Colony Flow Level 386 drops you into a massive puzzle featuring a cool pixel art bear over a bright sunburst background. Two huge chests sit at the bottom of the board and they soak up hundreds of ants before they break. This board demands careful block management because those large numbers mean you will tie up your ants for long stretches. You have to keep the rest of the board moving so your waiting slots stay empty and ready for new blocks.
Colony Flow Level 386 Overview
What You Are Working With
The board displays a white bear with dark grey outlines. A sunburst pattern of red, orange, and yellow radiates from behind the bear. The most striking features are the two giant brown chests at the bottom left and bottom right. Each chest displays a count of 300 when you start the level. The tray at the bottom holds a dense mix of white, orange, red, and dark grey blocks. You will notice several connected boxes in the tray. These are blocks linked by a physical line. You must pull connected boxes into the waiting slots as a single unit. This mechanic takes up multiple slots at once and severely limits your available space.
What It Takes to Clear Level 386 Board
To beat this level you must clear every colored tile forming the bear and the sunburst while fully breaking down both giant chests. The chests act as massive resource sinks. You need to send continuous streams of ants at them while simultaneously clearing the smaller color blocks above them. Your primary goal is to balance the huge number blocks with smaller quick clears. If you fill your five waiting slots with blocks that cannot reach their target colors, the game ends immediately. You must sequence your pulls so at least one color always has an open path to the board.
Colony Flow Level 386 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Open the initial paths by pulling white and orange blocks
At the very beginning of the level you face a solid wall of tiles blocking access to the deeper parts of the board. You need to get the ants moving immediately to create space. Pull a 50 white block and a 40 orange block from the top row of your tray. The white ants will target the outer edges of the bear while the orange ants will start chewing into the sunburst pattern. You also need to deploy a 35 dark grey block to start clearing the outline of the bear. The ants flow out of the nest and quickly break down the lowest exposed tiles. You will see the numbers on your blocks drop rapidly to zero. This quick action clears the lowest layer and ensures your waiting slots stay clear for the next wave.
Step 2: Start chipping away at the massive chests
Once the bottom layer of tiles is gone, the ants gain access to the two giant brown chests. These chests require a massive amount of ants to clear. Pulling blocks to feed these chests is your next major priority. As you pull blocks that match the colors adjacent to the chests, the ants will split their attention. They will eat the color tiles and also attack the bulky chests. You will see the numbers on the chests hold at 300 for a while as the ants clear the surrounding tiles before finally starting to count down. You must constantly monitor your waiting slots during this phase. Do not pull too many blocks at once. Let the ants work their way through the current numbers before you clutter the waiting area. This guarantees you never jam the board early on.
Step 3: Manage the first set of connected boxes
As you dig deeper into the tray you will encounter your first set of connected boxes. These are a 46 red block and a 19 white block joined by a visible line. When you pull one, the other comes with it automatically. This instantly fills two of your five waiting slots. Before you pull this linked pair, you must ensure both colors have valid open paths on the board. The red ants need access to the sunburst and the white ants need access to the bear. Wait until your other slots are mostly empty. Then pull the connected boxes and watch the ants swarm. The red and white blocks will clear simultaneously and free up your slots safely leaving plenty of room for your next moves.
Step 4: Push the orange ants into the sunburst
With the chests taking damage and the red and white tiles thinning out, the orange section of the sunburst becomes accessible. Your tray reveals several large orange blocks. Pull a 40 orange block to test the path. The orange ants stream out and head for the bright rays of the background. Because the orange area is large, these ants will chew through their numbers quickly. You can then pull larger orange blocks to maintain the momentum. Make sure to alternate with white or dark grey blocks so you are clearing the bear at the same time. Balancing the background and the foreground prevents any single color from blocking the others and keeps your waiting slots rotating smoothly.
Step 5: Navigate the linked orange blocks
Midway through the level you will find another pair of connected boxes in the tray. This time it is a set of orange blocks linked together. The total number of ants required is quite high. Fortunately the orange sunburst provides a massive target area. Verify that the outer edges of the sunburst are fully exposed. Pull the connected orange boxes into the waiting slots. The ants will flood the screen and tear into the orange tiles. The chests at the bottom will also continue to take damage during this massive swarm. The numbers on the chests will drop down to 138. You are making great progress but you must maintain your discipline with the waiting slots to keep the flow moving.
Step 6: Clear the remaining white bear tiles
The bear in the center of the board is now heavily damaged. The solid white interior is exposed and ready for a major assault. Pull the large white blocks from your tray. You will see white blocks with high numbers like 45 and 50. Deploy them one by one. The white ants will surge up the middle of the board and consume the rest of the bear. This opens a massive void in the center of the screen. The dark grey outline pieces are now isolated. Pull a dark grey block to clean up those lingering outline tiles. Clearing the center completely gives your ants shorter travel times to the remaining sunburst rays at the top of the board and prevents white blocks from jamming your slots.
Step 7: Break the giant chests completely
The giant chests are finally nearing their breaking point. Their numbers have dwindled from 300 all the way down to the low double digits. Pull whichever color blocks are currently hitting the chests. The continuous stream of ants will finally finish them off. The chests will shatter and vanish from the board. This is a huge relief because you no longer have to worry about them soaking up your ants. With the bottom corners clear your ants have completely unobstructed access to the top half of the board keeping your waiting slots emptying fast. You can now focus entirely on the remaining background patterns without any distractions.
Step 8: Handle the vertical connected boxes
Your tray now reveals a tricky set of connected boxes. This pair is linked vertically rather than horizontally. It consists of a 35 dark grey block connected to a 40 dark grey block below it. Pulling this pair requires caution. The dark grey tiles on the board are sparse and scattered. If you pull this linked pair too early, the dark grey blocks will get stuck in your waiting slot because the ants have a long travel time to reach their targets. Wait until you have at least three empty slots. Pull the vertical connected boxes and immediately pull a fast clearing 105 red block to keep the flow moving. The dark grey ants will eventually find their targets and clear the block without causing a dead end.
Step 9: Sweep up the final sunburst rays
Only a few sections of the red and orange sunburst remain at the very top of the board. Your tray is mostly clear and your waiting slots are open. Pull the remaining large red block. The ants will rush to the top right and top left corners. They will chew through the last chunks of red. Follow this up with the final orange blocks. The orange ants will consume the remaining rays. Keep your eyes on the paths. The ants have to travel all the way from the nest hole at the bottom to the extreme top edges. This takes time. Do not panic and pull unnecessary blocks. Let the ants do their work and finish their travel so your slots remain open.
Step 10: Final cleanup of isolated tiles
The board is now almost completely empty. You will see just a few stray white, dark grey, and red tiles scattered around the edges. Your tray has only a handful of low number blocks left. Pull them methodically. Match the white block to the white tiles. Match the dark grey block to the dark grey tiles. The ants will quickly dispatch these stragglers. Ensure you keep the flow steady until the very last tile disappears to avoid any last minute jams. The screen will clear completely and you will secure your win.
