Welcome to Colony Flow Level 447. This board gives you a charming pixel art picture of a robin singing on a branch to solve. I always enjoy levels with nature scenes because the color palettes make logical sense and the shapes are fun to reveal. You will need a careful strategy to dismantle this complex image without trapping your colony. I played this level to completion to find the exact right order of operations for you. If you follow this guide you will keep your board moving and secure the win.
Colony Flow Level 447 Overview
What You Are Working With
The pixel art picture features a large singing bird facing the right side of the screen. The bird has a massive red chest and a pink underbelly and brown wings. A thick dark grey outline surrounds the entire bird and provides details like the eye and the beak. The bird sits perched on a thick brown branch. This branch stretches across the lower half of the board. Green leaves and beautiful flowers decorate the wood. The flowers consist of white and pink and red petals circling bright yellow centers. Three light blue musical notes float in the air near the beak of the bird to show it singing. The entire scene rests on a massive background of white tiles. Below the board you will find your tray of numbered colored blocks. Some of the blocks are connected pairs. You have to move these connected pairs into the waiting slots together. Your waiting area has exactly five empty slots to hold blocks while the ants work.
What It Takes to Clear Level 447 Board
You win the level when your ant colony consumes every single tile in the picture. The ants spawn from a round nest hole at the bottom center of the board. They run up to the picture and eat tiles that match the colored blocks you pull into the five waiting slots. The large numbers on the blocks tell you how many tiles that block will clear. The block disappears only when the ants eat enough tiles to reduce the number to zero. You will lose the game if you fill all five waiting slots with colors the ants cannot reach. Every move requires you to make sure the ants have an open path to the colors you select. You must clear the outer white background first to expose the detailed elements in the center. Feeding the colony from the outside edges inward is the only way to prevent a fatal traffic jam in your waiting slots.
Colony Flow Level 447 Step by Step Solution
Step 1: Pull the large white blocks to clear the bottom corners of the board
The first thing you need to do is give your ants room to work. The entire picture is boxed in by white background tiles. Look at your tray and find the white blocks carrying the number 45. Pull one into your waiting slot. The ants will stream out of the nest and attack the bottom left and bottom right corners of the white background. Pull another white block to keep the momentum going. You want to strip away the bottom two rows of white tiles completely. This opens a clear path to the brown branch and the lower flowers. Do not touch the red or dark grey blocks yet because those tiles are buried deep inside the picture. If you pull a dark grey block now it will sit in your tray and waste a valuable space.
Step 2: Activate the yellow and orange blocks to eat the flower centers
Now that the bottom edge is exposed you can see the flowers clearly. Find the small orange and yellow blocks in your tray and move them to the waiting area. The orange block holds the number 5 and another orange block holds the number 4. The ants will quickly run up and eat the centers out of the flowers on the branch. This is a crucial move because it breaks the solid wall of flowers into smaller pieces. By clearing the centers you expose the inner edges of the green leaves and the red petals. Keeping your waiting slots clear of small blocks prevents them from jamming up your board later. You always want to knock out the small numbers whenever they have an open path.
Step 3: Use the green and brown blocks to dismantle the lower branch
With the flower centers gone you have direct access to the leaves and the wood. You will see a green block with the number 19 in your tray. Pull this block into your waiting area. The colony will split into groups and swarm the leaves on the left side and the right side of the branch. While they work on the leaves you should pull a brown block to start eating the wood. You will see a brown block with the number 34 in your tray. Move it up to the waiting slots. The ants will eat away the bottom of the branch. This exposes the pink belly of the robin and more of the dark grey outline. You must always clear the obstacles below the bird before you try to pull colors for the bird itself.
Step 4: Manage the connected blocks carefully to avoid a jam
You will notice several blocks linked together in your tray as you play. One pair features a white block connected to a brown block carrying the number 33. Another pair features a white block connected to a pink block. You have to be very careful when you pull these pairs. Make sure the ants can actually reach both colors. Pull the pair with the pink block as soon as the bottom of the bird is exposed. The ants will eat the white background tiles near the tail of the bird and they will also eat the pink tiles on the belly of the robin. This clears two colors at once and keeps your waiting slots moving. If you pull a connected block too early the inaccessible color will sit in your waiting slot forever and ruin your game.
Step 5: Send the colony to eat the red chest of the robin
The red chest is the largest solid block of color on the board. Once the pink belly and the brown branch are mostly gone you will have a huge open path to the red tiles. Find the red blocks in your tray. You will see several of them with numbers like 20 and 22. Pull them into your waiting slots one after another. The ants will form a massive swarm and devour the chest of the bird. While they eat the red tiles you should pull another white block to clear the background above the head of the bird. Striking from the bottom and the top at the same time is the most efficient way to clear the board. The red blocks will vanish quickly because the ants have a massive surface area to attack.
Step 6: Clear the dark grey outlines and the musical notes
As the red chest disappears you will be left with the dark grey outline of the bird and the light blue musical notes. Pull the dark grey blocks into your waiting slots. You will see dark grey blocks with numbers like 18 and 12 and eventually a large 29. The ants will eat the thick lines around the wings and the head. The dark grey blocks have large numbers so this will take a moment. Once the outline is broken you can pull the light blue blocks for the musical notes. The ants will rush up to the top right corner and eat the notes. Keep feeding them the remaining dark grey and white blocks to finish off the last few pixels. Keep at least one open slot in your tray until the very last piece is eaten.
Final Thought
Colony Flow Level 447 requires patience and a good eye for connected blocks. Always clear the outer background before you try to eat the complex details in the middle. Focus on keeping your waiting slots flowing freely so the ants never stop moving. I recommend you watch the video above this article if any part of this written guide is hard to picture. The visual flow of the ants makes the block order very easy to understand once you see it in motion.
