Welcome to Colony Flow Level 214. We have a massive sweet tooth today with a huge candy picture filling up the screen. You must carefully peel away the outer wrappers and backgrounds before diving into the colorful sugary centers. I will show you exactly how to dismantle this board without jamming your waiting slots and losing the game.
Colony Flow Level 214 Overview
What You Are Working With
The board shows a massive candy collection made of pixel art tiles. A large round lollipop dominates the entire left side of the picture. Two classic wrapped candies sit stacked on the right side. The whole sweet arrangement rests on a solid light blue background. You will work with an incredibly colorful mix of tray blocks today. The tray provides cyan blocks for the background and dark grey blocks for the thick candy outlines. The candy interiors require magenta, pink, orange, and yellow blocks to clear out completely. The starting tray gives you immediate access to several massive twenty count cyan blocks and heavy fifteen count magenta blocks. There are no hidden boxes or special tiles on this board. You just have a very dense chunk of pixels to dismantle piece by piece.
What It Takes to Clear Level 214 Board
Clearing this board requires you to patiently peel the picture back layer by layer. You must clear the outer light blue background first because those tiles physically block access to the thick dark grey outlines of the candy. Once your ants eat a path through those dark grey borders you can finally send them inside the wrapped candies and the lollipop. You beat the level when the last colorful tile goes down the dark nest hole at the bottom. Your absolute biggest risk here is jamming the five waiting slots. If you tap interior colors like orange or yellow before breaking open the dark grey outlines your ants will have nowhere to go. The board will stall completely. You instantly lose the level if all five slots fill with blocked colors and nobody can move.
Colony Flow Level 214 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Clear the outer background and break the lower borders.
Begin the level by tapping two twenty count cyan blocks and a fifteen count dark grey block from your starting tray. The cyan blocks immediately send out large streams of ants to eat the light blue background on the far left edge and the bottom right corner. The dark grey block is absolutely crucial right now. It targets the bottom edge of the massive lollipop and the lower outer edge of the bottom wrapped candy. You must wait for the cyan ants to clear a small path before the dark grey ants can reach their targets. Once the light blue tiles vanish the dark grey ants will latch onto those dark outlines. This specific sequence prevents your waiting slots from jamming early in the run. Add a ten count pink block to the tray to prepare for the next wave of clearing.
Step 2: Eat the inside of the bottom wrapped candy.
The bottom right candy opens up quickly once its dark grey shell breaks apart. You need to pull a fifteen count orange block and a sixteen count pink block into the waiting slots to capitalize on this opening. The ants will swarm the newly exposed right side of the bottom candy. You will see the orange and pink numbers drop very fast as the workers haul away the sugary interior tiles. At the exact same time you should keep at least one cyan block active in your slots. A fourteen count or an eighteen count cyan block works perfectly here. The cyan ants will continue marching around the outer perimeter to expose the top sections of the board. Keeping the light blue background melting away ensures you never face a dangerous dead end.
Step 3: Attack the swirls of the large lollipop.
Your attention must shift over to the massive lollipop on the left side of the board once its lower dark grey border dissolves. The lollipop contains very thick swirls of magenta, pink, and orange tiles. Tap a twenty count magenta block and drop it into your empty waiting slots. Follow it up with a fifteen count orange block. The ants will flood into the bottom half of the lollipop and start carving out huge chunks of the bright swirl pattern. You must monitor your five waiting slots extremely carefully during this massive push. Do not tap a yellow block yet because the yellow tiles sit deep in the very center of the lollipop. Tapping yellow right now would waste a slot and heavily risk a game over. Wait patiently until the magenta and orange ants eat their way into the middle.
Step 4: Breach the top wrapped candy outline.
The top right wrapped candy remains entirely locked behind its dark grey outline at this stage of the board. You need to break it open so your worker ants can move freely across the whole upper right side. Tap another dark grey block from the tray and let the ants attack the thick outline bordering that top candy. You will also notice a thick wedge of light blue background trapped between the lollipop and the two right side candies. Pull a fresh cyan block to send workers directly into that middle blue wedge. Clearing out this central blue space completely splits the board open and creates a massive shortcut for your ants. They will travel much faster to the top candy once the middle gap is completely clear of obstacles.
Step 5: Consume the top wrapped candy interior.
The top candy is now fully exposed and completely ready for your ants to devour. This specific candy requires a balanced mix of magenta, orange, and pink blocks. Tap a fifteen count magenta block and a ten count pink block to get the clearing process started immediately. The ants will rush the top right corner and tear into the wrapper shapes. You might see a stray dark grey block sitting in your slots right now. That is perfectly fine as long as there are still dark grey outline tiles left anywhere on the board. The dark grey ants will automatically hunt down the final pieces of the candy borders on their own. Just keep feeding magenta and pink blocks into the slots to maintain a very steady flow of workers heading to the top right corner.
Step 6: Finish the center of the large lollipop.
The huge lollipop still has a solid core of colorful tiles remaining on the far left side. You finally have a clear path to the yellow tiles located in the very center of the swirl. Tap a twelve count yellow block and watch the ants rush straight into the heart of the lollipop. You should also tap any remaining orange and pink blocks to help clear out the surrounding swirl layers. The lollipop will shrink down to absolutely nothing as these interior tiles vanish down the hole. Always check the physical board before tapping a new block. If you have three slots filled with pink you must verify there are enough open pink tiles on the board to clear them out. A jammed slot at this late stage ruins all your hard work.
Step 7: Sweep up the final disconnected picture tiles.
The board breaks down into tiny scattered clusters of tiles in the final moments of the level. You will see a few light blue pieces near the top and a handful of magenta tiles scattered around the outer edges. Tap a seventeen count cyan block to clean up the absolute last of the background. Then tap a three count magenta block and an eight count pink block to finish off the final candy scraps. The board is so beautifully open now that the ants will take the shortest straight line to reach their targets. Watch the block numbers count down to zero as the final colorful tiles disappear into the nest hole. Your tray will empty out completely and the screen will clear.
Final Thought
Beating this level comes down to pure patience and careful targeting of those dark outlines. You dictate the pace of the board by keeping the light blue background melting away while systematically breaking open the candies one by one. Take your time and always verify your open paths before filling up the tray. Watch the gameplay video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text. Seeing the ants in motion will clarify exactly how the paths open up.
