Welcome to Colony Flow Level 592 where we tackle a massive pixel art portrait. You will guide your hungry ant colony to devour a character with dark hair and a light blue shirt. I played through this exact puzzle and will show you how to clear every single tile without jamming your board.

Colony Flow Level 592 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board features a large pixel art character portrait surrounded by a solid white tile background. The figure stands with dark shoes and white shorts at the very bottom near the nest hole. Moving up you see a light blue shirt and a pale skin tone face. Thick dark hair rests at the very top of the head. Your block tray at the bottom holds a large sequence of numbered color blocks. You start with high number black and white blocks in the tray. You also have a Lock and Key mechanic in this level. A yellow padlock blocks access to deeper layers of the tray initially. You must collect the matching yellow key on the board to open it. Later you will uncover a blue padlock that requires its own blue key to progress.

What It Takes to Clear Level 592 Board

To win you must completely feed the portrait to your ants. The main challenge comes from the sheer volume of black and white tiles making up the background and hair. You must balance pulling these high number blocks into your five waiting slots. If you pull too many blocks that the ants cannot reach right away you will fill the five slots and fail the level immediately. You succeed by opening paths from the bottom up and matching blocks only when the ants have a clear line of sight to those specific colors. Keeping at least one path active guarantees your ants never stop moving.

Colony Flow Level 592 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Open the bottom boundary by targeting the shoes and shorts

The ants stream from the nest hole right at the bottom center of the screen. You need to give them immediate work to prevent a traffic jam at the start. Pull the red 2 block to clear the small red belt detail near the waist. Immediately pull a black 14 block and a white block to start clearing the shoes and the bottom edge of the shorts. Letting the ants chew through the bottom boundary creates a wide open space for them to spread left and right. This keeps your five waiting slots from filling up with useless colors while the board opens up.

Step 2: Balance the early tray pulls to avoid slot jams

screenshot

You will see a black 40 block and a white 40 block sitting in your tray early on. Do not pull both of these massive blocks at the same time. The ants only have a narrow path to the black shoes and the white shorts right now. If you fill your waiting slots with high numbers the ants will take too long to clear them out. You will lock yourself out of pulling the light blue blocks you need for the shirt. Pull just one large block and wait for the ants to reduce the number before pulling another.

Step 3: Feed the light blue blocks to clear the shirt

Once the shoes and shorts disappear the ants can finally reach the light blue shirt. Pull a light blue 19 block into your waiting slots. Pair this with a skin color 54 block to start working on the hands dropping down by the waist. The ants will swarm the lower half of the portrait and rapidly eat the shirt tiles. Wait until the light blue block counts down close to zero before pulling the next one from the tray. You have a light blue 25 block and a light blue 35 block waiting below to finish the clothing.

Step 4: Manage the white blocks on the lower background

While the ants eat the shirt you must also keep them working on the white background tiles. Pull a white 36 block into an open slot. The ants will begin marching up the lower left and right corners of the portrait. Expanding this outer path is a great strategy for success. It creates multiple angles of attack for your entire colony. Having ants working on the center shirt and the outer white border simultaneously ensures a steady flow of resources and keeps your tray moving.

Step 5: Unlock the yellow padlock to reveal more tray blocks

As the ants clear the lower sections of the picture they will collect the yellow key hidden in the pixels. This action removes the yellow padlock from your tray automatically. Unlocking this section gives you access to crucial black and white blocks hidden underneath. You need these exact blocks to sustain the attack on the large white background flanking the character. Pull a new white block into an empty slot right after the lock disappears. The ants will continue their march up the sides of the portrait.

Step 6: Clear the face using the large skin color blocks

With the shirt completely gone your ants will reach the face. This area requires a massive amount of skin tone tiles. You should already have the skin color 54 block active in your tray from an earlier move. This high number block will sit in your waiting slot for a long time while the ants slowly dismantle the cheeks and forehead. Because this block occupies a slot permanently for this phase you only have four slots left to juggle the other colors. Plan your moves carefully to keep those remaining four slots rotating efficiently.

Step 7: Clear the intricate facial details

The face contains several small details made of black tiles. These include the eyes and the mouth. You will see smaller black blocks in your tray like a black 5 block. Pull this block to let the ants clear the facial features quickly. Removing the eyes and mouth opens up new paths through the middle of the face. This allows the ants to reach the upper sections of the skin tone tiles much faster. Keep a close watch on the remaining white background tiles and clear them slowly to maintain your outer paths around the head.

Step 8: Unlock the blue padlock and attack the hair

Clearing the upper sections of the face and the surrounding background will eventually collect the blue key. The blue padlock in your tray will pop open and grant you access to the final reserves of black blocks. The top of the head consists entirely of thick black hair tiles. Pull a black 35 block and a black 38 block into your slots. The ants will rush up the cleared center channel and begin tearing into the bottom edge of the hair.

Step 9: Surround the remaining hair from all sides

The white background tiles form a complete border around the top of the head. Pull your final white blocks to encourage the ants to march all the way around the outer edge of the board. Opening this outer loop is a massive help. It allows the ants to attack the black hair from the top and the sides simultaneously rather than just from the bottom. The numbers on your white blocks will rapidly drop as the entire perimeter vanishes. Your waiting slots will free up quickly giving you total control over the final moves.

Step 10: Empty the final black blocks to finish the puzzle

Only the dense black hair remains at the top center of the board. Your tray holds several black blocks with numbers like 20 and 33. Since the entire perimeter is open you can safely pull all these black blocks into your available waiting slots. A massive swarm of ants will enclose the remaining hair tiles from every single direction. Watch the numbers on the black blocks tick down as the ants consume the final pixels. The board will completely clear and you will beat the level.

Final Thought

Navigating this level requires careful management of your limited tray slots and a steady progression from the bottom up. Please watch the video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text. Good luck with your puzzle solving.
