Colony Flow Level 124 presents a beautiful pixel art sunset scene featuring a classic lighthouse and a cozy home. You need careful planning to clear this board because the picture is large and dense with many vibrant colors. I play every level myself to find the absolute safest routes for you to use. Let us dive into the best strategy to clear this board without jamming your slots or running out of moves.

Colony Flow Level 124 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board displays a tall white lighthouse with a red cap on the left side of the screen. Next to the lighthouse sits a white house with a matching dark red roof and light blue windows. Below the buildings you will find a layer of solid green grass. The background is a massive vibrant sky made of yellow orange pink and purple horizontal bands. The tray holds blocks with very high numbers like forty or fifty. There are no hidden traps or tricky special tiles on this board. You are facing a massive wall of solid food blocks that you must break down piece by piece.

What It Takes to Clear Level 124 Board

To win you need to expose new colors by eating away the outer layers of the picture. The five waiting slots at the bottom of your screen are your biggest risk. If you pull a block color that does not have an open path to the matching food tiles it will sit in a slot and block your progress. If all five slots fill up and the ants stop moving you lose the game immediately. You must always match your tray pulls to the colors currently exposed on the outer edges of the pixel art.

Colony Flow Level 124 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Open the board by deploying white and yellow blocks

The tall lighthouse on the left is entirely white and completely exposed to the open space. Pull your first white blocks from the tray right away. These ants will pour out of the nest hole and march straight up the left side to devour the lighthouse tower. At the same time you should pull a large yellow block. The yellow ants will wrap around the right side and start eating the yellow sunset sky near the ground. Your waiting slots remain safe because both of these colors have massive exposed surface areas. The large numbers on these blocks will tick down steadily as the ants swarm the edges and clear the way.

Step 2: Introduce purple blocks to attack the top sky border

With the lower sides busy you should pull a purple block to keep your momentum going. The top border of the sunset sky is solid purple. The purple ants will march all the way up the left wall and spread across the entire top edge of the board. This keeps three different colors working at the exact same time. Your slots will empty out nicely as the white yellow and purple ants continuously feed. You want to keep constant pressure on the outer edges so the inner sections become vulnerable.

Step 3: Keep feeding white blocks to completely clear the tower

The lighthouse requires several large white blocks to completely vanish from the board. Keep pulling white blocks from the tray as long as the tower remains visible. You also need to pull more yellow blocks to chew through the remaining lower bands of the sky. The yellow ants will form a long continuous line around the right side and start carving a deep path into the orange sky layer above them. Always watch the board closely to ensure the color you pull actually has a clear route to its matching food tiles.

Step 4: Target the red lighthouse cap and the new orange sky

Once the white lighthouse tower shrinks down the dark red cap at the top becomes fully exposed. Pull a dark red block to send a fresh wave of ants up the left side to eat the cap. Meanwhile the yellow ants have exposed the orange sky band on the right side. Pull an orange block so those ants can move in and start clearing the middle layer of the sunset. This dual approach strips the top left and middle right sections simultaneously. Your slots stay perfectly clear because these new colors have plenty of open tiles to consume.

Step 5: Attack the main house roof and the light blue windows

As the board opens up the white house on the right side becomes accessible to your colony. Send more white ants to eat the walls of the house. This action reveals the light blue windows hidden inside the structure. Pull a blue block to clear those small window details. You must be extremely careful with small details like the windows. Only pull the blue block when you know the white walls around it are gone. If you pull blue too early it will sit in your slot and block other colors. At the same time pull another dark red block to start clearing the main roof of the house.

Step 6: Unleash pink blocks on the giant central sky cloud

The largest remaining section is the giant pink cloud situated in the very middle of the sky. The orange and yellow ants have finally cleared a wide open path to it. Pull your large pink blocks right now. The pink ants will flood into the center and eat massive chunks of the sky in record time. Because this pink section is so incredibly large you can safely pull two pink blocks back to back. They will drain quickly and free up their slots for the final stages of the level.

Step 7: Clear the green grass along the bottom edge

screenshot

The green grass at the base of the buildings is completely open by this point in the level. Pull a green block to send ants directly to the bottom left and bottom right corners. These tiles are very close to the nest hole so the ants will reach them almost instantly. The green blocks usually have smaller numbers so they will empty out of your waiting slots in just a few seconds. This rapid clearing helps you rotate new colors into the tray for the final cleanup phase.

Step 8: Clean up the remaining scattered pixels

The final phase involves clearing small leftover patches of purple pink and white tiles. You will see scattered purple pixels around the outer frame and a few stubborn pink tiles hovering in the middle. Pull your remaining purple and pink blocks to finish the job. Since the board is mostly empty the ants will travel extremely fast across the open space. Pay very close attention to your slots right now. Only pull a block if you see its exact color remaining on the board. One careless pull could jam your slots just before the finish line. The ants will swarm the final few blocks and clear the screen completely for a solid win.

Final Thought

This level is all about pacing your block pulls and reading the layers of the picture from the outside moving in. If you manage your large numbers early the small details at the end will fall into place naturally. Keep your eyes on those five waiting slots and never rush a color that is blocked by another layer.
