Colony Flow Level 194 puts a massive piece of pixel art right in the center of your screen. We are looking at a king figure wearing a huge red cape and a bright yellow crown. The trick here is managing your limited space because that massive cape and the thick green background will swallow up your moves if you pull the wrong colors early. You need a solid strategy to carve paths through this giant picture without filling up your waiting area.

What You Are Working With

The picture on this board is a detailed character portrait. You have a king with a pink face and a bright yellow crown. He wears a gigantic red cape that drops all the way down to the bottom of the screen. A dark grey outline surrounds his body and his cape. A thick layer of green background tiles surrounds the upper half of his head and shoulders. You will also notice a round green emblem right in the middle of his chest.

Two special tiles exist on the board. You will see a blue key sitting on the far left edge of the green background. You will see a yellow key sitting on the far right edge of the green background. Down in your block tray you have five empty waiting slots. Below those slots you have a large stack of numbered color blocks. Some of the blocks deep in the stack sit behind a yellow lock and a green lock. You cannot access the bottom rows of your tray until you collect the keys on the board to open those locks.

What It Takes to Clear Level 194 Board

Clearing this level requires a systematic approach from the outside moving inward. You win when every single pixel tile is eaten by the ants and your tray is completely empty. The core challenge revolves around the five waiting slots at the bottom of the screen. If you tap a block and the ants cannot reach their matching color on the board, that block sits stuck in the slot. If you fill all five slots with stuck blocks you instantly lose the level. Your main goal is to clear the outer green area to grab the keys while simultaneously breaking through the bottom of the red cape to open a path to the face.

Colony Flow Level 194 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Send out the first green blocks to eat the outer background

The massive green background offers the easiest open path right from the start. Look at your starting tray and tap the green blocks that hold large numbers. A swarm of green ants will stream out of the nest hole at the bottom of the screen. They will march all the way up the left and right sides of the board to begin chewing away at the massive green shape. This is a very safe starting move because the outside edges of the green shape are completely exposed. Your slots will not jam because the ants have a clear walking path. Let the ants finish their meal before you click too many blocks.

Step 2: Clear the dark grey outline at the bottom of the boots

screenshot

While the green ants are busy at the top you must open the bottom of the picture. The king has dark grey boots and a dark grey border running along the bottom edge of his red cape. Find a dark grey block in your tray and tap it. The black ants will walk straight up from the nest hole and immediately start eating the boots and the bottom border. This step is crucial. The red cape is completely blocked from the bottom until you remove that dark border. Never pull a red block into your tray until the black ants finish eating the very bottom row of dark grey tiles.

Step 3: Unleash the red ants to dismantle the giant cape

Now that the bottom border is broken you have a direct path to the red tiles. The red cape is the largest solid color block in the entire level. Your tray holds multiple red blocks with very high numbers. Tap one of the large red blocks and watch the red ants flood the bottom of the board. They will eat their way upward through the cape. Do not rush this process. Tap one large red block and let the number count down as the ants do their work. If you fill your slots with red blocks you limit your ability to react to the top of the board. Keep a steady flow of red ants moving up the middle.

Step 4: Collect the keys to unlock your lower tray

By this point your green ants have eaten deep into the background. The green tiles shrink back until the blue key on the left and the yellow key on the right are fully exposed. Send up another green block to eat the final tiles touching the keys. The ants will grab the keys automatically when they eat the tiles next to them. The blue key and the yellow key drop down into your tray and smash the locks. This opens up the bottom half of your block stack. You now have access to the pink blocks and the yellow blocks you need for the head and crown.

Step 5: Strip away the upper dark grey outline

screenshot

The red cape is mostly gone and the bottom of your tray is unlocked. You now face the dark grey outline that surrounds the face and the inside of the arms. Find the remaining dark grey blocks in your tray and select them. The ants will march right through the empty space where the cape used to be. They will eat the dark lines bordering the pink face. You must clear these dark lines because they physically block the pink skin tiles. If you pull a pink block too early your slots will jam. Wait for the black ants to strip away the borders completely.

Step 6: Consume the pink face and the green chest emblem

screenshot

With the borders gone the pink face is wide open. Tap the pink blocks from your newly unlocked tray section. The pink ants will march up the center and consume the head and the hands. Around this same time the green tiles in the center of the chest become fully exposed. Pull a small green block to send ants to clear that emblem. Your board is getting very empty now. Only a few scattered red tiles remain near the shoulders. Tap your remaining small red blocks to clean up the last pieces of the cape. Keep your eyes on the paths to ensure every color you tap has a straight shot to its target.

Step 7: Clear the yellow crown and final top background pieces

Only the very top of the board remains. The bright yellow crown sits exposed at the top of the head. Now is the time to tap the yellow blocks in your tray. The yellow ants will rush up the middle of the empty screen and eat the crown. You will likely have a small strip of green background left across the very top edge. Tap your final green blocks to send the last wave of ants. They will finish off the remaining green tiles. Once the final tile disappears and your tray empties out you win the level.

Final Thought

Patience at the beginning of the board makes all the difference here. The huge red cape looks tempting but you must resist touching it until you break the dark border at the bottom. Getting the keys early by eating the outer green background keeps your tray options wide open. If you take your time and clear the colors layer by layer you will never run into a dead end.
