Welcome to Colony Flow Level 311 where you tackle a beautifully designed board shaped exactly like the flag of Brazil. This level throws locked tray blocks at you right from the very beginning and forces you to dig deep into the pixel picture to find the hidden keys. You play this board by carefully balancing your block choices so your ants always have an open route to march on. Let me walk you through the exact moves I use to beat this level without ever clogging up the waiting tray.
Colony Flow Level 311 Overview
What You Are Working With
The board features a massive green outer rectangle that completely surrounds a large yellow diamond and a central blue globe with a curved white stripe. You have Lock and Key mechanics dominating your tray and your strategy. Three colored keys sit directly on the board. A light blue key rests high up in the blue circle. A green key sits near the top edge of the circle. A yellow key is tucked into the upper right side of the yellow diamond. Down in your tray you will find locked blocks matching those exact key colors. You also have connected green boxes which are linked together by a thick line. You cannot use the locked blocks until your ants eat the specific food tiles holding the corresponding keys. You have a white block waiting for that center stripe alongside various numbered green, yellow, and blue blocks.
What It Takes to Clear Level 311 Board
Winning this level means collecting all three keys to open up your tray completely so you can sweep the final tiles. You must carefully manage your five waiting slots at all times. If you tap blocks from the tray that cannot reach their matching color tiles on the board those slots will fill up fast. Once all five slots jam with blocks that have no open paths you instantly lose the level. You clear this board by working directly from the bottom flat edge up toward the center globe to free those keys as fast as possible. Once the keys are securely in your possession the board completely opens up and you can flood the remaining green and yellow sections with massive swarms of ants.
Colony Flow Level 311 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Open the bottom center border
Start by tapping your first dark blue block and a yellow block to break the outer shell at the bottom of the picture. The ants stream out of the dark nest hole at the bottom of the screen and start eating away the flat bottom edge of the yellow diamond and the blue circle. You also want to tap one of your initial dark green blocks to start chewing on the green outer border. Keep your eyes firmly on the waiting slots while this happens. Because the bottom edge of the design has all three of these colors perfectly exposed your ants will immediately find active paths. The numbers on your chosen blocks will count down quickly as the ants do their heavy lifting and clear the initial entryways.
Step 2: Carve a path to the blue key
Your next major goal is the light blue key sitting inside the center circle. Send up another dark blue block to keep the ants moving upward into the globe. You will see the blue path start to narrow as it cuts deeper into the middle of the design. You should support this upward push by playing another yellow block right alongside it. The yellow ants clear the sides of the diamond and give your blue ants much more physical room to maneuver. Reaching that blue key clears the light blue lock in your tray and reveals fresh blocks you desperately need to keep your momentum going. Do not tap any of your locked blocks yet or they will just sit in your waiting slots and completely block your flow.
Step 3: Trigger the connected green blocks
Now that the center is opening up nicely you can turn your attention to the outer green rectangle. Tap the connected dark green blocks sitting in your tray. Both of these blocks carry a twenty count and they will move to your waiting slots together taking up two precious spaces instantly. The green ants split up and march toward the bottom left and bottom right corners of the green rectangle. This is a massive help because it clears out a huge chunk of the bottom board and keeps your active slots cycling. These numbers are quite large so they will take a full moment to count all the way down to zero. Let the green ants work their magic and keep your other three slots open for your continuing blue and yellow pushes.
Step 4: Clear the white stripe and collect the green key
With the center fully exposed you finally have a clear working path to the white stripe crossing the blue globe. Tap your white block holding a five count and let the ants clear out that curved line. This action opens up even more of the blue circle and gives you a straight shot to the top. Send in another dark blue block to reach the very top edge of the circle where the green key sits waiting for you. The ants will gobble up the remaining blue tiles and grab the green key along the way. That swift action destroys the green lock down in your tray. Your waiting slots remain totally clear because every single block you play right now has a direct wide open route to its matching color.
Step 5: Expand the yellow path and grab the final key
You have two keys down and only one left to go. The yellow key waits patiently on the upper right side of the yellow diamond. Load up a large yellow block from your newly unlocked tray slots. The yellow ants will swarm the remaining diamond tiles in huge numbers. They push up the right side of the shape and collect the yellow key easily. Now the yellow lock in your tray finally shatters. Every single block in your tray is completely available for you to use. Watch your slot count very closely here. You might have a few leftover green blocks waiting around so only tap your big yellow blocks when you know the path is perfectly clear for them to march.
Step 6: Empty the remaining locks and clear the top edges
The board is now just a hollow shell of its former self. Only the top portions of the green rectangle and a few stray yellow pieces remain untouched. Tap your remaining green and yellow blocks to totally flood the board. The ants will march up the left and right sides and spread across the entire top edge of the picture. You will see several green blocks sitting in your waiting slots counting down at the exact same time. Since the whole top border is totally exposed they will not jam up your tray. The ants will quickly clear the final green pixels and finish the board for a clean victory.
Final Thought
Level 311 requires solid patience and very precise key hunting. You have to crack open the center globe before you can safely clear the massive outer edges. If a text description ever leaves you wondering about a specific move or a certain ant path you should definitely watch the video above this article. Seeing the ants in motion makes the pathing completely clear and helps you time your block taps perfectly.
