Welcome to Colony Flow Level 54. This specific puzzle features a massive colorful mango pixel art piece with a golden key trapped inside the fruit. We need to plan our moves carefully so our ants can reach the key and open up the rest of our block tray. I will guide you through the exact moves to clear the board without jamming your waiting slots. Playing this stage requires a good understanding of pathing and order of operations.

Colony Flow Level 54 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board features a large pixel art mango sitting squarely in the middle of the screen. The fruit has a thick black outline and a big green leaf resting on top. The main body consists of distinct layers of red orange and yellow tiles. White background tiles surround the entire shape on the top and right sides. A golden key sits on the left side of the mango body right where the orange and yellow tiles meet. Down in your block tray you start with a mix of black and white blocks featuring high numbers. Underneath them are hidden boxes marked with question marks and a locked box that requires the golden key to open.

What It Takes to Clear Level 54 Board

Clearing this board means you must first eat away the white background and the black outline. Doing so creates open routes for your ants to reach the inner colored tiles. Once the outer shell breaks you send in orange and yellow ants to uncover the key. Grabbing the key unlocks the bottom section of your tray. From there you match green blocks for the leaf and red blocks for the right side of the mango. You win when every single pixel tile vanishes and the ants return to their nest. The biggest threat is pulling blocks before their matching colors are exposed on the board. This fills your five waiting slots and causes a game over. You must always maintain an open path.

Colony Flow Level 54 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Clear the white background tiles to create space

Your first goal is to expose the outer edges of the mango. Look at your starting tray and select the white block with the number twenty on it. White background tiles tightly surround the top and right side of the fruit. Sending white ants out first gives them immediate access to their target. The ants stream out of the nest hole at the bottom and begin munching away the corners. This action frees up physical space on the screen. It also uncovers the black outline tiles wrapping around the main fruit shape. Keep a close eye on the five waiting slots. You want the white blocks to fully deplete before you pile too many other colors into the queue. Wait until the first batch of white ants makes significant progress on the top right side before you make another move.

Step 2: Break the black outline on the left side

Now that the white tiles are disappearing you have a clear path to the black border. Tap a black block from your tray to send it to the waiting slots. The black ants will march up the left side of the screen and start dismantling the thick dark outline. Removing this border is completely necessary because it acts like a solid wall protecting the orange and yellow interior tiles. As the black block counts down from fifteen you will see the numbers drop rapidly. The left side of the mango opens up entirely. You now have a direct line of sight to the golden key sitting near the middle of the fruit. Do not touch the red or green blocks yet because those colors are still mostly blocked by other solid tiles. Pulling them now would dead end your board and cost you the game.

Step 3: Deploy orange ants to dig toward the key

With the left black border gone the orange tiles are finally exposed and ready to be eaten. Pull an orange block into your waiting slots to activate it. The orange ants rush up the newly opened left side path. They begin eating the curved orange section of the mango body. Your primary objective right now is uncovering the golden key. The key sits right on the strict border of the orange and yellow tiles. By clearing the orange section you expose the top half of the key location. Make sure you leave enough room in your five waiting slots for the ants to finish their current jobs. If you pull a color that cannot reach its target the block will sit there and permanently clog your queue. The orange ants will do their job perfectly and lower the block count until the path to the key is wide open.

Step 4: Send yellow ants to collect the golden key

The top half of the key is exposed but you still need yellow ants to finish the job and trigger the collection. Tap a yellow block from the tray to queue it up. The yellow ants join the swarm and head straight for the center of the mango. They chew through the bright yellow tiles right under the key object. Once they clear the specific tile holding the key a special collection animation plays. You will see a golden lock symbol appear at the bottom of your screen as the key travels down. This action unlocks the restricted section of your tray. It reveals a huge pile of fresh blocks that you desperately need for the rest of the board. The hidden boxes with question marks also start revealing their true colors as they become valid moves.

Step 5: Attack the green leaf at the top of the fruit

Your tray is now full of options and the top of the mango is completely exposed. Tap a green block to target the large leaf section spanning the top. The green ants march straight up the middle and attack the dark and light green pixels. Since the white background and black outline are mostly gone the green ants have multiple angles of attack. You might notice a few stray black tiles left on the far right side of the board. You can pull another black block to let the ants finish that off while the green ants work on the leaf. Mixing two active colors keeps the stream of ants moving and prevents your waiting slots from backing up. The leaf will shrink quickly as the green numbers count down to zero.

Step 6: Clear the red section on the right side

screenshot

The entire left side and top of the mango are now empty space. The remaining fruit mostly consists of red tiles on the right side and a few yellow tiles at the very bottom. Start pulling your red blocks into the active slots. The red ants will flood the right side of the board and consume the fruit. They eat through the thickest part of the mango body. This is a very satisfying part of the level because the ants have a massive open area to travel through without any tight spaces. They will not get stuck on any awkward corners. Keep pulling red and orange blocks as they appear in your tray. Your hidden boxes will flip to show the exact colors you need just in time. Always wait a brief moment before pulling a new block just to ensure the previous one has a clear path.

Step 7: Empty the bottom tray to finish the yellow core

screenshot

Only a handful of yellow and orange tiles remain at the very bottom center of the fruit. Pull the final yellow and orange blocks from your newly unlocked tray section to clean them up. The ants will quickly swarm these last few pixels. You will also see a white block sitting at the very bottom of the tray with a high number. Pull it to clear away the last few remaining background tiles on the far right edge of the screen. Watch the numbers on the blocks drop to zero as the ants devour the final pieces of the puzzle. The waiting slots will empty out one by one. The last few ants will carry their food back down the hole. The board goes completely blank and you successfully win the level.

Final Thought

Level 54 requires extreme patience at the very beginning so you do not trap yourself early on. Breaking the black outline to reach that golden key completely changes the whole momentum of the board. If you follow the correct sequence of colors you will never clog your five waiting slots. I highly recommend taking your time and watching the ant paths closely. Feel free to watch the video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text. Good luck and keep the colony moving forward.
