Welcome to Colony Flow Level 435. This puzzle requires you to balance opening a massive obstacle with managing the regular flow of your colony. You have a fun nighttime witch scene to uncover. The board features several large color areas that will tempt you to pull too many blocks at once. I will show you how to control the pace and keep your waiting slots completely clear. You will learn exactly how to handle the special tiles and keep your ants moving from start to finish.
Colony Flow Level 435 Overview
What You Are Working With
The picture at the top of your screen shows a classic witch standing in front of a vibrant night sky. The witch features a tall light blue hat, a dark blue dress, a pink face, and thick brown hair. She stands on bright green grass next to a brown wooden fence. The background is a dark purple sky dotted with bright yellow stars. On the right side of the board sits a large brown Hungry Door with a green circle on it. The circle displays the number 71. This Hungry Door covers a significant portion of the picture and blocks your access to the right side completely. The tray at the bottom holds your numbered blocks. You will find dark purple, light blue, green, yellow, pink, brown, white, and dark blue blocks. The tray also contains Connected Boxes linked together by lines. A Hidden Box with a question mark sits further back in the tray waiting to be revealed.
What It Takes to Clear Level 435 Board
Winning this level comes down to feeding the Hungry Door as quickly as possible. The door requires exactly 71 green tiles to open. You must clear the green grass to gather those specific tiles. Until the door opens, the entire right side of the picture remains blocked from your ants. If you pull blocks for colors hidden behind the door, they will sit idle in your waiting slots and cause a dangerous jam. You lose the game if all five slots fill up with blocks the ants cannot reach. To clear the board successfully, you need to pull green blocks to open the door while simultaneously clearing the sky and the witch hat on the left. Once the door vanishes, you gain full access to the white moon and the black cat behind it. From there you simply clear the remaining colors from the outside in to finish the board.
Colony Flow Level 435 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: You must start feeding the Hungry Door and opening the night sky
Your absolute first priority is the green grass at the bottom of the board. The grass borders the Hungry Door and holds the key to opening it. Pull a green block from the tray to send your ants directly to the grass. The requirement number on the Hungry Door starts at 71 and will count down as the ants eat the green tiles. While the ants work on the grass, you also need to open paths on the left side of the board. Pull a dark purple block carrying a 55 to start clearing the massive night sky. Pull a light blue block to begin clearing the top of the witch hat. You will notice a large tile count on the hat starting at 150. This specific strategy splits your colony into three highly active streams. The ants will work on the grass, the sky, and the hat all at the exact same time. This keeps your waiting slots moving rapidly and prevents any single block from stalling the board early on.
Step 2: You need to manage the Connected Boxes and reveal the Hidden Box
As you pull blocks from the top row of the tray, new blocks will slide forward into view. You will quickly notice Connected Boxes linked together. These might be a yellow block connected directly to a pink block. When you pull one of the Connected Boxes, the entire linked group moves into your waiting slots all at once. You must ensure the board has open paths for every single color in that connected group. Look closely at the yellow stars and the pink face on the witch. If those colors are exposed and ready to clear, you can safely pull the Connected Boxes. You will also see a Hidden Box showing a question mark. This box completely conceals its true color until it moves into an active waiting slot. Only pull the Hidden Box when you have at least two empty waiting slots available. If the Hidden Box reveals a color you cannot use right away, you will desperately need those other slots to keep the ants moving and avoid losing the level.
Step 3: Break down the door completely and rush the white moon area
Keep pulling green blocks whenever they appear in your tray. The number on the Hungry Door will drop through the twenties and steadily down to zero. Once you clear the required amount of green tiles, the Hungry Door will completely disappear from the board. This is a huge turning point for the level. The vanishing door reveals a massive white full moon and a dark purple cat silhouette on the right side. You now have a giant new area ready to clear. Immediately pull a white block with a 37 from the tray. The ants will flood aggressively into the white moon area. The moon provides a massive open path that will easily consume very large numbered white blocks. You can also pull a brown block holding a 9 to start clearing the wooden fence located just below the moon. Keep a dark purple block active in your slots to continue chipping away at the night sky and the newly revealed cat shape.
Step 4: Clear the thick witch hair and the scattered yellow stars
With the right side of the board now fully accessible, you can shift some of your focus back to the center of the picture. The tile count on the light blue hat will drop past 86 as it gets mostly cleared out. Pull red or brown blocks to clear the thick witch hair. The hair connects the hat directly to the face and the dress. Clearing the hair opens up deeper underlying layers of the picture for your ants. Next, pull yellow blocks to clear the bright stars scattered across the dark purple sky. The stars act as isolated patches. You want to clear them as soon as the dark purple sky recedes enough to expose them. If you leave the stars for too long, they can block the ants from reaching the sky tiles located behind them. Always monitor your five waiting slots during this critical phase. If you pull a yellow block but the ants cannot reach the stars quite yet, that block will sit there and take up valuable space you cannot afford to lose.
Step 5: Tackle the massive dark blue dress and the wooden fence
The witch wears a very large dark blue dress. This dress contains a remarkably high volume of tiles starting around 130. Pull a dark blue block to get your colony working heavily on the dress. The tile count on the dress will drop down to 79 and keep falling rapidly. The dress acts exactly like the white moon. It provides a wide open path that can absorb very large numbered blocks without stalling. While the ants eat the blue tiles, keep feeding brown blocks to finish off the wooden fence on the right side. Balancing a huge area like the dress with a smaller structural area like the fence keeps your block rotation incredibly healthy. The ants will naturally divide their numbers between the large food source and the smaller remaining visual details. Make sure you clear the edges of the dress evenly. You absolutely do not want the ants to hollow out the center and leave isolated blue tiles stranded on the outer edges.
Step 6: Finish the remaining night sky to complete the final picture
In the final phase of the level, the board will mostly consist of the remaining dark purple sky and the last few tiles of the dark blue dress. The white moon and the green grass should be completely gone by now. Pull the last dark blue blocks to finish the witch character. Pull the remaining dark purple blocks to clear the outer edges of the night sky. The ants will swarm the far borders of the board. Pay very close attention to the exact colors left on the screen right now. Do not pull a block color that no longer exists on the board. Look at the tray and select only the precise colors you need to finish the job. Once your ants eat the final dark purple tile in the top corner, the board will clear completely and you will win the level.
Final Thought
Level 435 tests your ability to prioritize a major obstacle while maintaining a steady flow of ants across the rest of the board. Opening the Hungry Door early gives you the breathing room you need to handle the large volumes of white and dark blue tiles later on. If you find yourself getting stuck or if your waiting slots keep jamming up, take a moment to watch the video above this article. Seeing the exact sequence of block pulls in real time can help you perfect your strategy and keep your colony moving smoothly to victory.
