Welcome to Colony Flow Level 1267 where you feed a giant pixel art fish to your hungry ant colony. This puzzle demands careful management of your waiting slots because the tray is loaded with connected boxes. You must clear a path through the dark background before attacking the colorful fish details hidden inside. I will walk you through my exact method for beating this board without dead ending your paths or jamming your waiting slots.

Colony Flow Level 1267 Overview

What You Are Working With

The board features a large pixel art fish leaping out of the water. The fish body is built out of bright green, red, yellow, and white tiles. Light blue tiles form small water bubbles floating around the fish. A massive wall of dark purple tiles forms the background filling the entire top half of the board. The tray contains matching colored blocks with very high numbers. You will find several black blocks with counts of thirty to clear that huge dark purple background. The tray also holds connected boxes. These are distinct colored blocks linked together that must move into the waiting slots at the same exact time. You will see a green block connected to a black block and a red block connected to a light blue block as you play.

What It Takes to Clear Level 1267 Board

Clearing this level requires you to dismantle the dark purple background first to expose the colored fish tiles. The ants will never reach the red or white interior tiles until you eat through those outer layers. You must constantly watch the five waiting slots located at the bottom of the screen. If you pull a block from the tray and the ants have no open path to reach that matching color on the board, the block gets stuck in a waiting slot. Filling all five slots with stuck blocks means you instantly lose the level. Success means opening continuous logical paths so the ants flow out of the nest hole without stopping.

Colony Flow Level 1267 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Open the bottom corners of the dark purple background to create space.

Start by targeting the solid dark purple background at the bottom of the picture. The tray gives you several black blocks with a count of thirty. Pull one black thirty block into a waiting slot. The black ants will stream out of the nest hole located at the bottom center of the screen and head straight for the bottom right corner. They will chew away a large chunk of the dark purple background. This opens up the physical space on the board. You need this open space to allow other colored ants to reach the lower fins of the fish and the bottom water bubbles. Pull a second black thirty block to clear the bottom left corner next. Keep your eyes on the board to make sure the black ants have plenty of exposed dark purple tiles to eat so your slots remain clear.

Step 2: Deploy the first set of connected boxes into the waiting slots carefully.

Once the bottom edge of the board is clear you will expose a set of connected boxes in the tray. You will see a red block connected to a light blue block. Pulling one pulls both into your waiting slots simultaneously. Before you make this move you must guarantee that the ants can access both red tiles and light blue tiles. Look at the lower half of the fish. The first light blue water bubble is now fully exposed on the right side. A red fin section is exposed on the left side. Pull the connected pair. The red ants will march to the left side and eat the red fin. The light blue ants will sweep up the right side to eat the water bubble. Both blocks will count down to zero and vanish.

Step 3: Use green and yellow blocks to eat the lower body of the fish.

The missing red fin and light blue bubble create a clear path to the main body of the fish. The tray now offers a green twenty block and a yellow twenty five block. Pull the green block first. The green ants will follow the new open path up the left side to consume the large green section near the tail. Wait until the green count drops significantly before you pull the yellow block. Sending too many colors at once will cause a traffic jam on the board. Pull the yellow twenty five block next. The yellow ants will pour into the lower belly of the fish. This clears away the entire bottom half of the fish design and exposes the core colors.

Step 4: Clear the white belly and the middle red stripe to break the center.

The center of the fish design contains a large block of white tiles and a thick red stripe. You now have direct access to these interior colors. The tray reveals a white twenty block and a red twenty two block. Pull the white block into a waiting slot. The white ants will travel right up the middle of the board and consume the fish belly. The white section connects directly to the central red stripe. Once the white tiles disappear the red stripe becomes completely exposed. Pull the red twenty two block. The red ants will flood the middle of the board and eat the entire center section of the fish. Your waiting slots remain empty because the ants never run out of open tiles.

Step 5: Manage the green and black connected boxes to clear the upper fin.

The tray will present another pair of connected boxes. This pair links a green block and a black block. You must ensure there are both green tiles and dark purple tiles available before pulling them into your slots. Look at the top left corner of the fish. The top green fin is now completely reachable. The dark purple background surrounding the head is also fully exposed. Pull the connected green and black blocks into your waiting slots. The green ants will tackle the upper fin while the black ants eat the background directly around the fish head. Both blocks will drain efficiently. Managing this pair correctly prevents a dangerous bottleneck in your slots late in the game.

Step 6: Attack the head details and the red eye to finish the fish body.

Only the head of the fish and the top edge of the background remain on the board. The head features specific red and white details including the eye and the mouth. You will find a red thirteen block and a white twenty four block in your tray. Pull the red block first to target the eye and the mouth details. The red ants will march straight to the top of the board to clear these small sections. Follow up with the white block to clear the remaining white spots on the face. You must time these pulls so the ants do not block each other on the narrow paths leading upward. The picture will now look like a fragmented outline surrounded by a few light blue bubbles.

Step 7: Clear the remaining light blue water bubbles scattered near the top.

The fish body is completely gone but you still have several light blue water bubbles floating near the top right corner. The tray provides a light blue fifteen block and a light blue six block. Pull both into your waiting slots. The light blue ants will split up and target the scattered bubbles. Since the main body of the fish is gone the ants have completely unobstructed paths across the entire empty board. They will quickly sweep through the remaining light blue tiles. Make sure you do not pull any heavy black blocks while the light blue ants are working. Give them ample time to finish their meal and vanish from the slots.

Step 8: Finish the top border of the dark purple background to win the level.

The only tiles left on the board form a jagged frame of dark purple background tiles along the top edge. Your tray is now down to its final black blocks. Pull the remaining black blocks into the waiting slots. The black ants will stream out of the nest and march up both the left side and the right side of the board. They will chew away the last bits of the dark purple frame. The final block count will hit zero just as the last tile disappears from the screen. The level ends in a clear win because you never let your waiting slots fill up with trapped colors.

Final Thought

Beating this puzzle comes down to opening paths before you pull connected boxes into your slots. You will easily trap yourself if you pull a color that has no exposed tiles to eat. Take your time and let the ants clear the outer dark purple layers before attacking the center of the fish. Please watch the video above this article if any step is hard to follow in text.
