale with a dark purple body and a bright white belly. The background consists of a light blue sky and a dark blue ocean section below the whale. A tall white water spout shoots up from the top of the whale head and spreads out across the sky. You will also notice a yellow key floating on the left side of the sky and a green key resting near the top right of the water spout. These keys are crucial elements for your progression. Down in your tray you have a mix of dark purple, light blue, white, and dark blue blocks. The numbers on these blocks range from ten up to forty. There is a restricted section in your tray protected by a bright green lock. You must collect the green key on the board to open this lock and gain access to the blocks underneath. The board provides five waiting slots for your blocks. If you fill all five slots with blocks that have no open path to their matching colors you will jam the board and lose the level instantly.

What It Takes to Clear Level 526 Board

To win this level you need to completely erase the whale and the surrounding water. You start by chipping away at the outer edges of the whale body and the open sky. As the outer layers vanish the inner sections open up for your colony. You must carefully sequence your dark purple and light blue blocks to carve a path inward toward the center. Once the outer shell is broken you can introduce white blocks to target the exposed belly and the water spout. You also need to deploy dark blue blocks to clear the lower ocean tiles once the path is clear. Routing your ants to the yellow and green keys is mandatory because the final tray blocks remain completely trapped until those keys are collected by your swarm. Victory happens when every single pixel is eaten by your colony and the board is completely empty.

Colony Flow Level 526 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Open the outer boundaries of the picture using light blue and dark purple blocks.

You begin this level staring at a solid wall of colored pixels. The ants need an immediate place to start eating so you must target the edges. Tap the forty dark purple block and the thirty eight light blue block from the top row of your tray. The ants stream out of the nest hole and immediately attack the bottom corners of the whale and the outer edges of the sky. Watch as the numbers on your tray blocks count down quickly. The forty dark purple block quickly drops into the twenties as the ants find their targets. The light blue ants chew through the left and right borders of the picture. The dark purple ants begin dismantling the tail and lower body of the large whale. This dual attack creates vital entry points into the dense center of the design. You want to keep the momentum going so pull another thirty eight dark purple block to sustain the assault on the whale body. By focusing entirely on the exposed edges first you ensure that your initial blocks find valid paths and do not sit idle in your waiting slots.

Step 2: Deepen your reach into the whale body and sky while managing tray space.

With the lower corners opened up your colony now has much more surface area to work with. The dark purple whale body is quite large so you will need to commit another dark purple block to keep the ants busy. Bring up the thirty five dark purple block from your tray. At the exact same time pull a forty light blue block to continue clearing the wide open sky. Your waiting slots will hold several blocks now but they will constantly drain because the paths remain completely unobstructed. You will see your first light blue block drain down to five before completely vanishing from the slot. The ants easily navigate around the cleared bottom edges to reach fresh pixels higher up. You will notice the white belly of the whale becoming exposed as the dark purple tiles disappear. Do not pull white blocks just yet. Wait until a substantial portion of the belly is fully accessible to prevent any accidental slot jams. Focus purely on stripping away the dark purple and light blue layers until the core of the picture sits exposed.

Step 3: Deploy white and dark blue blocks to target the belly and the lower ocean.

Now that the outer shell is mostly gone the white belly and the dark blue ocean tiles sit wide open. It is time to diversify your active colors and expand your attack. Select a thirty white block and a forty dark blue block from the tray. The ants pour out of the nest and split directions naturally. The white ants swarm the lower section of the whale to eat the belly tiles. The dark blue ants head straight for the lower half of the background to clear the dark ocean water. You will see the overall shape of the whale start to break apart completely. During this busy phase you must keep a close eye on your five waiting slots. You have four different colors active at once which can be risky. Watch the white block drop from thirty down to eighteen as the belly vanishes. Let the numbers drain down significantly before pulling anything new. The dark blue ocean section clears out rapidly and the white belly disappears shortly after. This leaves the top water spout and the upper sky as your next major targets.

Step 4: Guide the colony toward the keys to unlock the restricted tray blocks.

The yellow key and the green key sit securely in the upper sections of the picture. You need to reach them to unlock the final blocks and finish the level. Pull another thirty white block to send a fresh wave of ants crawling up the central water spout. At the same time bring up another forty light blue block to clear the remaining sky tiles around the spout branches. The ants will naturally progress upward and consume the tiles holding the yellow key first. Collecting the yellow key helps clear the board but your primary objective is the green key. The green key rests securely on the right side of the water spout. You must maintain a steady flow of light blue and white ants to chew through the surrounding pixels. Bring up a thirty five dark purple block to finish off the very last pieces of the whale tail on the right side. Watch the dark purple block drop to fourteen as the tail disappears completely. This action clears the final obstacles blocking the path to the top right corner. The ants will finally reach the green key and collect it for you.

Step 5: Open the green lock and unleash the final wave of ants.

The moment your colony grabs the green key the bright green lock in your tray pops open instantly. This grants you full access to the crucial final blocks needed to finish the level. By this point your board consists only of the upper water spout branches and a few scattered sky tiles. Tap the newly unlocked thirty white block and the forty light blue block from the tray. The waiting slots might look full for a brief second but the paths to the top are completely wide open. The white block quickly drains down to ten as the ants rush straight up the center to devour the top branches of the spout. The light blue block drops down to five as the ants flood the upper corners to eat the last remaining sky pixels. You will also use a small dark purple block to clean up the very last pixels of the tail. Just let the colony do their final work. The ants will systematically hunt down every single remaining colored square. The numbers in your waiting slots drop to zero rapidly. The final pixel vanishes and your screen clears completely. You have successfully conquered the board without ever risking a dead end.

Final Thought

This level requires patience and very careful sequencing to keep your pathways clear. Always prioritize the outer edges before moving inward to the belly and the water spout.
