Colony Flow Level 60 brings a beautiful pixel art night scene to your screen. You have to command your ants to eat a massive dark blue sky and a white swan floating on light blue water. The sheer number of tiles can feel overwhelming at first glance. You just need to manage your five slots carefully so the ants always have a clear path to their food.

What You Are Working With

The picture shows a large white swan swimming in the center of the board. A bright yellow moon and scattered yellow stars sit in the upper half of the image. The background is a massive dark blue night sky that wraps around the top and the sides. Below the swan you see light blue water with small yellow reflections mixed in. Your tray starts with very large numbered blocks. You see a huge dark blue block and a massive yellow block right away. You also face the lock and key mechanic in this level. Several blocks in your lower tray have heavy padlocks on them. You cannot pull these locked blocks into your active slots until you collect the corresponding keys from the board. You can spot a green key sitting right on the top edge of the yellow moon. A blue key rests on a yellow star on the right side of the sky. A red key sits on the far right edge of the light blue water.

What It Takes to Clear Level 60 Board

Clearing this level requires you to work your ants from the outside edges inward. The dark blue sky surrounds almost everything else and acts like a thick wall. If you try to pull colors like light blue too early, those ants will have no open path to reach the water. They will immediately get stuck in one of your five waiting slots. The core rule of the game is that if you fill all five slots with blocked ants, you lose the level instantly. You must open the outer perimeter first to give your ants room to breathe. Once the dark blue tiles start disappearing, you can carve your way toward the scattered keys. Collecting these keys is the only way to unlock the rest of your tray and access the blocks you need for the water and the moon. You have to balance chewing away the big colors while hunting down the keys to keep your tray flowing smoothly.

Colony Flow Level 60 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Open the outer edge by deploying your largest blocks

You begin by pulling the massive dark blue block numbered 109 from your tray. The entire outer border of the picture is made of dark blue sky tiles. Pulling this block sends a huge swarm of dark blue ants pouring out of the center nest hole. They march up and chew away the perimeter of the night sky. The 109 block counts down rapidly to 28 as the ants flood the board. You also pull the yellow block numbered 84 and watch it drop to 55. You pull the white block numbered 34 and watch it decrease to 20. The white ants march straight to the top of the swan to start eating the head and neck. The yellow ants find an open path to the lower stars and the water reflections. This opens up three active streams of ants and keeps your slots perfectly clear.

Step 2: Feed the active paths to shrink the night sky

The large dark blue block will take a long time to finish. You must keep the pressure on the board by pulling the next dark blue blocks into your open slots as soon as they fit. You pull a dark blue block numbered 35 and watch it drop to 17. You pull another dark blue block numbered 25 and watch it hit zero. The dark blue ants continue to eat their way inward from the edges toward the center. You also pull the next white block numbered 35 and watch it decrease to 20 to keep clearing the main body of the swan. You want the white ants to eat a deep hole into the center of the picture. This creates a much shorter path for future ants to travel straight up from the nest hole. Your slots remain clear because the sky and the swan are fully exposed to the nest.

Step 3: Collect the blue key and the red key on the right

The dark blue ants eventually chew away enough of the right side of the sky to expose a small star. This star holds the blue key. You pull a small yellow block numbered 50 and watch it drop to 30 to send ants to eat that star. Collecting the blue key unlocks a matching block down in your lower tray. Down at the bottom right corner, the ants eat away the edge of the light blue water to grab the red key. This unlocks another block in your tray that you will need very soon. You now have access to fresh blocks that you desperately need to finish the bottom half of the board. Always make sure you do not pull a locked color until the key is actually collected and the padlock vanishes completely from the tray.

Step 4: Attack the water below the swan

With the red key collected, you unlock a large light blue block in your tray. The white ants have eaten enough of the swan to expose the top layer of the water underneath it. You pull the light blue block numbered 65 into a waiting slot and watch it decrease to 30. A massive wave of light blue ants streams out of the nest hole. They march down into the water section under the swan and start clearing the waves. You also pull another white block numbered 20 and watch it drop to zero as they clear the belly and the tail of the swan. The ants are now attacking the board from the top and the bottom simultaneously. You keep your slots from jamming because both the white tiles and the light blue tiles are wide open and easy for the ants to reach.

Step 5: Erase the last of the dark blue sky

screenshot

The night sky is now reduced to a small patch directly around the yellow moon. You pull the remaining dark blue blocks numbered 32 and 17. The 32 drops to 8 and the 17 drops to 9 as the dark blue ants rush straight up the middle of the board. They finish off the last of the sky tiles. Once the sky is completely gone, you do not have to worry about dark blue blocks taking up space in your tray anymore. This frees up your tray and your slots for the final push on the remaining colors. You pull another white block numbered 30 and watch it drop to zero to finish the last few tail feathers of the swan. The picture is now mostly just the yellow moon at the top and the light blue water at the bottom.

Step 6: Clear the water and collect the green key

screenshot

You pull the final light blue block numbered 9 and watch it hit zero to finish the waves at the very bottom of the picture. The light blue ants clear the remaining water tiles and vanish into the nest. Now you pull a yellow block numbered 55 and watch it decrease to 31 to attack the moon. The yellow ants climb all the way up the empty board and eat the top edge of the moon where the green key sits. Collecting this final green key unlocks the last yellow block in your tray. You could not touch this block earlier because the green key was trapped at the very top of the board behind the sky. Waiting until the end to collect it was the only safe strategy to keep your slots from filling up with dead ends.

Step 7: Consume the moon to win the level

screenshot

You now have a tray full of small yellow blocks ready to go. You pull the yellow block numbered 27 and watch it count down to zero. You pull the yellow block numbered 26 and watch it drop to 12. The ants rush out and eat the center of the huge yellow moon. You pull the final yellow block numbered 31 and watch it hit zero to clear the last few moon tiles and the remaining scattered stars. The last tile disappears and the board is completely empty. The ants finish their routes and you win the level. You kept your slots open the entire time by carefully timing your moves from the outside of the picture inward.

Final Thought

Level 60 tests your patience and your slot management skills heavily. You have to let the big blocks do their work on the perimeter before you can rush the keys in the center of the board. If any of these steps give you trouble, you can watch the video above this article. The video shows every single move I made in real time so you can match the timing perfectly. Keep your slots open, hunt down those keys, and you will clear this board without breaking a sweat.
